Our Mansfield Thiots
I had a fun Tuesday afternoon with our Mansfield Thiot girls. Miss Elie and I were able to go pick them up from school and with Addison and Brooklyn navigating, we found a 7-11 for a slurpie. It was a nice warm day and they tasted really good. We even stopped at McDonald's for some fries to go with our Slurpee. Miss Elie is a french fry lover and that was fun. Then we came back and made some cup cake wrapper flowers. They turned out gorgeous and even though we had made them last year, everyone loved making them again. What fun Tuesdays are in Mansfield. I love where you live girls!

With all the chilly and raining days that Virginia has had this month, it has brought some glorious Dogwood tree blossoms. Jake and Tatia have a huge tree right outside the children's bedroom windows that is amazing. On Saturday, they took some pictures of the kids in the front yard in front of the dogwood blossoms. It was so fun to get a picture of them and see their cute house. I have loved where they have spent the past five years, in Charlottesville, Virginia. I have been blessed to visit many times. They are starting the packing up process to move west this summer.
Our Carmichael Thiots
Keelie's birthday party was even more fun they she imagined. The weather was perfect for a back yard movie night and she had many friends come. They all loved the Worlds Greatest Showman and popcorn and treats and birthday cake. Charlie did a great job of hosting Keelie's party and I was so happy for Keelie. Charlie's work in the back yard the past few weekends helped make it look perfect for the party. We love where you live! Callum took some great pictures for us and I loved the ones that he was in too. While we were busy at a service event Saturday morning, Callum face-timed with Dick and Dick loved getting to visit with them.
Our LA Thiots
Adelaide has started back to swimming lessons this week. She is such a great swimmer, a real live mermaid I do believe. When I visited with them on Friday night, they were heading over to Adelaide's friend from CTR-4's , Scouts home to go for a swim. We love that Scout has a pool and is so kind to invite them for a swim and some good practice for her swim class. Our sweet Jackson boy loves the water too and I'm sure he will also be another great Thiot Swimmer. I'm getting excited for their visit the end of May. I love where you live LA Thiot's, I wish it was a bit closer to Dallas.
Our Downtown Thiots
I heard that Sky and Kara and Elie got to go to a Ranger Baseball game last weekend. What fun to have the Rangers play not to far from where they live and close to Elie's other grandparents. I love where you live downtown Thiots. I just wish I was not a chicken driving downtown. I loved my time with Elie on Tuesday. She is starting to talk and if only she had her own translater, we could have such fun conversations. Actually, we do have fun conversastions. I love to hear her voice and she is so good. She remembers what we did the last time she came and wants to do it again. She loves having tubbies in my bath tub, riding clipclop and she loves my play phone and makes a lot of phone calls. What a dear little girl!

Dick spent the week in Destin, Florida at the Spectrum Annual Conference. He had 4 presentations that he made and said the last one was the very best. Sometimes last the best of all the game is true. He met some good new possible customers and came home excited that one lives in New Zealand. He wouldn't mind a bit going there for a customer visit. He loves where they live. It's good to have him back home.
Our Stake participates in a program called "Love Where You Live". It's sponsored by the city of Plano and helps neighborhoods who need some extra help with their yard and home. Our stake had 3 homes on a street named Tarkio. It was not too far from our home when we first moved to Plano 35 years ago. During the week, they painted the homes, trimmed trees and helped make the yards look better as well as giving the families a new mailbox which looked really nice. We had about 20 ward members come to help on the home we worked on and in 2 1/2 hours, it was quite a transformation. I kind of wanted to take them all back to my house and see what miracles we could work here. Many hands made a big difference. The family we helped were so appreciative and happy. My favorite part was we trimmed a tall boxwood hedge and I got to bring home some clippings to try to make a boxwood wreath. No photos yet, he he he. I do love where we live. I hope you do too. Have a wonderful week. SLY Robynn
