 Our Mansfield Thiots

Right before Ricky left on Father's Day, he asked Dick to come and be in a photo with him.  I love this picture of the two of them together.  They look so much alike and are both great men!

Our Medford Granges

Jake is a wonderful dad and nothing makes him much happier than to be outside in the beautiful outdoors taking in nature.  He loves to hike and teach the kids about birds, and waterfalls and all of nature that he loves. So thankful for you Jacob!

Our Folsom Thiots

This picture of Charlie and Jen's family makes my heart sing.  I love seeing them altogether with even their well loved dog Winifred and on the beach where everyone is happiest!

Our Australia Thiots

Pierce and his family are over in Australia having the time of their lives.  They had a great Fathers Day there and Adelaide celebrated her 9 year old birthday in Australia too. These go carts look like so very much fun to ride.  What a great time.  I can't wait to hear all about it.

Skyler has been blessed to have Miss Elie for the  month of June.  We have loved every single day and the days are going by way to fast.  Having a five year old at your house is so much fun! Slow down time! Please!

I was invited to speak in our Sacrament Meeting on Fathers Day.  When I told my sister she said of course you were asked, we have such a great dad.  She is right.  I do have a great dad and I married a man who turned into a Great Dad and I have four sons and one son-in-law who are all great dads. I have to admit, I was glad when I opened my eyes today realizing I was NOT speaking in church.  It's much more fun to go when you get to be a listener.  https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/friend/2022/02/for-older-kids/danilos-dad?lang=eng I shared this story in my talk that really touched me and several others too.  I thought you might like it.

Happy Fathers Day Dad in Heaven and to Dick, Ricky, Jake, Charlie, Pierce and Skyler! Sure Love you, Robynn

Happy Birthday Harper and Happy June!!!!

 Our Mansfield Thiots

What a wonderful week in Florida our Mansfield Thiots had.  They  loved getting to spend time with Becky's family.
I loved this 3 generation photo of Brooklyn, Becky and Diane.  Feeding the alligators!
Gator rides and these three were all in!
Actually, Harper was really ALL IN.
What a beautiful beach and a beautiful family!
They got home on Friday evening just in time for Harper to wake up in her own bed for her 10th Birthday!  Happy Birthday Harper.  She had a Perfect 10 Birthday.  Breakfast in Bed, Lunch at Chik fil A and then a day at Six Flags over Texas.  She was finally tall enough to ride BAT MAN! Oh my goodness, that was a great birthday gift of it's own.  Becky made her her favorite dinner Fettuccini Alfredo, soooooo good and then the family watched Sonic 2 altogether!  A Perfect 10 Day for Harper Grace Thiot.  We LOVE YOU!
Our Medford Granges

There is still another week of school in Oregon, but Jake has some vacation time and so they loaded up the van and headed to Washington.  On the way, they heard the good news that Raising Canes, a favorite Chicken fingers and fries place had opened up in the Portland Mall.  What good fortune.  It was a favorite from their days in Charlottesville.  Tatia and Penny got to run in and get a to go order for the family.  What a happy family that was!  Winners Winners, Chicken Dinners! Can't wait to hear about the rest of your trip.

Our Folsom Thiots

This was Keelie Christina's week to Shine.  It was awards night at her school and I believe Keelie brought home ALL the awards.  We are so PROUD of you Keelie, just like the sign says!
Keelie Thiot: Presidents Gold Award, The Nielsen Award and Outstanding in History, AVID and English!

What a smart, beautiful, kind, helpful, wonderful girl.  How blessed we are to have you in our family!

This photo looks like it should be on the front cover of  Hiking in the Utah Mountains Magazine.  Pierce and Jackson and Mister Squirrel, went for a great Father and Son's camp out this weekend.  They camped at Rock Canyon Campgrounds up Provo Canyon.  What a blessed time of their lives to live right by those glorious mountains.  Utah We LOVE Thee!

Skyler is blessed to have Miss Elie for the month of June.  From 8 am-8 pm.  Let me tell you, this first five days have been so much fun.  Sky and Elie went out back and asked me to not come out.  They were doing a surprise for me.  A CAR WASH, homemade style.  My car has never looked better!  Thank you BOTH!!!
Our friends the Crandall's, have shared their swimming pool with us and Becky has many painted rocks in her backyard.  Elie wanted to paint some more for her and loved painting her several.  A watermelon rock, a strawberry rock, an ocean rock, and a gold rock.  We put them outside on the table to dry and during the night a rainstorm snuck in and washed away the paint.  Don't you worry, she is going to repaint them and then sneak them into Crandall's backyard.
Take me out to the ballgame, take me out for the fun. Buy me some peanuts and crackerjacks, I don't care if we ever come back for it's Root Root Root for the Rangers, if they don't win it's OK, for it's One, Two, Three Strikes your Out at the Old Ballgame!   They enjoyed exploring the new baseball park and then took a trip next door to Six Flags.  Six Flags closes at 7 and so they still had an hour to spend at the Trampoline Park.  I'm sure they both slept very well that night.
Sky sent this photo saying Sesame Street is alive and well.  If you squint your eyes, you just might think that you are looking at the backside of Bert.
Sky and Elie have been riding the Dart train for pick ups and drop offs to save some gas and to make it an adventure.  I love that she's gotten to enjoy a few shows on her travels.

June 3, 1955 was the date that my parents were married.  Sixty Seven years ago and I love to think about that day that we call our Family Birthday.  The day my family started.  I love putting Mom's bride doll that she so lovinly made many years ago out of her own wedding dress and designed just like her wedding dress.  She and her sister Darling did that fun project together.  I love that she gets to live at my house and spends the whole month of June in my living room which was Mom's living room.  She looks very much at home there.  It makes me happy.
I love Mom's bridal photo that stands by her doll.
Stacy took this picture of my parents just the summer before we lost mom.  I love them standing by the apple tree.
My sisters; Lani and Laurie and Laurie's daughter Krista and Krista's daughters Hailey, Aida and Sophie took a 60th Birthday trip to San Diego California this week.  One of their favorite stops was the glorious Temple in San Diego.  I'm so glad they got to be there on Mom and Dad's anniversary.  The Perfect spot to remember!
We've always said, Our Family Rocks, this pile of Rocks reminds me of our family, We are growing! Funny story about these rocks.  Remember last week when the Israelite children crossed over the River Jordan to get to the Promised land?  Of course you do.  Well, they were told to bring 12 rocks with them  to remind them and their children and their children's children about the miracles they have seen.  I asked Dick if he could find me 12 nice rocks.  He went over to Discount Tires and they let him borrow his favorite 12 rocks.  When I returned them the next day, I took a batch of Chocolate Chip Cookies to thank them.  They were so happy.  They said they would share their rocks anytime with a cookie baker.
President Eyring celebrated his birthday this week.  What a beautiful human being.  He has taught me much and I love his teachings.
I called Sky on the phone on Tuesday to ask him to meet me out front with a can of Great Northern Beans.  My friend was wishing for a can, and I didn't have time to go to the cannery so Sky has a food storage shelf in his room and he brought me down a can and met me out front.  Anytime I ask Sky to do anything, he goes the extra mile.  He decorated that can so cute!  Thanks Sky!

Happy Schools Out and Memorial Day Weekend

Our Harper graduated from 4th grade and will be moving to Intermediate school of 5th & 6th grade in the fall!
Ricky and Becky and 20 of their closest friends had a fun evening at a comedy club.  They loved laughing and being together.
After counting down the last month of school, it came and the girls were picked up from school on the last day and scooped up to Florida.  The Jensen's had planned a family reunion to be ALL together after five years.  What a magical time they are having.  So happy for them!
 Our Mansfield Thiots

Medford still has two weeks of school left.  There have been some fun things like dress up like your favorite spelling word. MEGA

The babies are enjoying the Ice Cream shop they got for the family birthday on May 24th.  They have scooped and passed our a LOT of ice cream!

On Memorial Day, a hike was planned to discover two gorgeous waterfalls.  Everyone loved it!
What a beautiful part of this world Medford is close to.
I can almost feel the splash of the falls on my face.
Love these sisters who adore eachother.
What a great family who loves to be outside together.
Hi Charlie and Max! Ready for take off
Some slippery moss, be careful Looks like a giant turtle
Hi Mister Oscar!
Simon, that donut looks delish!

Our Medford Granges

Ewan had his last day of school and he was thrilled!
Liam had his last day and he looks kind of sad to be done with his Freshman  year. I think he really is happy to be done.   Callum and Keelie still have a few  more weeks of school.
I'm not sure there is anything more fun than at playing with friends in a giant sad box and making some cool tunnels.  My kids loved that when they were young and now grands do too.
It's time to plant pumpkins on the hill and Charlie and the boys loved it.

Our Folsom Thiots

Our Orem Thiot's neighborhood planned a giant water slide to come to the culdesack to celebrate being out of school for the summer.  Jackson also celebrated his  Six Year Old  Birthday.  Exciting times!

Memorial Day was filled with memorable fun things.
Making funny faces is always fun.  Adelaides last day of wearing her braces!!!
Jackson, you can sure make silly faces!
They were able to visit the cemetery where Grandma Brinkerhoff is burried.  Such a peaceful place to remember how much she is loved.
I wonder if Pierce will be able to carry both of his kids ALL of his life.  You are amazing PJ!
A hike to bridal veil falls was remarkable.  Even with a bit of rain and snow.  It was awesome!
Love those storm clouds!

Our Orem Thiots

Miss Elie graduated from Pre-Kindergarten this week and she couldn't be happier
Such a darling little girl ready to sign up for Kindergarten in the fall!
Elie's dance recital was sunday afternoon and I was so happy to be invited to be there with Sky and Elie! She was so thrilled with purple flowers!!!
She danced in four different dances and we loved every minute.
Sky and Elie went ice skating on her last day of school.  She found it to be a little harder than it is when she practices on our shiny wood floors in socks.  She got better as the afternoon went on.  Go Elie!

Our Upstairs Thiots

I loved this picture from Wasatch Lawn Cemetery with my family members at my parents grave on Memorial Day. So sweet!

We celebrated Memorial Day with a bunch of missionaries and Apple Pie and Ice-cream. We loved being there with them.
Then we met up with our cousin Jeremiah at the Crandalls pool.  Such a perfect spot to be on a Hot day.
We loved walkling through the City of Plano's Memorial Day Park. What a reverent feeling was there.

Happy Memorial Day weekend dear friends and family.  How we love you!
