Our Mansfield Thiots
I do believe the most exciting update in Mansfield would have to be Addison's new smile. She got her braces on and is doing really great with them. Addison is not a complainer and the discomfort has not turned her into one. Way to go Addison. You are amazing and I'm happy for your beautiful smile. Brooklyn and Harper have been great supporters for her too. I sent home some of my temple cookies from Seminary to the girls and I'm so glad they enjoyed them.
Our Medford Granges
Saturday was an extra beautiful day in Medford. Jake and his parents planned a hike to Table Rock and the three big kids plus Penny's friend Caroline were invited. They had a wonderful time enjoying the out of doors on such a pretty day. Tatia, Charlie and the babies also took a hike in the stroller and scooter around the neighborhood. Great day! Jakes great parents will stay until Monday morning and then the Medford Granges will fly solo until Cousin Krista arrives the first part of March. Things on their new house are rolling along nicely. It looks like maybe by the first of April, they will be ready to move in.
Our Carmichael Thiots
I have never understood the thrill of having a JEEP covered in mud, but then I'm not a Thiot boy. My guys have always known there was something magical about being in the outdoors, in a jeep with mud making your shiny jeep look "cool". And there was always something else about it, you NEVER wash it off right away. You simply must drive it to work or to church at lease once as a symbol of your coolness. These pictures make me smile knowing that Charlie has found someone wonderful who also shares a love for the outdoors and doesn't mind muddy jeeps. There smiles make me smile too! I think Charlie's Jeep is a CJ-7 I like that!
Our LA Thiots
When Pierce and Stacy moved across the street on McDonald Street to their new house, they had a vision of what the back yard could be. Pierce has spent lots of early mornings and late nights moving dirt, moving trees, moving bushes, did I say moving dirt and building retaining walls and building benches to turn a scruffy, back yard, into their dream back yard. this week they laid the sod/aka artificial turf. No mowing, no watering needed, just plenty of play time for two kids who are so thrilled to play. Adelaides cute little Beach House fits nicely into the plan and soccer games have already commenced. Let the fun begin!!!!! I can't wait to plan a trip to see it in person. I've seen in in various stages and this looks wonderful. Way to go LA Thiots!
Our Oak Lawn Thiots
One of the things I am sad that I missed while I was gone to Tatia's house, was Miss Elie's 3rd Birthday party. It was a 3-Rex Party at the Perot Science Museum. Her favorite place to spend her Wednesdays. She had lots of friends come and share the fun. I loved the photo of the table all ready to roar and party! Way to go Sky and Kara. Miss Elie had a very happy birthday party! Happy 3!
One of the old buildings in Dallas was imploded this week. Well, it was supposed to have all fallen down, but with Elie close by, she caught it!!!!! Great picture Sky! It is supposed to fall the rest of the way down later this week.
We Plano Thiots
Last Sunday morning was the blessing day for our two newest family members. I'm so glad Dick and I could be there to share this very special day with therm. Jakes parents were there too and lots of others in spirit were with us. What a great day it was. Jake gave them both beautiful names and blessings. Simon Wylly Grange who shares Dick's middle name, and Grace Elizabeth Grange who shares her Great Grandma's middle name. Special names for two very special babies. we feel so blessed to have them in our family. Dick returned home on Monday afternoon and I came early Wednesday morning. It was great to be there and it's good to be home again too. Sure love ya'll, Robynn
