 Our Mansfield Thiots

What a fabulous week the Mansfield Thiots had visiting the Orem Thiots.  They know how to pack a lot of fun into a little bit of time.  They got to have dinner with Aunt Lani and Aunt Laurie and Krista and her girls one night at Lani's new home.  Oh it's all decorated for Christmas and is just magical. The girls had a fun hunt in Lani's basement and had a great time.  They got to have dinner with Ricky's best buddy Blake one night and loved that too.  They explored some museums and even took a look of the Beehive house where my mom lived while going to Beauty school.  Oh what a great time Pierce's family showed them.  They ate dinner in Midway in some nifty pods one night and loved Thanksgiving at Sundance.  They hit the ground running when they got home and were in charge of Packageing and distributing 600 Christmas cookies to begin the Light The World Christmas for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  WOWSERS!!!! Way to go Mansfield Thiots!

Our Medford Granges

Tatia's family hosted the Nelson Family who also have a set of twins who are Charlie boys age.  What a fun time they had counting their blessing by drawing their blessing on the giant chalk board.  I love Tatia's chalk board and love to see what they are drawing on their.  There was only one funny part of Thanksgiving.  Rachel also loves to bake Apple Pie for Thanksgiving.  Little did she know Tatia is famous for her Apple Pie.  Next year will be your turn Tatia!  The Granges have been decking their halls for Christmas since Thanksgiving.  The kids have all got trees in their room with the exception of the babies.  They are enjoying everyone elses.  Max moved his top bunk up to the Middle Boys room and they've turned it into the Dinosaur dorm room.  Oh they are enjoying being together.  Max's room is a pretty great play room.  Penny quite likes having the lower floor to her self.  Way to go Medford!

Our Folsom Thiots

Thanksgiving in Folsom was FABULOUS!.  Oh my, Jen sets a gorgeous table.  I love the chalk board place cards and the everything looking yummy.  I love everyone getting to help peel the potatoes for the feast.  The best part of all was having EVERYONE Home for the Holiday.  Oh how we miss Lilly while she is away during the school year.  Thanksgiving is the best with all seven of them together!  I love their tradition after Thanksgiving to go and find their Christmas tree and cut it down themselves.  This year Liam was the one who got the pass to cut the tree.  Oh they picked a beauty.  Way to go Folsom Thiots!

Our Orem Thiots

What an amazing week this was in Orem.  It was Stacy's Company's black Friday sale which was bigger than ever and she and her team were super busy getting everything ready to ship.  Pierce and Stacy are wonderful hosts when you come and stay with them.  They know all the fun things to see and do and love to share their car and their home with you.  Thank you Orem Thiots for your kindness and generosity.  Those five cousins love being together.  Time just goes too fast! Guess what? The ski resorts are OPEN, you know what that means?  Pierce and Adelaide got their first day of skiing on WHITE Friday.  I loved it.  Way to go Orem!

Our Thansgiving Week was so blessed having Elie with us each day.  Sky picked her up each morning at 8:00 and met her mom each evening at 8:00.  Oh how we loved having her here.  We had lots of fun with baking and we got to go to her friends Ella and Evie' on Thanksgiving morning for Pie for breakfast.  It was quite fun and we saw some Sister Missionaries who were also invited that we knew.  We loved that too.  I love the Thanksfun Tree Emily made to put blessing on the leaves.  We vote we want to try that next year too.  We went to see Encanto and LOVED it.  What a fun movie.  We loved the music and all the fun magical powers everyone had. Very fun Week!

We Plano Thiots

My friends Lisa and Letitia sent me an order for Thanksgiving Aprons a week before Thanksfiving.  They were hosting their 4 cousins and wanted matching aprons.  I had such fun making them and cousin Pammy was kind enough to cut out their names and press them on with the darling chef hats.  Thanks Pammy!
I am not sure if Elie or I enjoyed our Tom Turkey more this year.  We've had  windy week and he has blown around a bit but kept making us smile.  Elie told us we won the prize for the best decorations.  Go Elie!
We came home on Thanksgiving and found that our Front Door had been blessed with a heart attack.  Our Sister Missionaries had covered our door with hearts and sweet messages.  Love those sister Missionaries.
Our Family has added two new grandpups and five new grandkitties this year.  This card reminded me of those blessings to our big family.  I hope you've had a fantastic week of Thanksgiving.  We surely count you all as our blessings this Thanksgiving 2021!

We loved having Ricky & Becky's family come on Friday night to meet up with Tina the Ballerina's son Jerimiah and his wife Jami.  They have just moved here to take a new job and we are so happy to have them.  We had such a fun time getting acquainted with them.  They let all of us ask them a question and then they in turn asked us each a question.  They were so great to include our girls and we all fell in love with them.  Ricky's family headed to SLC on Sunday to join up with Pierce's family for Thanksgiving week.  They've got lots of fun plans and I can't wait to hear all about it.  Have fun and be safe!

Our Medford Granges

This was a great week in Oregon.  It was family pictures one night and Tatia had fun coordinating everybody's outfits.  I loved this photo of them all loaded up in the van on the way.  Looking great Granges.  Remember the angel Elisa who was Tatia's angel nanny when the twins were little.  She was home from college and came and had dinner with them this week.  She couldn't believe how the babies have grown.  She was truly a life saver when those babies were so little.  On Saturday morning Jake woke up and wanted to go the the beach.  So they packed up everyone and a nice picnic lunch and off they went.  What a beautiful place.  It was just what everybody needed.  There are so many interesting places to visit and not too far away. Glad you had a good time!

On the 17th, Charlie and Jen celebrated their 1st wedding anniversary.  I love this photo of them in front of the Sacramento Temple.  That is where they were going to be sealed until it closed down because of Covid 19.  Oakland was a lovely substitute and not too far away.  I love this picture of Winnie just chilling by the firepit.  So cute Winnie! I Loved the t-shirt quilt Jen's mom made for Charlie for his birthday.  I loved seeing all those great T-shirts that Sky and Charlie have done together.  COOL!

Our Orem Thiots

Adelaide and Jackson got their vaccines this week.  I'm so proud of them for being so brave.  They are so excited to have their cousins coming this week.  They are in for a treat!

Our Upstairs Thiots

who would have ever guessed you could have so much fun playing in a leaf bag?

Sky and Elie raked up our leaves and our neighbors leaves to make such a fun jumping pile!

We had such a fun Elie weekend and are looking forward to more Elie time this week too.  Our new cousins, Jer and Jami went with Sky and Elie downtown and did a photo shoot with them.  We've been needing a new family picture of them to hang in my bedroom.  I'm looking forward to seeing what they captured on their camera. I love this balloon Sky bought her that lights up.  She loves it. Elie brings a light of sunshine when she comes to our home.  We are thankful for the times we get to spend with her.

A friend of mine requested aprons for she and her sister for Thanksgiving and years ago, Tatia and I made some using kitchen towels from World Market.  I wanted to take a trip to the world market which moved to Frisco and asked Dick if he would like to meet at Costa Vida for dinner.  While we were there, two sister missionaries came in and Dick offered to buy their dinner and they joined us.  Then our friends the Baileys who moved to Frisco came in and joined us.  It turned into quite a party.  Loved it!

Saturday night while I was doing dishes, I looked out my kitchen window and look who was looking in at me.  OH MY GOODNESS, our turkey had been blown by the wind and was peeking right inside my window.  I didn't know if I should call the Police on my Peeping TOM or the Butterball hotline.  It made me smile!  I love our turkey.  He makes me smile even peeking in my window.

I hope you have had a great week and that you have got some fun plans for Thanksgiving.  Please know that I am sure thankful for all of you in  my life.  You bring me joy every day. SLY Robynn

Our Mansfield Thiots

Ricky and Becky have got their pumpkin turkey on their front porch too.  Such a fun way to welcome in the Thankful Season of the year.  Becky was invited to speak in her wards sacrament meeting on Sunday morning.  Ricky said she did a great job.  She is amazing! Ricky sent us the girls upcoming Holiday concerts and events for next month.  We got tickets for Addison's play and are looking forward to Brooklyn's concert and Harper's recital.  Such a fun month coming up.

Our Medford Granges

Veterans Day was a school Holiday in Medford and Jake had heard about a wonderful place for a family hike.  I loved the photos they shared and when I see all these grandchildren walking or running down the "covenant Path" it makes me oh so happy.  That is the way to happiness for sure!

It was also flu shot day on Friday and Tatia feeling extra brave, took six little Granges to get their flu shots.  No tears! I love this photo of the babies cleaning mirrors.  Tatia has a great cleaning team on Saturday mornings!

Our Folsom Thiots

Folsom also has a school holiday for Veterans Day.  I love the parade the city hosts.  Charlie and Jen loved being there with their family.  I loved seeing the tuba player in the band and remembered the days of watching our kids in the marching band.  Oh so fun! Sunday afternoon was the Primary Program in the Folsom 8th ward and Callum and Ewan were two of the super stars.  You can see them in front of the podium.  I love our two 10 year old boys! We loved getting to ZOOM in and watch! Happy 1 Year Anniversary on the 17th Charlie and Jen!

Our Orem Thiots

Sunday morning was the Primary Program for Adelaide and Jackson too.  Adelaide shared her part with me on the phone after she picked up her turkey feather to paint purple.  Our family has a wonderful ministering brother, Jacob Barneck.  He cut out the feather for her on Thursday and Friday morning he was traveling to Salt Lake to attend his uncles' funeral and took the feather in his suitcase.  Then on Sunday afternoon he met up with Pierce's family and delivered Adelaide her feather.  I can't wait to see how it turns out with her painting magic.

Skyler got his car inspected this week and it passed inspection and he was able to get it registered. WHEW!!! Way to go Sky!  His Wednesday afternoon with Elie was at the first showing of Clifford the Big Red Dog!  They both enjoyed the movie.  When you go at 4:30, you get the theatre almost to your self.  Another little girl was their too.  Lots of happy laughter!

For my Life Story Writers class this week, we were invited to write a story about something we are Grateful for.  I chose to write a poem about a little white mouse who I met while I was serving in the temple this summer.  He was actually imaginary, but I thought I saw him.
My friend Marsha and I served lunch at the Sidewalk Showers on Saturday morning. (we wanted matching shirts to be the server girls)   We made turkey sandwiches and of course you needed to put them into turkey bags.  Oh what fun I had cutting and pasting 55 turkey lunch bags.  Silly old me.  I was really happy when our sweet homeless lunch guests loved the bags and especially the yummy lunch inside.

Our Relief Society Activity this week was The Happiness Project.  I loved the cute journal Fran made for all of us to record things that make us Happy.  It's been fun to watch for these things to and record them inside this cute journal.
I loved this list that was inside the front cover
Dick was asked to pick up ice cream for 150 Priesthood brothers for the treat at Stake Priesthood Meeting.  I volunteered to pick it up and what fun that was to have 150 ice creams in my Sams Club Cart.  I think I gained 5 pounds just pushing them around the store.

On Friday night, the BYU Management Society held their annual Gala and Dick was invited to be on the set up crew.  Elder Tad Callister was the key note speaker.  I loved getting to go to to listen to his wise wisdom of how to increase your leadership in this world.  It was fun watching Dick in action to behind the camera and getting all the wires set up and covered up.  Go Dick!

It was our Primary Sacrament Meeting Program on Sunday and what a lot of fun that was.  Our Primary President and one of the Counselors were out of town, so the other counselor and I were kind of  in charge.  We planned a celebration afterwards with a hot dog lunch for 50 and it was so much fun.  We set up all the seminary tables and chairs and as I stood in the back of the room, I had the sweetest feeling looking at my primary children and thinking, these are future Seminary students in training.  They all did a super job on the program and the singing was fabulous.  Our Stake Primary Presidency all came and gave the kids the nicest pins that say Come Follow Me to put on their back packs.  what a treasure.  I love those Stake Ladies.  Thanks Sky and Dick for helping me with the programs.

Dick and I were invited to help serve the lovely Turkey dinner for the Stake Individual members on Saturday night.  We loved getting to help serve and clean up.  What a blessing to be there.  After this extra busy week, I'm hoping for a bit more boring one this week.  I hope you all have a good one too.  Sure Love you, Robynn
