Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to stop in to share a card that I made using some new goodies from Lawn Fawn.
I used the new heart dies and the new Daphne's Closet paper pack. I L.O.V.E. that paper pack-- so many pretty patterns and colors *swoon*! The sentiment is from Sophie's sentiments, which is a great basic set to have on hand. It's an oldie, but goodie! The white dots are flicks of Mister Huey's opaque white color mist and the whole thing is mounted on summer sunrise paper (PTI).
Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you're having a good week!

A Happy Hello
Hey Again!
Since I already had all my Papertrey Ink things out for this card, I thought it would be fun to participate in this week's Make It Monday, which is all about adding glitter trim to your project. ...A challenge with glitter...? Uhh...yea, I'm in!
I may have gone a little overboard with the glitter trim idea because, omg, I totally underestimated the mess this little project would create. I think I'll be finding glitter fordays weeks. Here's why:
For this card, I used the wonderful words: hello stamp set, which is embossed with black. I then cut strips of cardstock (scarlet jewel, autumn rose, canyon clay, summer sunrise, and simply chartreuse) and ran them through my xyron. I added prisma glitter to the strips and proceeded to cover everything on my desk with sparkles (as a side note, swiffer cloths work great as glitter clean up cloths). It didn't help that Audie was poised and ready to help...
He's a creature of opportunity--those scraps are mighty shiny and the opposite of tasty (not that he knows that until he sinks his teeth into them). He steals them like a stealth ninja and runs for the hills (bedsheets)! With my fingers covered in glitter, he was definitely at an advantage--though that simply resulted in him being inadvertently bedazzled. Which resulted in my room, carpet, and sheets ending up a little more fabulous than they were before this evening. Alas.
Okay, back to the card. See how sparkly it is?
Anyways, that's all for me today. Thanks for visiting!

PTI Monogram Blog Hop
Hi Everyone!
Today is the Papertrey Ink February Blog Hop. It's all about monograms.
So I decided to get out my PTI letter dies and the new Irresistibly Ikat stamp set. Here's what I came up with:
I used Summer Sunrise, Aqua Mist, and a tiny bit of Raspberry Fizz cardstock for this project. I really like that color combination. Both the card and tag are embossed in white. Here's the card by itself:
And the tag (Tag Sale #5 die):
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Stamp-a-ma-jig Tutorial
Hey There!
I hope you've enjoyed the weekend! I was lucky enough to spend a bit of time at my craft desk today (...alas, no craft room, but a girl can dream!). I was in the process of using a stamp set that I received for Christmas and needed to use my stamp-a-ma-jig to get everything placed correctly. So, I thought it would be fun to do a little tutorial on how to use a stamp-a-ma-jig. It's such a handy tool for stamping images precisely. And, it's not just for wood block stamps-- it works perfectly for clear or cling stamps too!
Here's the how-to:

I was in the process of using a stamp set that I received for Christmas and needed to use my stamp-a-ma-jig to get everything placed correctly. So, I thought it would be fun to do a little tutorial on how to use a stamp-a-ma-jig. It's such a handy tool for stamping images precisely. And, it's not just for wood block stamps-- it works perfectly for clear or cling stamps too!
Here's the how-to:
Start by placing the plastic sheet against the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig. It has a smooth side for water-based ink and a textured side for pigment or dye ink. Once the plastic sheet is placed, grab your mounted stamp and align it in the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
This is how the plastic sheet should look when stamped.
Next place the sheet over your card and position the image.
Once the image is positioned, align the Stamp-a-ma-jig with the plastic sheet. This will serve as your stamping guide.
Next, remove the plastic sheet without disturbing the Stamp-a-ma-jig. Align the mounted stamp in the corner of the Stamp-a-ma-jig and stamp the image...
...for a perfectly placed image every time!
This was just the right tool to use for this card. The flowers and leaves included a solid image and an outline image. Since they're cling stamps (Stippled Blossoms by SU), it's hard to place everything correctly without the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
I finished the card by rounding the opposite corners and placing the panel on some orange patterned paper from the new Pink Lemonade paper collection by Lawn Fawn. The sentiment is from PTI (Irresistibly Ikat).
Hope you found this helpful. Let me know if you have any questions (email up at the top right corner or in the comments below). Thanks so much for stopping by!

Hello Card
Hello!
I wanted to share one more card for today. I recently received a new "Hello" word die from PTI and wanted to try it out.
Here it is:
After adhering the strips of paper and the sentiment, I adhered the black cardstock panel on some Hawaiin Shores cardstock (PTI) and offset the panel for a little extra interest.
That's all for me today. Thanks so much for visiting! Hope to see you back soon!

Camera Craze Challenge
Happy Friday!
I just wanted to stop by to share a card for the current challenge at the Moxie Fab World Blog: The Camera Craze Challenge.
I don't seem to actually have any camera stamps or dies, but I did have some camera related paper! I used a sheet from the Amy Tangerine Sketchbook by American Crafts. Here's my card:
I sentiment is from Mama Elephant (Smitten) and the smile is from Lawn Fawn (Sunny Skies). I thought the smile made the picture look a bit like it was developing. I also used my Papertrey Ink polaroid die and some silver washi tape to finish the card.
Thanks for looking!

"Carp-e" Diem!
Hi Everyone!
Hope everyone's week is going well! It's been so cold recently that I've been thinking more than usual of the beach--thus the inspiration for today's card! This week's Lawnscaping Challenge is to "Stamp a Scene," so I thought I'd channel those thoughts into my own little piece of paradise.
Here's my take:
This card was a lot of fun to make! I started by inking the background panel with distress inks to create a gradient of color. I then stamped my "spatter" Impression Obsession cover-a-card stamp with water onto the inked panel. Since the distress inks react with water, the stamp creates a neat pattern on the panel. I thought it looked a bit like bubbles. It's a little hard to tell in the picture, but do you see the little dots?
After I finished the panel, I cut a sandy hill out of kraft cardstock and also inked that with the "spatter" stamp, although I used VersaMark this time to create a tone-on-tone look. I then die cut the Twiggy Tree from Memory Box since I thought it could pass for some coral.
I then stamped and colored many of the images from Lawn Fawn's Critter's in the Sea and positioned them in throughout the panel. Lastly, I stamped my sentiment with Smitty's ABC's (Lawn Fawn). While my scene may have taken a few artistic liberties (...carp may actually be freshwater fish...), I thought my sentiment was too good to pass up! What a fun and encouraging way to tell someone to "sea-ize the day"! ....eh, eh? ...alright, alright... I'll stop ;)
Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a good rest of the week!
