Our Mansfield Thiots
This weekend is Stake Conference in the Arlington Texas Stake. When we heard that the Stake Sunday School President had been invited to speak, we wanted to be there to listen. But the weekend was the one where Dick would be in New Orleans. Ricky was able to share the ZOOM link so we could watch it where ever we were. What a blessing to many of us who got to watch it all over the country. Ricky spoke about how we can all help to Strengthen the Rising Generation. Ricky is a great speaker and brought such a sweet spirit that continued for the whole meeting. He told about sharing that he was speaking in Conference with his boss and how great the Come, Follow Me program for studying the Gospel at home with our families. I'm so glad that Skyler was able to show it on our TV and we could watch it together. Such a great night. Afterwards it was time for BYU to play football with Wyoming. I was too tired to watch, but when I woke up at 3:30 this morning, BYU TV was playing it over again. I loved watching the fast version of the game. Go BYU!
Our Medford Granges
When the new Highlights magazine arrived this week, there was the funnest idea to make Monster Pals with empty toilet paper rolls. What a very fun activity this was to do for an early release day. Everyone loved making them.
Such very creative monster makers are the Granges.
So very very fun!
Penny made one too but was busy practicing the Violin during the photo shoot. Yes, Miss Penny was invited to join the 6th Grade Orchestra at school. She's loving it!Our Folsom ThiotsThis was the first week of Callum's sixth grade Cross Country race. He was a great runner and did a great job.
He made the school Newsletter on Friday! Run Callum Run!
The Group National Parks was in town and the Folsom Thiots hoped on the train and headed to the concert.
Stacy told them to watch for her Cousin who is part of the band.
They were thrilled to find him after the concert and got a picture with Brady! Exciting Times!
Our Orem Thiots
I love this picture of the Orem Thiot's home with their orange glow Halloween lights on. If you look closely, you can see Adelaide Elizabeth in a perfect handstand on the front sidewalk. Pierce always loved Christmas light and always said, when he grew up and had his own home, that he would have the best lights on the street. I do believe his wishes came true. Go PJ GO!!!! Stacy's mama came to town while Pierce had to take a business trip to Chicago this week. Mama's take the best care of us.
Our Upstairs Thiots
Last Sunday, Kamila came over to play after her naptime. Elinor was thrilled to have her come play. She set up everything in the family room so she could play with all of her favorite things.
She loves the giraffe and loves to play on the big triangle quilt.
Elie loved playing with the lincoln logs after Kamila had to go home.
Sky and Elie loved doing some experiments with Mentos and Diet coke. Quite a BLAST!
Tatia sent a fun puzzle for with mermaids and GLITTER, two of Elinors favorite things! We love Elinor Weekends!
Skyler and Elie have a friend named Jeff who is a waiter at the Waffle House. Jeff is one of the kindest and nicest people on the planet. He has been very sick this past week and when Sky and Elie heard, they went right to work making get well cards and made him a muffin and went to the hospital to visit Jeff. I'm happy to report that he has gone home from the hospital. He is doing better but still needs some surgery. He's been in our thoughts and prayers this week. Sky has been great to visit him and help him feel loved.
We Plano Thiots
I was luck enough to watch Kamila for an hour this week. She is so fun. We went and visited a couple of my neighbors who love babies too.I loved getting this photo of Dick in New Orleans playing golf. He is on a business trip this week and I'm so glad with all the stressful times, he can squeeze in some golf. That makes him happy and me too!
We have a new great Nephew this week. Meet Zachary Aaron Cline, baby Zac belongs to Jordan and Jamie and makes four little ones for them. We are so happy he is here and doing well.
I love that Zac's initials spell ZAC. Zachary Aaron Cline
I'm getting excited for General Conference and we loved making Conference fun packs for our primary children.
We traded Sister Carr this week for two new sisters. What fun it's going to be to have a trio of Missionaries again. I love them.
At the family history center this week we noticed how much Aunt Ruby and Grandma Birks look alike. Ann Marie Pickelsheimer taught me how to compare photos to identity them. So fun!
Sister Povar serves at the temple with me on Friday mornings. We call ourselves the Temple twins since we have matching temple dresses. I couldn't resist taking our picture together. She has been home from her mission in Germany having her ACL repaired and is now ready to go back to finish her mission. I will miss her.
I hope you've had a great week. Know that you are loved and thought of often. SLY Robynn
