 Our Mansfield Thiots

This is the inside to show us how it really was.  Not a great space to spend a very cold winter.
This is the remodeled on the outside Liberty Jail in Liberty Missouri.
This painting of our Prophet Joseph Smith in Liberty Jail speaks volumes.  What a very difficult time.
Presidents Day Weekend added a Monday off of school and the Mansfield Thiots decided to take a getaway to Ricky's Mission Field in Independence Missouri.  What a great experience they had together.  I'm so glad they got to go.  It was a double blessing that it was not crowded, they had nearly a personal tour of many of the locations and they loved it.

Our Medford Granges

This week Charlie celebrated in Kindergarten the 100th Day of School.  Oh what fun they had counting to 100!  Go Charlie! Tatia had a very busy Stake Primary Week.  They had a Music Training and also their monthly Stake Baptism on the same Saturday.  Run Tatia Run!

Our Folsom Thiots

On Presidents Day, Charlie and the guys went to see the new marvel movie together.  They thought it was pretty good and the popcorn and drinks were maybe even better.  Charlie's doctor released him from taking the blood thinners after his prescription runs out.  That was a good thing.  Physical therapy is going well.

Jen had a great thing happen.  She had a researcher at Emory University send her some research on the Charles Henry Thiot family.  One of the treasures was a will of Charles that included the name of his first wife and the mother of his son Charles Thiot.  It was written in a very  fancy cursive handwriting and she sent it to us all hoping someone could decipher the handwriting. Sky was the one who could tell just what it said.  Anne MacGuineas.  What a wonderful find to know her name.  We now can search to learn more about this sweet lady.  Thanks Jen and Sky!

Our Orem Thiots

Presidents Day in Orem was a bit chilly.  They took a ride up to Tibble Fork Reservoir for a Polar Bear Swim.  BURRRRRRRR

Our Upstairs Thiots

Wednesday I got to come with Sky and Elinor for their Daddy Daughter Date after school. We had so much fun at the park.  It was a glorious afternoon and the park was packed with fun kids to play with.  Elinor loved organizing some fun games and we all had a great time.
After the park, we met the Mansfield Thiots at Chik fil A for dinner.  Elinor loved seeing her cousins and it was so fun to catch up with them.  We loved our time together.
I loved that Harper put a fruit punch flavored PEEP on top of her ice cream cone.  YUM!

Our Brooklyn turned 16 back in January.  This is the first time we've had a chance to see her in person. Aunt Lani sent this fun gift for her for me to deliver. How I love these amazing young woman!

Presidents Day brought a gorgeous sunrise to Coachman Court.  It gave me a clue that it was going to be an extra special day.
I love this photo of Presidents Day from 11 years ago.  Our Friends Luke and Owen were going to turn 13 on the 21st but we met them on Monday night to celebrate on the Eve of them becoming Teenagers.
While we were waiting for them, the sun was setting and it was amazing.  It kept getting better and better. Sky snapped some great photos.
We went to a fun place that Sky knew about and had yummy icecream with cones that look like fish.
It was a beaufiful evening to enjoy our fun friends.
SomiSomi in Frisco is delicious!
We got the guys some Dr. Pepper Peeps and made a card with our favorite game of UNO!

One of the best parts of the week was on Thursday night when Dick returned from Beaumont after 2 1/2 weeks of being gone.  It's good to have him home.  Now to catch up here.  I love this photo of Dick's parents and his Grandmother and his aunt that I printed and framed on his night stand.  We don't have many pictures of the two of them.  It makes me happy and it did Dick too. I hope you've had a wonderful Presidents Week.  Sure Love you, Robynn

Happy Week of Valentines!

 Our Mansfield Thiots

This is one of my favorite Valentine Stories.  My little girls, Brooklyn and Addison loved it too.  They would hold a stuffed lamb all cuddled up in a blanket, (napkin) while I read the story.  We loved doing this together.  I loved when I found this picture this morning.  Happy Valentines Girls! Can you come over so we can snuggle and lamb and read it together?

I love these darling cousins together.  Brooklyn, Penny and Addison!

Our Medford Granges

The Weatherman in Medford sent a special dusting of excitement on Valentines Morning.  SNOW, not a lot but on the benches was quite a bit and so school was put on a two hour delay.  That made for a great morning.
Even time to go outside and play for a little bit before packing up their valentines and heading to school.
It was so fun when everyone came home and dumped out their boxes and got to enjoy their valentines with each other.
The next day was even better than Valentines Day if possible.  It was Miss Penny's first temple trip with her Young women's group.
She has been looking forward to going inside the temple for a while and it did not disappoint. As you can tell from her smile on her face, she loves the temple!  Me too!
Our Folsom Thiots

Ewan is the only Folsom Thiot still in Elementary school where valentines are exchanged in school.  I love his fun cards he made.  He made a pretty snappy box where the valentines were fed into the mouth on the box but sad to say, no photo, just image how cool it  must have been.  Maybe something like this

Our Lilly had a fun Valentines at the dance at UVU.  A cute guy in one of her classes invited her and they double dated with her cousin and his date.  Oh what fun college life can be!  Go Lilly!

Our Orem Thiots

The Brinkerhoff Grandparents sent a valentine  box of fun surprises and that started off a very grand day
I love these Valentine Mail boxes, soooooo cute!
I'm not sure who this cute guy is with Adelaide!  Big smiles on both faces.  Good Valentine Friends!
Instead of making cards to exchange, Stacy delivered Pizza at lunch time. Take my word it was a HIT!
You can tell by the smiles on these cute faces!
Pierce was lucky enough to be able to be the helper at the  Book Fair on Valentines Day.  Boys, remember when you each got turns at being Clifford, the Big Red Dog at Well's Elementary Book Fairs? What fun!

Our Upstairs Thiots

After the paint dried...

Elie got to make her Valentine Box.  She did an amazing job and loved doing it  all by herself.  She loved valentines day!

On Wednesday for Elinor and Skylers Daddy Date. Sky picked Elinor up in her bike trailer.  It was a Gorgeous weather afternoon.  They headed to the park and there was another table filled with fun kids there and they had a blast playing together.  Elie loves pic pics she calls them.  It was a great one.

On Saturday, my past seminary student, soon to be missionary, and her parents went  to the temple for her first time.  Levi needed a place to go play while they went and he chose to come to Sister  Thiot's house.  Oh how lucky we  were.  Skyler was the Hero of the day and  made this cute welcome sign for him.

Levi has a tough time being away from his Mom and Dad and it was the best that Sky knew how to find his  favorite shows on TV and guess who loves trains.  Yes, Levi!  He and Sky   built a fabulous train track.  Our Brio train is more than 30 years old. What a fun time they had together.

We Plano Thiots

When I went to get the mail on Valentines, look what was in my mail box.  All the way from Beaumont Texas, a beautiful card that looks right out of the 70's when we first met.  I loved it and I love you Valentine.
I also bought some tulips from him.  I'm nice that way sometimes:)
Our Porch  looks pretty festive for sure.
My friend Karen  had some surgery and has  needed some help.  I loved getting to go on Valentines Day to help and share a pretty tulip with her too.  Karen  lives alone with a cat who hides  when I come over to help. We both had on powder blue sweat shirts.  We loved being twins!

Levi was also enchanted by my rollercoaster beads.  We played for an hour going  round and round the tracks.  He is one of our sunbeams in Primary and is 8 months older than our sunbeams,  but I just pretended this would be as fun as would be to have them at my house.

Thanks for coming Levi, and THANK YOU Skyler who made the first hard part better when Levi wasn't sure he really wanted to be at Sister Thiots without his parents  there too.   Maybe next time he will be a happier boy.  I hope you've all had a nice week of Valentines too.  Happy Presidents Day tomorrow! SLY Robynn
