I always feel like, somebody's watchin me

While the kids were supposed to be napping, I unloaded a few things out of the van on Friday. I came up by the front door & noticed I was being watched. This picture is hard to see since I had to take it on my camera phone. But if you look where the circle is, you can see Iz's little face.

Fun with Ash & Caroline

Last night Ashley & I met our cousin, Caroline. for dinner. Caroline is moving..sniff, sniff. We all grew up together & our family is close. I'm sad to see her go. She currently lives an hour and a half from us but will be living around 7 hours away (I think). We had a great time & I will miss her very much. But I look forward to having a nice place to visit. She used to live in Florida for a while & we loved that!! Caroline? Have you ever thought of relocating to Hawaii?? Just a thought...ha! I love you, Marie.

Ahhh...the good ol' days! This is vintage..from 1995 at Ashley's house on campus. We had some good times there. Please note: Caroline & I do have cigarettes in our hand, but they are not lit. Now, the beer..I can't promise that we weren't really drinking that. The cig's were from one of Ashley's roommates. Mom? I have the original picture to prove it. :)

Seriously...

Yep, we had a "Who Crapped The Crib" episode this morning. Of course Jasper was a culprit and he brought Jonah along for the ride. I went in to get them this morning & Jas had no pants or diaper on & poop everywhere. Jonah had no diaper on but his pants pulled down to his ankle's. Both diapers were in his bed. Both had poop in their beds, on their rails, on their sheets, on their feet, on their pillows, on their animals...etc! You get the picture, right?

And to top it all of...it looks as if Jonah just stuck his Willy thru the crib railing & whizzed all over the floor...THANKS GUYS!

Snack time

Yesterday's choice of snack? Golden Grahams! Do you like Izzy's cute sweatshirt? Our friends Brian & Courtaney got her & the boys some cute clothes. She HAD to wear that shirt & the hood HAD to be up or she threw a major fit.

I peed in the potty!

We've been putting the potty chair in the living room & letting the kids run naked for about 1/2 hour before bed. We sit in there & continually have them sit on the chair. No one has done anything in it yet, except for me! That's right...I've been peeing in their potty to show them how. Is that weird? I swear, if someone were to walk up & look in our front windows, they would be wondering what in the heck was going on. Here is three 2 year olds running around in their birthday suits & then their is their mama squatting on their potty chair with toilet paper in hand.

Hey! Whatever it takes...

Suri Cruise?

Me, my sister & my brother have joked about Isabel looking a little like Suri Cruise. What do you think?

Daddy-O got to experience our favorite game

WARNING: THE IMAGES YOU ARE ABOUT TO VIEW ARE PRETTY FREAKIN VILE...IF YOU HAVE A WEAK STOMACH, TURN BACK NOW! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

That's right...Nate got to experience first hand the pleasure of "Who Crapped The Crib?"

On Saturday mornings I work for my brother at the family donut shop. I work from 6 am - 11 am. Around 9:30, Nate calls the donut shop & says:

Him: Have you checked your phone?

Me: No, why? (It's generally very busy & I don't usually have time to do much)

Him: Check it

Me: ...laughing, So, Jasper pooped? He got the safety pin off? (we had safety pinned his shirt to his shorts)

Him: No, that's the worst part. He reached in & pulled the tab off one side & drug the poop down his legs onto his feet. It was so gross, Shan. I was gagging. (Which, if you know Nate, you say the word poop & he automatically gags. My dad & brother really like to get him going because they think it's so hysterical when Nate gags.)

God Bless the 2 year old stage.

I honestly don't know how I don't get the police called on me

Here's a little clippity do of Isabel having a bit of a tantrum. I'm not kidding, when this girl screams, your ears ring. Oh, and Jonah is just looking at her like, "be quiet" & Jasper is dancing (with his shades on...actually, Trevor's shades on) like nothing.

New Game

Oh the excitement! We have a new game, people. This one is called:

"Who Soaked The Sheets?"
Place your bids right now..
1. Isabel
2. Jasper
3. Jonah
Is the suspense killing you?
If you chose Jasper, than you are....
CORRECT!
Yes, it is Thursday & for the 3rd time this week, Jasper has stripped & pooped & peed his bed.
I suppose mama needs to take charge & get some darn duct tape!
In the meantime, I need to start potty training them & show the boys how to use urinals

It's that time again for...

"WHO CRAPPED THE CRIB?"

Yes, folks...it is only Wed. & we have had 2 episodes of "Who Crapped The Crib?" I think maybe we should start placing bids on this. Who knows, it could turn in to a fun game after I have cursed & cleaned the crib.
So, who's the winner today???? Any guesses?
I'll give you a hint...it is one of my kids...a triplet.
If you guessed Jasper, than you are RIGHT! Yes, for the 2nd day this week, Jasper has been the crib crapper.

A trip to Walmart

Means the kids are subjected to us putting masks/wigs, etc. on them. You will notice though, that Jonah didn't wear it. I don't think he was falling for it. Jasper, however, will let you put anything on him & then he looks so serious. Just look at him...Christian Bale better be watching out! Isabel looks like a little bat girl.

Jasper has picked up his nose blowing technique from you...

Guess What Time It Is???

It's time to play
"Who Crapped The Crib"

What's behind these doors? Is the crap in Jonah's bed, Jasper's bed or Isabel's bed?

If you guessed Jasper's bed, than you are RIGHT!!

CONGRATULATIONS....YOU'VE WON
A NEW PACK OF CRIB SHEETS!

For those of you

Who think my kids are "caged" in (as some have said...I won't mention any names, but you know who you are :-), I would like to post a few pics of what about 10 minutes can do. Granted, it isn't anything devastating. But try to imagine this & MORE all day. For those who don't know my set-up, this is the shake-down: They are "gated" off in the front room. In that room, they have all the toys you could probably imagine (a kangaroo climber..AKA..slide, big soft blocks to make forts & build things, chairs with trays so they can color, a basketball goal & lots of other misc. toys like strollers, baby's, animals, books, puzzles, etc.) PLUS the flat screen is on the wall.

I do agree that they need to be in a different environment. So, we have the option of changing the gate to where they have the front room, hallway and kitchen. The pics of what I am posting are of the kitchen. Like I said, nothing crazy disastrous but imagine if I let them roam for 12 hours a day. Oh, did I mention that there is only one of me? So the next person to tell me that "oh, your poor kids are caged in" or "oh, you are a schedule Nazi" or "oh, you don't get them out enough", will have their heart ripped out by me! Again, kidding folks...just trying to give you some insight on how it is with multiples. I will add though that I'm triply blessed for sure! I wish everyone could have this experience (and no, I'm not being sarcastic).

Now, if you'll excuse me I have to go get Jonah out of the laundry closet. I still love you all!

Friday Pics

It's been a relatively calm few days...I said relatively. The kids enjoy taking the cushions off the couch & playing on the hard part. Keep in mind that this couch is pretty used & old. Dad had it & then passed it on to Lee & Amber & now we have it. It's a sectional & I have to say, I love it. Sure it has some juice stains & cigarette burns in it (not from me) & some crumbs under the cushions...but it's good for the kids. They have learned to say, "Ewwww" when they pick up the cushion & see what treasure is hiding underneath!

A nice evening...minus the puking

I called Ashley (my sister) & asked her if we could come over tonight. I was prepared to beg her if she said, "No"....which she hasn't ever said before. I know I said the day was going okay...and it was, that is until after nap time when hell broke loose. I'm not sure what was in the air, but it was something fierce. I could barely talk to my mom on the phone because Isabel wouldn't quit screaming.

We headed to Ashley's about 5 pm. It takes a whole 2 minutes to get there. We played outside for a bit. Her neighbors have to despise us. Ash has the twin boys who are 3 1/2, Trev who is 8 & Kayla who is 9. Tonight it was the twins, Trev & my kids. Between Isabel screaming because the boys were around her & Ash & I hollering at the kids, the neighbors were probably pretty sick of hearing us all.

We went inside & hung out & Ash made grilled cheese & tater tots for us all. Oh, and I can't forget the best part...Capri Suns! Yep, my kids have never had those & they drank them up like an alcoholic on $1 beer night. Please note, I don't think they will be drinking them anymore as Jasper continually puked his out while he played. It was so pleasant (rolling my eyes). When Trevor says, "oh man, he stinks", than you know it isn't good.

I took a few pics on my camera phone so the quality isn't top notch. The one of Jasper is from when we got home. I had him on the changing table about ready to wipe him down. You can see some "stuff" on his shirt as well as the way his mouth is. I kept wondering why he was holding his mouth that way. I opened it & he had food & vomit stored in his lip (like when a person chews). I gagged immediately & so did he. As a matter of fact, I'm gagging now thinking about it.

Well...

I will just say that the last few days/weeks/months have been interesting. I love my kids more than anything. Having said that, I'm going on a sabbatical. I'm kidding...although I probably wouldn't put up a fight.

I didn't blog yesterday for fear that I may offend someone with the language that may have come out of my mouth. Wanda (my mother in-law) got to experience first hand, what I am calling, "who crapped the crib?" I walked past their door yesterday morning & heard, "rip". I knew someone took their diaper off & I even told Wanda that. After a few minutes, I decided to get them out of bed. I open the door & lo' and behold, Jasper is naked from the waist down.

I call for Wanda to come look. She says, "Jasper, did you take your diaper off?" She walks over to the bed & says, "Oh Shannon, he's pooped everywhere...I thought I smelled it." Sure enough, he had taken his diaper off & then pooped (because there wasn't a skid mark in sight on that diaper). It was on the rails of the crib, on his bedding, on his feet...ugh! So, she takes him & puts him in the bath while I get the other two up & put at the table for breakfast. It was meltdown after meltdown with Jonah & Isabel. Yesterday was bad...real bad.

Today has been okay. I decided to take a few pictures this morning. You will notice a series of shots in which Iz is posing on a chair & then Jasper decides to try to get her off of it. It goes from her ear piercing scream, to her fit on the floor & to her hurling something over the gate cause she was not a bit happy.
THE FIT

I call this, "Having triplets"
