Our Mansfield Thiots
I do believe the most exciting update in Mansfield would have to be Addison's new smile.  She got her braces on and is doing really great with them.  Addison is not a complainer and the discomfort has not turned her into one.  Way to go Addison.  You are amazing and I'm happy for your beautiful smile. Brooklyn and Harper have been great supporters for her too.  I sent home some of my temple cookies from Seminary to the girls and I'm so glad they enjoyed them.

Our Medford Granges
Saturday was an extra beautiful day in Medford.  Jake and his parents planned a hike to Table Rock and the three big kids plus Penny's friend Caroline were invited.  They had a wonderful time enjoying the out of doors on such a pretty day.  Tatia, Charlie and the babies also took a hike in the stroller and scooter around the neighborhood.  Great day!  Jakes great parents will stay until Monday morning and then the Medford Granges will fly solo until Cousin Krista arrives the first part of March.  Things on their new house are rolling along nicely.  It looks like maybe by the first of April, they will be ready to move in.

Our Carmichael Thiots
I have never understood the thrill of having a JEEP covered in mud, but then I'm not a Thiot boy.  My guys have always known there was something magical about being in the outdoors, in a jeep with mud making your shiny jeep look "cool".  And there was always something else about it, you NEVER wash it off right away.  You simply must drive it to work or to church at lease once as a symbol of your coolness.  These pictures make me smile knowing that Charlie has found someone wonderful who also shares a love for the outdoors and doesn't mind muddy jeeps.  There smiles make me smile too! I think Charlie's Jeep is a CJ-7  I like that!

Our LA Thiots
When Pierce and Stacy moved across the street on McDonald Street to their new house, they had a vision of what the back yard could be.  Pierce has spent lots of early mornings and late nights moving dirt, moving trees, moving bushes, did I say moving dirt and building retaining walls and building benches to turn a scruffy, back yard, into their dream back  yard.  this week they laid the sod/aka artificial turf.  No mowing, no watering needed, just plenty of play time for two kids who are so thrilled to play.  Adelaides cute little Beach House fits nicely into the plan and soccer games have already commenced.  Let the fun begin!!!!! I can't wait to plan a trip to see it in person.  I've seen in in various stages and this looks wonderful.  Way to go LA Thiots!

Our Oak Lawn Thiots
One of the things I am sad that I missed while I was gone to Tatia's house, was Miss Elie's 3rd Birthday party.  It was a 3-Rex Party at the Perot Science Museum.  Her favorite place to spend her Wednesdays.  She had lots of friends come and share the fun.  I loved the photo of the table all ready to roar and party!  Way to go Sky and Kara.  Miss Elie had a very happy birthday party!  Happy 3!
One of the old buildings in Dallas was imploded this week.  Well, it was supposed to have all fallen down, but with Elie close by, she caught it!!!!!  Great picture Sky!  It is supposed to fall the rest of the way down later this week.

We Plano Thiots
Last Sunday morning was the blessing day for our two newest family members.  I'm so glad Dick and I could be there to share this very special day with therm.  Jakes parents were there too and lots of others in spirit were with us.  What a great day it was.  Jake gave them both beautiful names and blessings.  Simon Wylly Grange who shares Dick's middle name, and Grace Elizabeth Grange who shares her Great Grandma's middle name.  Special names for two very special babies.  we feel so blessed to have them in our family.  Dick returned home on Monday afternoon and I came early Wednesday morning.  It was great to be there and it's good to be home again too.  Sure love ya'll, Robynn

Have a Super Sunday!

Our Mansfield Thiots
We loved celebrating Brooklyns Birthday on Monday night at Uncle Julios and the fajitas were yummy but the Chocolate Pinata!  Holy Macro, what fun.  Brooklyn was awesome at cracking it open and oh what goodness filled the tray.  Our Harper loved the strawberries and even ate the stem,  yes you read that correctly.  When your dad offers you a challenge, that girl takes it.  We loved sharing what we love about Brooklyn with her.  What a sweet tender time it was.  We loved having Kara and Elie come and missed Uncle Sky.  Thanks for inviting us Ricky and Becky!
Bumpa and Gigi Loved hanging out with these two at many parks this week.

Our Medford Granges

You may think I'm mixed up to include a photo of my Pierce and my sister Laurie in the Medford Granges spot.  Let me tell you why.  Pierce was Laurie's UBER ride to the airport and he loved getting to spend some time with her.  Laurie was on her way to Medford to be the Super Hero for this week in helping Tatia as Jake has gone back to work, and Jake's parents have returned to Washington.  She is going to be so fun.  In her bag, she may have creeper crawler molds and goop. Oh my goodness, those kids are going to love making creepy crawlers with her and every other fun and imaginable thing she can think of.  I can't wait to hear all aobut it this week.

Our Carmichael Thiots
It's been a good week in Carmichael and Friday night was Game night and Keelie's buddy from school, Elli, was invited this week to play games and have a sleepover.  Charlie has also been practicing his skills at making stickers.  I love his Keelie Crayon sticker.  Keelie is playing on an indoor soccer league this season.  What a nice field to play on during cold weather season.  Go Keelie!

Our LA/Utah Thiots
Pierce has been in Utah this week doing recruiting from the AD LAB at BYU.  He loves going and loves meeting all these talented kids and loves trying to talk them into heading to LA!  He got to meet up with our friend Cera Pack who we've known since she was a baby.  Pierce said she is amazing!  While Pierce was away, Stacy kept the home fires burning and even hosted a Lemonade Stand with the kids.  Adelaide did some amazing sign spinning to attract lots of customers.  I wish I knew how to share videos.  WOWSERS!!!  Then on Saturday, everyone was missing Pierce so, they loaded up the van and headed to the Funnest Place on Earth, Disneyland!  Stacy, you are amazing to do that on your own.  I love the picture of how the kids hold popcorn.  Look carefully at the top photo.  Very clever!  Glad Pierce got home last night.  Thanks for Ubering Laurie! I love that Pierce, Lani, Krista, Matt, Hailey, Aida and Sophie met up at the Texas Roadhouse for dinner.  Pierce loves getting to see our big family while he is in town.

Kara was thrilled with her fottune cookie fortune.  It came true the very next day!

Our Oak Lawn/Peru Thiots
As you can tell from the last photo here, Skyler is home!  What started out as a quick week end trip to Peru, ended up being a week long adventure.  Airline tickets, and broken airplane seats made for an extended stay in the airports.  Not quite the fun you might imagine.  But, we are glad he is home and Miss Elie is delighted to have her buddy back in town.  It was fun to have her at our house but her dad knows how to have fun.  You will not find grammy driving you down the stairs on a crib mattress EVER!!!.  We stick to play dough making and crayon melting, heart making and Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood watching.  I believe I have now seen them ALL!

We Plano Thiots
Dick spent Saturday at his new office and said it's now ready for me to come and look.  I can't wait.  He hefted lots of treasures up to the attic and he is pleased with how it looks.  Sky from across the world, made him a change of address card which turned out real snappy.
We got the nicest little box in the mail this week, with TWO Wooden blocks, the letter S and the letter G.  Our dear friends Bill and Mary Martin, have gifted us with a block for each of our grandchildren as they have been born.  I'm sure when they started this tradition with Brooklyn, 13 years ago,  they had no idea how many grands we would be blessed with.  It has been the funnest thing and Dick and I had a ball on Friday night playing Scrabble with the letters.  We came up with some pretty fun words, but my favorite was Bake Shop.  Mary Martin could easily open her own Bake Shop.  She is such a talented baker and I was often blessed when she baked.  She was my back door neighbor and I love her.  She has moved twice since being my neighbor, but has been so good to keep up with our crazy family.
I want to share this picture with you too.  This is my cousin Michelle, Aunt Marie and Uncle Marcel's daughter.  She lives in Boise, Idaho now with her mama and with our cousin Kim.  This new baby was born this week and I don't think I have every in  my life seen a happier face on Michelle than this of her holding this sweet new baby.  Michelle has some learning delays but there is something she has always loved and that is babies.  She will never have babies of her own, but I am so glad this little angel does not live far from her and I hope she will have many blessed hours to get to hold her and love Brynnley often
This darling birth announcement came in the  mail this week.  My nephew Jordan and his wife Jamie added a beautiful baby girl to their family.  Savannah is such a pretty name and such a little doll. Dick's family settled in Savannah, Georgia many years ago and it's so fun to have a Savannah in our big family.  She's darling!

Speaking of dolls, I had to share this.  When Sky came home from his mission to Russia, he brought home this beautiful matchisca doll.  She has 9 little dolls inside of her.  All of my little granddaughters have loved playing with her and miss Elie is  now big enough.  She loves to take them apart and then put them back together.  It made me smile.  There were many things that made me smile this week.  You are one of them.  Sure love you all, Robynn
I promised Simon when I came back I would have his blanket done.  Hurry Grammy Hurry!

I've been working on Miss Gracie's baby blanket.  Grammy you are slowing down.

The sun was setting as I filled my car up with gas last night.  Last tank I have to pump myself for a few weeks.  I'm off to Oregon where they pump your gas for you.   Yippee!
Miss Penny was nominated for the January 3rd Grade Student of the Month at Lone Pine Elementary!  Go Penny!
