 Our Mansfield Thiots

It was Spring Break for these four cousins and so we planned a day of fun together.
When Graypa went to Orem, he made EGGS with the Orem Thiots and we wanted to try them too.
I love how Addison hooked them all into a line.
Elinor loved putting as many stickers on as possible
Harper made a couple of super cute ones too.
On Wednesdays night we got to watch the Youth Music Festival.  We loved it!  Music from all over the world was presented.  Even though we couldn't understand all the words, we loved the great spirit they brought.
Skyler's friend Richard let us watch Raya, the Last Dragon and I have to say, we all really enjoyed it.  We loved our happy meals too where we got the dragon for our prize.

These are Ricky's girls on their drive home.  I think we wore them right out.  I loved having them and so did Elie.  She cried when they left.

Our Medford Granges

I loved these two leprechauns on St. Patrick's day.  They are soooooo fun!
On Saturday after everyone got their chores done, they loaded up the van and headed to the safarri for an adventure
It looks like they are in Africa which made a fun trip to think about grandpa Great going on his Mission to South Africa.
They loved the Giraffes and the Zebras and so many other amazing wild animals.
Gracie was cozied up in her blanket I crocheted the edges of.  Tatia said she was quite enchanted with the endging and just kept touching it and counting all those many stitches.  That made this grammy happy
Tatia caught these two up on a stool trying to reach the remote controllers.. I think they think they are old enough to watch a show or two.  You silly babies.

Our Folsom Thiots

A few weeks ago, Keelie got everyone into the St. Patricks day spirit with her famous Jello Jigglers.  I haven't made those for  years.  It got me in the mood to try them again too.  Way to go Keelie

When you have four letters in your name, it's a natural to have your name on a four leaf clover.  I loved Liam's idea of doing this.
Charlie and Jen went right into production making sure nobody was going to be pinched by not having green on for March 17th.
Such a fun idea.  Thanks for sharing the photos Folsom Thiots.

Our Orem Thiots

While much of the country was enjoying Spring, Utah decided one more snow fall would be a good thing.  It was a nice spring snow that didn't last long but sure  looked pretty.  Now they are ready for t he real deal.  Warmer temps and green not white lawn.

When I was reading the Conference Report last sunday, lo and behold Pierce's double was featured on page 52.  I had to do a double take as it sure reminded me of our Pierce.  You are amazing!

Our Upstairs Thiots

Last weekend Skyler got a message from one of his very favorite converts from his mission in Brooklyn New  York.  It was Janae' telling him that he would be speaking in Sacrament Meeting on Sunday.  You see Sunday, marked his 11th year anniversary of being baptized a member of the Chruch or Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  He said in his talk that he really counts March 14th as his birthday as it's the day he was born into Christs church.  I love that Sky was able to Zoom the meeting and watch it.  Janae' is a great artist and is an amazing man.
Miss Elie has been most creative this week in hosting a tea party for the kitties.  She makes me smile.
Speaking of smiling, undernieth those masks they are both smiling as they are enjoying a trip to six flags.  Elie had spring break this week so no school and they had a great day there.
Elie loves shooting these blasters on the rocket ships.  She loves the rides there with her daddy.
The Popcorn trees are popping and you won't be surprised to know that the purple popcorn are Elinors favorites.  I loved this one we found at the park and we needed a photo with it.
Elinor planted some tiny tiny seeds last week and on Saturday, if you look very carefully, you can see the seeds have sprouted and she is going to be so happy tomorrow when she gets to see them.
Cousin Day we had a field trip to Hobby Lobby and couldn't' resist trying on these silly bunny glasses.
Elie and her mama found a real live 4 leaf clover on Saturday.  Soooo pretty

Skyler had a lucky day on Saturday when he was over at his buddy Matt's home.  Matt works at Parkland Emergency room and they said they had a few extra Covid vaccines and Sky got one.  What a relief that is!  WHEW!  Dick and I are scheduled for Thursday afternoon to receive ours.

We Plano Thiots

After a crazy busy week at work, Dick and Keith treated themselves to a afternoon of golf Well deserved you two!
I loved changing my letter board to get EGG cited for Easter.  It's coming in only two weeks.  Let's get ready!
Our buddy Jamey Veibel was baptized early Saturday morning.  We were so happy to be invited to attend.  It sure got us excited for Maxwell's baptism in just 3 more weeks.  Yahoo!
We had a fun play date with our park buddies on Wednesday.  We found a park called Copper Creek that was quite peaceful and fun. We can't wait to go back soon.
I looked out the window and what did I see, Popcorn Popping on the neighbors Pear trees.  We love this time of year when it looks like popcorn.  SOOOO Beautiful!
This squirrel sized picnic table made me smile that I saw this week.  Oh my goodness, I bet the squirrels that live in our trees would love one of those, Dick can  you build us one?

Happy PI Day!

 Our Mansfield Thiots

Happy Pi Day Everybody! It's March 14th or 3.14 which is a fun thing to think about today.  Whether you are a mathematician or not, it's still fun to stop and enjoy a slice of Pie!
Earlier this week, we had a very tender moment with Brooklyn.  She has had a pet hermet crab for a couple of years named Shelby.  She has taken such very good care of Shelby and has loved her.  She texted me this week and said Shelby must have outgrown her shell as she had crawled our of it.
I told Brooklyn that I had three shells that Shelby was welcome to choose from if she needed a bigger home.  Brooklyn told me that Hermet Crabs are very selective on choosing new homes.  She said her dad was going to stop by Pets Smart to see if he could get Shelby a new shell.  The next thing I heard from Brooklyn, she told me that Shelby had gone to hermet crab heaven.  That she didn't need a new shell afterall but just needed to go to heaven.  Brooklyn was very sad as you can imagine.  My heart hurt for our Brooklyn.  It's hard to have to say good bye to pets that we grow to love so very much.

Our Medford Granges

Charlie Boy is one happy boy whenever he has a ball in his hands.  The weather has been so nice in Medford this weekend and Charlie was thrilled to get to play outside
Gracie hoped onto Charlie's scooter and made us all smile.  She took her first 3 steps this week!  From three steps to scootering.  WOW!!!!
Oscar is loving the great spring time weather too. Love that Smile!
Oscar was invited to his friend Peyton's birthday party this week.  What a great time he had.  Oscar is so happy to be back to school for a few days a week.  He is looking forward to his 6th birthday on the 22nd.  One week and one day away!!!!
While Gracie is trying out the scooter,  Simon is trying out jump ropping.  What a fun guy.  He is amazing!

Our Folsom Thiots

Charlie sent some photos to my phone and I don't know the story behind the photos so I get to make up the story.  I'm really only guessing this is Charlie.  He seems to have grown a cougar chin and looks great! What a beautiful blue sky.
What a beautiful day of Spring Skiing!
Love this picture of Keeling on the Ski lift!
Hi Callum Jay, (I think)
I can't wait to hear the whole story or their magical day on the ski slopes!

Our Orem Thiots

Dick and Pierce have been planning a ski trip ever since Pierce and Stacy moved to Orem.  This was the magical weekend.  I dropped Dick off the airport and he met a missionary retunring from the Spokane Washington mission.  Dick loved getting acquainted with him.  His flight was delayed due to mechanical difficutlities.  We were glad they took care of it before departure.  Pierce was patient in picking him  up late that night. Thanks Pierce!

The 2nd Edition of the new Deseret Magazine came out this week and Pierce was so excited that Stacy's company got a beautiful full page ad for her bracellets.  Way to go Poppy Lane & Co!
Such a darling little girl in the picture.  I love her pretty smile and darling braceletts.
Pierce made Dick an amazing breakfast his first morning..  WOWSERS, I was afraid he would never come home.
Dick was so proud that he had made his bed that he sent me  a picture.  I'm proud of you too.  He is a really good bed maker!
They headed up the slopes and found new snow on the slopes.  It was a beautiful ride up the canyon.
They had a great time and unfortunately, I don't know how to put the video Pierce took of  Dick sking down the  mountain.  He was magnificent!
Friday morning he woke up early and headed to the beautiful Mt. Timp Temple for the sealing of our dear friend Kumar to his sweet heart Marissa.  It worked out so great that Dick had already had plans to be in Utah when Kumar called to tell him that the temple had approved March 12th for their sealing.  Happy Day! Dick sesnt this photo on his way and said he guessed hew as on the right road.  YES!
I loved this picture as they came out of the temple, sealed for Time and ALL Eternity.  Such a happy couple
I loved this group picture and that tiny flower girl was adoreable.  I loved this photo of Dick with Kumar and Malissa.  Kumar sometimes says, we are his church parents.  We love him and are so happy for him.
Dick took a magic bag of crafts with him.  I loved seeing him crafting with perler beads.  A favorite for many of our grandchildren.  They were both really great at it.
Jackson is so proud of his Easter Egg!  Way to go Jackson!
Love that look of Concentration while putting each tiny bead, one at a time.
Adelaide was great at it too and enjoyed it a lot!

Adelaide lost a tooth while Graypa was there.  She is so diligent at brushing.  She had a trip to the orthodontist to make some plans for future visits.  Go Adelaide.

On Saturday, all the Orem Thiot's went to the slopes for a day of skiing.  Dick was so impressed with everybody's skiing skills.  They loved being there together I loved that

When Dick left Sunday morning, Adelaide and Jackson wanted to ride with him to the airport.  What fun they had this long weekend together.  Thank you for your hospitality and love!

Our Upstairs Thiots

We got our Easter decorations set up at our house with Elinor's help on Monday and Tuesday.  She got to have a sleep over on Monday night which we all LOVED.
It was her mama's birthday on Wednesday and she wanted to make cookies for her for her birthday.  We loved diong that.  Plenty of sprinkles:)
She and Skyler went bowling for the first time on Tuesday and had a great time.  She is a great bowler!
She got some valentines that took a month to come from her friends in Princeton, Texas.  That was crazy but was worth waiting for.  Elie loved adding some stickers to them.

Our Easter Grass is growing.  Not as thickly as it was planted but it's been fun to watch.  I think she will be happy to see it tomorrow.

We Plano Thiots

Our Sweet Kyla Radke entered her home MTC on Wednesday and invited Dick and I to attend the temple with her on Tuesday afternoon for her endowment.  Oh how I LOVED being in the temple again.  I've missed it soo.  Can you see Moroni?
This is Kyla and her mama Lisa who looks like her sister instead of mama.  Great people!
Tatia and I worked on changing our letter boards this week together.  She is great at it.  It was fun to do together.
Sunday morning I had BYU TV on and lo and behold my cousin Julie was speaking at the BYU Idaho Devotional  Her mama is my Aunt Ruthie who is my Grandma's sister.  It was so sweet to listen to her wise council as she spoke about how we can try out best each day to be better.  I loved it!
This quote from Elder Packer spoke to my heart.

This is how Miss Elie and I packaged up her beautiful purple sprinkled cookies.  They made several people very happy.  It's almost time to go pick up Dick at the airport.  I better sign off and jump into my clothes and head that way.  Sure love ya'll, Robynn
