Our Mansfield Thiots
Brooklyn woke up Tuesday morning not feeling quite right. She thought she was good to go to school and off she went. The school called at lunch time and Ricky took her breathing machine to school for a treatment. It didn't get her oxygen levels up high enough and Ricky took her home. All afternoon she didn't feel much better and so he took her to Instacare. Just like in January, they couldn't get her levels high enough and sent her to Cooks Children's hospital. Once again she was admitted and spent a long night and all the next day there. They let her come home at about 6:00 pm and we are so grateful that she is doing better. Both Harper and Addison had a sick day on wednesday too. They were both running fevers and had tummy troubles. I was grateful I could be there with them while Ricky and Becky were with Brooklyn. They have changed Brooklyn's treatment schedule and hopefully, it will be better at keeping that sweet little gal feeling better. Brooklyn's Birthday fish who she named Sir Fish Alot, passed away this week. We will miss that pretty red fish.
Our Charlottesville Granges
Oscar celebrated turning one by going to his One Year Old check up the day after his birthday. They gave him four immunizations which have left him feeling crummy for the rest of the week. He also had two new teeth come in this week which doesn't help in feeling well either. He has had lots of time on his mommy's lap which he has helped. I hope he wakes up today feeling better. The Granges took a day trip to see the beautiful Cherry Blossems in Washington DC. They've been teaching Penny and Max about how Japan gave Washington DC those beautiful trees many years ago and they all loved seeing them. Today for Easter Sunday they are having Aunt Linda and Cousin Drew as well as their good friend Gerry join them. What fun!

Our L.A. Thiots
While Pierce is hosting Charlie's family at his house, Stacy and Adelaide are in Texas. They have enjoyed having Oma and Opa time at Stacy's parents. We loved getting to see them last weekend. That sweet little Lady is so dear to me. It was wonderful. Lady and I planted some Easter Grass and she has enjoyed watering it and watching it grow this week. I have loved watching mine grow too and it was fun to see Brooklyn, Addison and Harper's Easter grass growing well too. Stacy leaves to go home on Monday, I'm sure Pierce will be happy to have her home. When Stacy planned her trip, she thought Pierce's travel would be while she was gone, but that didn't happen. Oh well, I'm so glad Stacy and Adelaide got to come anyway. You two sure bring that California Sunshine with you when you come.
Our Dallas Thiots
I had a funny encounter with our Dallas Thiots this week. Kara's new bike needed an adjustment on her new birthday bike so it needed a trip to the bike shop. Unfortunately, a small car doesn't really fit a bike, so Sky had asked to borrow my Tahoe which would easily hold a bike. So here is what happened. I arrived at the temple on Friday morning at 5:30 am. Sometime between then and when I got off at 12:30, he came and borrowed my car, went home and got Kara's bike, took it to the bike shop, got the brakes adjusted and returned the bike back home and returned my car back to me. When I came out it was in a different parking place and Sky had left me a message of where he had left it. I'm glad I could be a helper even though I didn't get to see either of you this week. It felt like a little connection. They were invited to Kara's family for Easter today. We will miss them but know we have to share.
We Plano Thiots
Dick left early Monday morning for a week in Salt Lake working. It was a bonus to have Charlie, Callum and Keelie there too. It made working away from home much better than usual. He loved getting to see them and go skiing with them too. I'm always glad when Friday night comes and I get to go pick up that good man at the airport and have him home.
We had a crazy thunder storm on Wednesday night. It brought not only a beautiful lightening show and lots of booming thunder but a hail storm like I've never witnessed before. Oh my goodness, I've got three of those hail stones in my freezer. We've had roofers stopping by and calling to come and inspect our roof for damage. I think storms like that are great news for Roofers. Nobody else, but them. Rocky and I were a little nervous with home alone and we were sure glad that it was a quick storm and passed over fast.
On Thursday night, my sweet niece Cierra gave birth to sweet Jack Riley. He came three weeks early but is doing really well. I loved that Lani and Grandpa Great were able to go visit him Friday night and sent me a picture. What a beautiful little baby boy he is. Lucy is quite smitten already and loved getting to have a sleep over with Aunt Lani. In our family since my mom is now in heaven, we have added four new baby boys with two more due to arrive this spring/summer. She is trying hard to even out our girls and boys. Eighteen girls to Nine Boys. Way to go Mom!
Good Friday was extra meaningful serving in the Temple this week. We were so very busy that it really kept us on our toes to meet the needs of so many who attended. I wish it was like that every week.
I loved watching the Women's Broadcast of General Conference last night. I recorded it and I'm listening again while typing the Thiot Times right now. Those talks about reaching outside of our selves to help others were so very very inspiring. I know there is much more I could do and I want to try to listen to those promptings and act on them.
I hope you have had a nice week and that you will enjoy this beautiful Easter Sunday. He is Risen! and we can be too. I love my Savior and I love you. SLY Robynn
