looonnnggg looonnnggg entry.

okay. im blogging for the sake of blogging. cos i realised if i continue to drag longer, the post will be SUPER DUPER UBER ULTRA looonnngggg. so here goes. ehh. where should i start man? i've lost track of where i stopped. LOL.

okay. whatever.
but anyway, study week. as mentioned during the previous post, i dint really studied until thursday. when i finally sense a bit of urgency & started on business finance. HAHA. cos i've got work during the weekends. UOB roadshow. with new colleagues. wanyi & joanna. both from TP! hahaha. had fun bitching about bankers, playing with helium, singing hokkien songs, etc etc. HAHAHA. yes! we sang hokkien songs. LOL. & we played with helium gas. SO FUN LERH! it was my first time playing with helium & all of us got soooo high. started singing songs with the high pitch cartoon voice. LOL. almost laugh our heads off man. HAHAHAHA. but anyway, went to watch fireworks on friday. thanks for everything, my dear. :D i love you.

then, exam week!
monday was paperless day. initially, i wanted to start studying the moment i woke up. but i decided that i should watch a bit of television program first. & i ended up watching tee-vee for the whole day. started studying at only 11pm. -_- HAHAHA. but hrm was easy to cover larh. studied for 3 hours straight & im confident enough for the paper.

so tuesday's HRM paper was a breeze. :D stayed back in school to study with darling. & it was kinda condusive lerh. HAHAHA. its amazing that he got restless before i do. HAHAHA.

but wednesday's business finance paper was just alright. furthermore, my day started badly. i lost my phone when i was on my way to school & i had to take cab from tampines back home to look for it. there goes my 15bucks. fortunately, it was still there. but its spoilt after being submerged in the puddle of water. -_- anyway, i realised i dropped it only when 969 was at the highway. so i only could get off the bus at tampines. SO DARN SWAY CAN! :(

so thursday was MBS paper & meeting up with LUCY LEOW LERH LONG (ruirong larh)! hahaha. the paper was just alright. not really confident. but its over! :D so meeting up with ruirong was super NICE! had fun catching up with her man. HEES. & coincidentally, we wore the top of similar colours. HAHAHA. we really got 默契 eh. LOL. anyway, we dined at fish & co. before heading to shaw tower for hair cut. initially, i just wanted to trim my hair. but i ended up cutting it till shoulder length. HEES. photos below! :D

then was friday. had my third driving lesson in the morning. couldn't wake up & was late. but anyway, the lesson was a fruitful one. & I DROVE ON THE MAIN ROAD! :D was driving in circles in the circuit den my instructor said to change driver. & so he drove & he signalled right to exit the ciruit. & i went, "are you sure?" den he said, "i should be the one asking you." HAHAHA. so i drove on the main road. WOOO! so shiok can! had such a great sense of achievement after the lesson. LOL. & being so happy, i dont wanna go home. LOL. called every possible person & i ended up at ruirong's house. HAHAHA. her new house is at 27th storey lorh. taking the lift up & down will die sia. your ears will feel blocked. :(

then was yesterday. my sleep was interrupted by various calls & messages. i almost blew up on the second caller man. please dont call me & talk rubbish when you know im asleep cos you should that im sleeping the moment you called me! RAWR! :( but anyway, supposed to be out to celebrate jamie's birthday. but i had to be at home till evening. so gave it a miss. sorry, jamie. :D and so, i packed my room. & went to collect my handphone afterwards. was so emo to & fro the journey to collect my phone. shall not elaborate. but went to my grandmum(maternal)'s house for dinner. & caught money not enough 2 with my family at night. the show was super touching & nice man! cried a couple of times in the movie. its surely a movie which can make you laugh like crazy & cry like crazy too. nice nice nice. give it a 4 out of 5. :) & my brother finally got his long-awaited PSP. HAHAHA.

then, today lorh. i finally can sleep till my heart content without any interruption from phone calls or message. HAHAHA. :D but anyway, i was feeling so bored watching television just now. there's nothing interesting sia. :/ OHMANS! its like the first time i feel that both the tee-vee & the internet is boring. ARGH. i shall go find some better entertainment now.

P.S. I MISS MY LONG HAIR! :( (i know im very fickle. but females are fickle. :D)

HELLO! look at the time now. TIME CHECK! 1.24am. & ONGMINYI is still awake. & she is having driving lesson at 10.30am tml morning later. :D bless that she can wake up on time & concentrate when driving. :X

anyway, i have been sleeping for around 15 hours for 3 consecutive nights. an average of 5 hours each night. HOW PATHETIC! i can feel my pimples popping out. :(

okay. but anyway, today yesterday marks the last day of end-of-sems. :D HERE COMES THE LONG AWAITED HOLIDAY! HEES. im as happy as the happiest person on earth. -showing the widest smile- :D

oh.my.gawd.i.feel.like.slapping.myself. *PIAK! for your info, i havent start studying at all. spent most of my time watching olympics & staring at my lappie. even if i said IM STUDYING, im just merely staring at my notes. HAHAHA. tsk. tsk.

okay. studies aside for now. i went for my first driving lesson yesterday! HAHAHA. i stalled the engine for a lot times & sometimes, i just release the clutch forgetting that its not at neutral gear. or maybe i'll be too nervous that i release the clutch too quickly when im moving off, stalling the engine. YES. LAUGH AT ME ALL YOU WANT! i think its perfectly normal for a NOOB DRIVER like me to stall the engine larh. HEES! :D at least, im starting to overcome the phobia of driving. I SWEAR I WAS SUPER PANICKY & TENSED UP WHEN MY INSTRUCTOR SAID IT WAS MY TURN TO DRIVE. ohgosh. -_- that explains the numerous stalling of the vehicle. :/ but my instructor is darn nice. he dint even flare up at me lorh! he even crack jokes to make me less tense. HAHAHA. overall, my first driving lesson is fruitful larh. at least, i learnt not to stall the engine continuously at the end of the lesson. & i successfully drove the car without stalling it for a continous 10mins? HAHAHA. second lesson's tml! :( ohmans. another heart attack. LOL.
but im glad i surivived yesterday's lesson. after the lesson, im filled with respect for people who can drive larh. LOL. i inspire to be like them. ONE DAY, eventually i'll definitely be someone who can drive too. HEES. :D

okay. im seriously ADDICTED to 命中注定我爱你. i cant wait for the whole show to finish screening over at taiwan. I CANT WAIT FOR THE ENDING LARH! :D:D:D & episode 23 is SO OH-MY-GAWD TOUCHING! super duper uber ultra romantic! GIRLS' FANTASY!

other than being addicted to 命中注定我爱你, im also stucked to the television at home watching OLYMPICS! :D micheal phelps is seriously legend man. he bagged 8 gold medals lorh! & the russian pole vaulter, Yelena Isinbayeva. she's another legend larh. she won the gold medal with just 2 jumps & broke both the olympic record & world record. SHE JUMPED A HEIGHT OF 5.05M LORH! she's just too mavellous larh. i was practically screaming at home when she jumped over that height. WOOO~ GORGEOUS! & gymnastics. both the men & women are just simply fantastic can! i couldnt stop applauding for them larh. LOL. RESPECT MAN! :D

okay. after being so out-of-focus, im gonna start mugging now. I MUST! :D
meeting my dearest worm later to mug! miss her man. have been ages since i last met her. CANT WAIT CANT WAIT! she just called me & there's gymnatics later. HEES. lets all jia you together! :D

oh yes. went to geylang on saturday for beef horfun! :D:D:D have been ages since i last ate it. & my parents tabao durian home. *YUMMY! & my throat was burning after stuffing myself with durian. ;P & im craving for dimsum now. after reading siewhwa's blog about her eating at xinfuyumcha. :/ lets go for dimsum feast after the exams! :D

lazy. lazy. LAZY.

BOO! im so bored at home now. although i have got things waiting for me to complete. or i could have started my revision since end-of-sems is just 1 week plus away. HAHAHA. but the lazy bug has bitten me. or maybe i just enjoyed too much during the Bali trip (which i really enjoyed a lot! :D) that i could not switch back to the mugging mode.

oh. god. please. bless. me. :(

& im cravings for:
- KBOX! (it has been quite some time since i last went singing. :D)
- Prata. (was randomly bloghopping & saw the photo of a prata, & i realised i havent ate a prate for months.)
- SUSHI! :D (just felt like eating. hees. ;D)
- LAKSA! the 900+ one. (haven't eaten it since i-dont-know-when-was-the-last-time-i-ate-it. how pathetic. :C)

& i need a haircut. like seriously. my hair is so messy. tying it up makes me feel so much better now. if you know me well enough, you should know i detest tying my hair up. cos it would reveal my fat face. LOL. :/ how contridicting humans can get eh.

im so confused. i dont know what i want now.
you're making me even more uncertain.
i needed more than what you gave. :( ARGH.

My Bali Experience.

WARNING: THIS POST IS VERY PHOTO HEAVY! :D

HELLO ALL! im back from my 4 days 3 night trip to Bali. :D

Here's a quick summary of this trip.
This trip was a 'DRY' one. Although Bali is a place with pretty beaches. We did not do any water sports, but just spent our time sight-seeing there. Visited a workshop which produces Batik cloths, the Batur Volcano & the Batur Lake, A Bali-nese house, A Plantation which produces coffee powder and cocoa powder, Tanah Lot (the temple built on a rock), Ulu Watu (the temple built on the edge of a cliff), Tampak Siring Temple.

Day 1:
Actually, it cannot be considered as day 1. As all we did was taking the plane from Singapore to Bali, then got transferred to our hotels. Stayed at Risata Hotel. & had a very late dinner at around 12midnight.

Day 2:
Our tour started at 9am. First stop, we visited the Batik Workshop.

Then, we went on to visit one of the Balinese home. A Balinese home is made up of various buildings, namely the kitchen, the various bedrooms, a building for the ancestors' alter.

(Ohmygawd! They are so brave! I freaked out when one of them wanted to pass the lizard to me. EWWW!)
But one of them is very cute. he posted for my photo! :D

The family reared a pig and two chickens.


Under this stone, buried the placenta & embilical cord of their babies. Its a part of their tradition.

Then, we proceeded to a plantation where there were various plants & they produce cocoa & coffee powder.
The process of making the coffee powder: -

1) Drying the coffee seeds under the sun.
2) Frying the seeds in a pan.
3) Pounding the seeds into powder.

Had the chance to try their mocha. :D very nice & pure.

Soon after, we proceeded to a Restaurant near Volcano Batur for lunch. The scenary there is superb. VERY PRETTY! :D Volcano Batur is also one of the more active volcanoes in the world. Its last eruption was during 1963.

After lunch & photo taking, we carried on our tour to the Tampak Siring Temple (aka Holy Spring Temple). We have to put on sarongs for those who are in shorts.

Its called Holy Spring Temple also because there's a spring in it, with water oozing out from the ground, bubbling into the pond above it.

See the water bubbling out of the ground. Although its not very clear. But I tried my best to take this video as clearly as possible! :D

We then went for dinner at Jimbaran beach, one of beaches at Bali famous for its gorguous view of the sunset. But it was kinda cloudy that night. We only could see a bit of the sun. :(

There's a lot of restaurant along this beach.

But dinner was sumptuous. Had lobster, crab and other seafood. HAHAHA.

Its very romantic over there at night. It is very ideal for a walk with your loved one after dinner by the beach. :D Also, its candle light dinner!

Day 3:
We went on a tour to Ulu Watu Temple, which is located at the edge of a cliff.

The wave there is truely very strong.

Then, to Tanah Lot, a temple which is built a rock along the beach.

After the tour, we had dinner at Hard Rock Cafe. Before, we went for shopping at the shopping district nearby, Kuta Square. Soon after, we went for our spa session. :D SHIOK SHIOK! The spa lasted for 2 full hours. & soon, we were brought back to our hotel for dinner. Had Singapore Sling. But i dont think it is nice lorh. The alcohol taste is too strong.

Day 4:
The day started with me going to tan by the pool side, intending to even out my tan. Went for a short swim after it too. Soon after, was checking out of the hotel, visiting the 2002 Bali Blast Site, and SHOPPING! :D

Then, went walking along the beach waiting to see the beautiful sunset of Bali. However, it was too cloudy. :( A second failed attempt of viewing the superb sunset. What a pity.

However, we witnessed 2 weddings during our stay there. Both were the weddings of Caucasian Couples. & my dad kept saying that i could go over to Bali for my wedding next time. -_- he even took photos of one of the weddings & said that i could advertise it to my other friends. double -_-

Anyway, we had dinner & went back to the hotel to wait for the transportation to the airport.
And we landed on Singapore at around 12.40am this morning. :D

Overall, Bali is a super nice place for a holiday. Bali is a very religious place. There is about 250 000 temples on that island. & most of the temples are located at the coastal areas. Cause they believe that the temples are their fortresses against 'attacks' from outside. Anyway,its a very good place for a getaway from the city areas and allow us to relax our minds. :D I would definitely go there again in the future! In terms of shopping, it also has nice places to shop at, with reasonable price. CHEAPER THAN IN SINGAPORE! :D & of cos, the spa. Its definitely cheaper than in Singapore. Also, i havent tried any of the sea sports there! I WANNA GO THERE AGAIN! :D Afterall, it just need a 2hours and 10 minutes flight to bring us there from Singapore.

OH YES! I BOUGHT THE HAVAIANAS WHICH I HAVE BEEN HUNTING FOR IN SINGAPORE. SO H-A-P-P-Y CAN! HAPPY, ELATED, ECSTATIC, CONTENTED, DELIGHTED, LUCKY, OVERJOYED, SATISFIED, JUBILANT, FORTUNATE, GLAD & WHATEVER YOU CAN THINK OF. :D x 1MILLION!
