Our Mansfield Thiots
Online classes began on Monday and when I asked Brooklyn if it made her day feel longer or shorter, she assured me in was LONGER!  I love that girl.  What a blessing that the schools are able to provide ways that learning can take place during these crazy times.  I love that for PE one day, the weather provided swim time.  They turned the trampoline into a black sand beach and had a great time.  Ricky's stake has asked him to figure out ways to help people recieve the Sunday School lessons and he wanted to check in on our Zoom Seminary one morning.  It was fun to have him there with us.  The girls started this big puzzle thinking it would take the whole time they had to stay at home but guess what?  It's done!  They do have some very great puzzlers at their house.

Our Medford Granges
The Medford Granges closed on their house this week and got the keys.  The painters are getting started and the fence builders are coming soon to.  While they wait to move in, there is plenty of fun things to do at home.  Lots of books have been read.  Penny finished her first Harry Potter Book and got to watch the movie.  Max finished Charlie and the chocolate Factory and little Gracie loved listened to him read to her.  He is a great reader.  Charlie and Oscar have loved the puppet theatre Tatia  put up in the hallway.  There have been lots of fun stories written and acted out with puppets.  Oh what fun! Pierce's family taught them how to make quilts on the side walk.  They loved a nice afternoon quilting with side walk chalk.  Love it!

We got a phone call from Keelie last night calling from Love Field in Dallas.  She had a 40 minute layover and then headed for home!  What a wonderful two weeks she and her grandma spent in Houston with her aunt and children and brand new baby girl who was born on Monday afternoon.  Welcome Baby Lyla Christine.  Keelie's middle name is Christina and she loves that they share that special name.  Charlie and Jen took a fun bike ride across the American River Bridge.  As you can see, Miss Jen puts a smile on Charlie's face.  Mine too!  I'm not sure about the six feet apart rule:)

Our LA Thiots
I can't believe what Adelaide, Jackson, and Pierce started on their driveway.  I love all the beautiful Side walk chalk quilts that are appearing everywhere.  Such fun.  Thanks for sharing with the world LA Thiots!  Light brights have come out of the box and been a fun way to keep everyone happy too.  Now I'm not sure about the pulling  your eye balls out.  YIKES!  Jackson has surely started something, not sure good.  Bike rides around the neighborhood and a car ride to a friend who was having a birthday to sing happy birthday from the car windows have put smiles on these faces this week too.  Thanks for sharing your fun ideas!

Our Oak Lawn Thiots
Miss Elie is an outside kind of gal and with all the rain rain rain we have had, she is sure glad for a few sunny days to run and run and run.  Miss Elie has a funny connection to sticks.  She can find them where ever she goes and she must have quite a collection of them.  On Saturday they watch Moana and when she was out for a walk, she found a Hook like the guy in the movie.  She was so very happy with her find.  What a fun girl you are Elie.  I loved this little snowman that my sister Lani built.  It reminded me of Bobo who lived in our freezer for years and years in an ice cream bucket.  Sky had built a HUGE snowman and when it started melting in the sun, he rescued it and stored it in the freezer.  Many a primary singing time it came when we sang. Once there was a snow man snow man snow man....  Love it Lani!

Dick and I have loved going on walks and have so enjoyed the creative art work on the side walks.  With our big rain, the sidewalks are cleared ready for new art to go on.  We drove over to Cousin Pammy's to check up on them, and their side walks were magnificent.  We loved it and decided we need to start carrying chalk to comment on the art we love.  Way to go Royal family.  Well done!  Seminary has been a blessing to have rolling on Zoom this week.  I love getting to see my class and getting to teach these great lessons from the Book of Mormon.  I've got a lot to learn about figuring out this zoom buisness but hopefully I can.  We talked about how important it is to "preserve" our records this week.  I showed them a jar of cherries that have been in this jar for way to long, but are still sealed and preserved.  By recording our stories and writing down things of importance to us, we too are preserving.  Dick's new sign for his new builidng arrived this week and he was sure pleased with how it turned out.  Thanks Sky for helping him design such a snappy sign.  It looks great.  Dick still fills safe about working from his office.  He's sure glad they aren't in that big office anylonger where it would not be safe.  This small office is good.  Have a great week everyone.  I'm so grateful we can join our fast with the world today as we fast for the health and safety of eachother.  Sure love you,  Robynn

Our Mansfield Thiots
Mansfield ISD Starts online school on Monday and so until then, the Mansfield girls have been busy looking for fun things to do at home.  They live close to the elementary school and Ricky has taken  then to ride bikes, shoot hoops and play as safely as they can.  Harpers Art teacher posted some art lessons on You Tube and our whole family loved drawing that cute fox this week.  I love when everyone shares fun ideas with eachother.  Thank You!

Our Medford Granges
Tatia has turned on her super mama powers and has made the first week on Staycation a good one.  They had Space Camp for a couple of days and studied the universe.  They made peanut butter play dough and loved that too.  On Saturday, they enjoyed building puzzels together and Jacob's little sister even had her baby this week.  Tatia loved painting a peg family for them.  So cute! The best news of the week is today!  Oscar Henry turns 5 years old today!  What a great 5 he is.  Happy Happy Birthday Oscar!  So glad you are in our family! (saving a spot for the birthday boys pic)

Our Carmichael Thiots
Charlie and Callum went on an 8 mile bike ride on saturday afternoon around a beautiful area not to far from home.  Callum is a great biker and can keep right up with Charlie.  Keelie has been in Houston this week helping with Aunt Kelzie's little kids while their familyprepares to add baby 3 tomorrow!  What a good helper she is.  I wish Houston and Plano were closer together.  It is fun to have another Thiot in Texas!

Our LA Thiots
Pierce has been working at home all week and Stacy took the kids on a hike with a friend to give Pierce a bit of quiet work time.  They hiked four miles which is a LOT for those little short legs.  I was so proud of them.  They've had a fun time building a fort on the trampoline.  Lots of quilts and even a blow up matress made it a nice cozy spot for saturday morning.  Pierce even considered packaging his precious cargo up in plastic tubs to keep them safe from the virus.  I love you!

Our Oak Lawn Thiots
Miss Elie has enjoyed lots of scooter rides around her neighborhood.  She loves seeing all the flowers and the beautiful trees bursting with new leaves and especially the pink and purple ones.  I love her in her snazzy sun glasses and rainbow dress on St. Patricks day.  Her family met Graypa for lunch at their favorite sushi place to help their business and their tummy's. Skyler came over and gathered up some puzzles to build with his family.  He loved this where's waldo puzzle and was a little disappointed to find three pieces missing.  I'll keep hunting for them sky!

We Plano Thiots
Our friend Willem was baptized last Sunday afternoon at the Bishops Swimming Pool.  It was a bit chilly but he will never forget it.  Per recommendation, we weren't able to attend, but were able to drop of an 8 sucker for the cute boy to find on the porch when he arrived.  We've known and loved Willem since he was born.  We've even discovered that our families are cousins related through the Harris/Green line.  Pretty cool.
Dick has still gone to the office this week, but is making preparations to be able to stay at home soon.  It's such a crazy time to know just what you should be doing to be safe and keep others safe too.
Tomorrow we start ZOOM Seminary as Skyler named it.  We will meet over ZOOM and teleconference our lesson together.  I must admit, I'm kind of excited as we moved the time to seven from six.  Nobody seemed to complain a bit.  I'll let you know how it works out.
This crazy pandemic virus has caused me to do a lot of thinking. I've been taught since I was a little girl about the second coming of Jesus Christ.  I've been taught and studied the signs of the times as we call them how their will be storms, earthquakes, wars, days you can't tell if it's summer or winter and crazy sicknesses.  I don't think I ever really thought, that I would still be around for all the crazy parts.  I'm so grateful we have a prophet on the earth who is so wise and is trying to prepare us for what is to come.  We've been practicing Home centered, Church Supported Church for an hour on Sundays and now we re ready to take on the whole day at home.  I'm grateful for so many helps to  help us find peace and have hope in crazy times.  Know that you are loved and prayed for daily.  SLY Robynn
Enjoy this. I watch it every day for comfort.
