Monday morning brought the arrival of a sweet new baby girl to Becky's brother and his wife. Little Reegan Elaine was born and the girls are delighted to have a new baby girl cousin. She is the first cousin on Becky's side of the family. She shares her middle name with her Nana, Becky's mom is Diane Elaine. We love that name. Ricky and Becky are excited to get to go meet her later in May.
Addison had her next to the last Soccer game on Saturday afternoon and Dick and I were lucky enough to get to attend. She did great and it was fun to cheer her on to a WIN! It was fun to see Brooklyn and Harper too and I loved playing, Grammy, What's in your bag with Miss Harper. Speaking of Miss Harper, she was so proud to be sporting her Big Girl Panties. We are all delighted that she is on the Potty Train! Go Harper!
Our Charlottesville Granges
Saturday morning brought the departure of Jake's sweet Grandmother,Betty Hall Grange. She met Jakes Grandfather James Stuart Grange when he was serving in the 101 Airborne in World War II. He always said he was swept of his feet by a beautiful cadet nurse whom he later married. This beautiful picture was taken of her at Tatia and Jake's wedding. She has been in failing health for the past couple of years and I'm sure she put a smile on her husbands face, Grandpa Grange, when she arrived in heaven. Grandpa Grange passed away almost six years ago and I'm sure has been missing her. Later this week, Jake will fly home to Washington to honor her at her funeral. She will surely be missed.

Charlie, Keelie and Callum had a wonderful adventure on Saturday participating in the Mormon Helping Hands Project. They loved getting to help clean up the area along the riverside and are looking forward to spending some time there later this summer when it warms up a bit. They are great workers just like their dad. Way to go Keelie and Callum!
It must have been a super busy week in California for Pierce, Stacy and Adelaide. I haven't heard from them and hope all is well. Dick got a picture of Adelaide in the blue bonnets that Stacy took while she was in town earlier this month. The blue bonnets are a wonderful tradition that Lady Bird Johnson started to beutify Texas. What a beautiful site they are and so fun to have photos taken in too. What a cutie you are in those bluebonnets Adelaide!

Skyler is batching it this weekend while Kara has a getaway in Orlando, Florida. She found some sweet airline tickets and took a friend to Florida where they are having a great time. Sky couldn't get any vacation time and Kara was about to loose her four days so off she went. I can't wait to hear all about it. Earlier this week she joined her sister and friend and went to see The Sound Of Music on the big screen for it's 50th anniversary. I can't believe I was seven when that movie came out. I think I would love to see it in the theatre again too. What fun. I'm looking forward to seeing Skyler this afternoon. He's coming for dinner. Yahoo!

Dick has had a busy week and is preparing to teach the Temple Preparation Course which starts today and continues for the next few weeks. What a great reminder it has been to look over those lessons and study them to realize the tremendous blessings that the temple brings to our lives. Our temple is closed for Spring Cleaning for two weeks and it makes me miss it knowing we can't be there. I must admit, I have not missed waking up quite so early on Friday mornings.
Dick and I both enjoyed getting to go to Mansfield on Saturday afternoon. Friday night there was a huge storm that made us wonder if the soccer field would have been under water on Saturday. It's amazing how quickly those big storms arrive and then depart. We were so blessed to not had any damage. I hope your week has been filled with blessings. SLY Robynn
