Randoms

I've noticed my desktop is getting quite full on my computer. So, I uploaded random pics that I had downloaded from my phone. In no particular order, rhyme or reason...I give you,

Jonah and Jasper...Fun with tape - You can't tell me they don't look distinguished in their staches.

Jasper & Jonah before "Thomas Day Out" that grandma and grandpa took them to.
5 year "well baby visits" even thought they are no longer babies...sniff, sniff. Jonah had gone about a month earlier because he had to have an asthma recheck as well. Here is Isabel playing doctor with Jasper. For the record, Izzy weighs the most & is the tallest.

In their cute tiger gowns

Jasper reminded me of Tom Cruise from Risky Business

Jas and Chewy, my sister's dog

Wedding Day! Isabel told me she was marrying the boys. Jasper looks lovely in his tank top attire while Jonah is sporting Super Mario Pj's and Elton John type glasses.

My girlie girl

Isabel is, by far, on of the girliest girls I've seen. Do I love it? You bet! I've always loved makeup and hair and she's the same way. She wants to wear dresses all the time and parades in front of the full length mirror admiring herself and her dance moves and signing skills. I pierced her ears last week. "I" did! She had them done when she was 2 years old and one got infected so I took them out. I've asked her over the last few years if she wanted them done and she said, no.

Then last week she asked me if she could get them done. We went to Walmart and they couldn't do it because their must be two people (one on each ear). Plus, the lady seemed unsure and a tad bit shady. So we left and drove over to Sally's. I picked up a 2 pack of disposable ear piercing gadgets. I've used them before on people so I figured, why not! I think Nate was a little apprehensive about me piercing our daughter's ears. But I did it and she did great! She only cried a little bit on the first ear. After that, it was cake.

Here are some pictures from a couple months ago that I took (no earrings in these)

Leo is his name

A few weeks ago I became a foster parent to a monkey named, Leo. Leo came from my online friend, Deb. Deb lives in North Carolina and has a great blog that I frequent daily...www.mccormickmadness.com.

I "met" Deb online roughly about 5 years ago. She and I became great friends over the Internet. We have one huge thing in common. She has 5 year old triplets as well...2 boys and 1 girl. Luke, Wade and Zoe are absolutely adorable and they always seem to be going through the same phase/quirks, what have you, the same time as my three. Deb's kiddos don't stop there. She actually has 2 grown children (a son and daughter) AND a another baby, Olivia, who isn't much younger than the trips. Talk about Superwoman!

So Deb decided to have foster parents to Leo. Anyone who followed her blog and wanted to be in on the adventure was welcome to it! Leo started in North Carolina with Deb and then went to Canada. I received him from Canada and will now send him on to his next destination. It's a pretty cool idea if you ask me.

The following pictures are of Leo, here in good ol' Indiana. Let me tell you, there isn't much, at all, in my town. But, Leo went about us with our daily routines.

The first night he arrived, we had a lovely dinner of cereal ;)

He did get to experience the kiddos turning 5! Here he is with Jonah on his new bike he got for his birthday.

And I hate to break the news to you this way, Deb. But, Leo got married while he was here. This is him kissing his new bride, Baby. Isabel informed me they were married then.

Most of our summer afternoons have been spent swimming at my dad and step-mom's house.

Here he is with my nephew, Nick.

Several of our mornings are spent in my brother's donut shop...Jack's Donuts. I think Leo liked all of the donuts, much like myself. Here he is hanging out while my dad prepares dough.

Here he is with the kiddos enjoying their donuts and milk.

I took Leo with me when I took my brother and his family's photos. I will say, the Arts Park is a beautiful place.

We will miss Mr. Leo, but I know it is time for him to move on to a different part of the country and to meet other people. Thanks for letting me take part in this project, Deb!
