Ruby Twos-Day

Waking up to balloons. A tradition. Did you know there's a national helium shortage?  Seriously, these were not cheap.  I'm hoping we'll be able to continue this tradition in the future.  There must be too many people with their neun und neunzig luftballoons auf irem weg zum horizont.  I probably totally botched that spelling, but did you get the reference?

The life-size Elmo was a hit.

Strapping in her baby.

A spinny toothbrush.  She totally wanted one.

"Happy birthday to me."

I made that.  I'm not crafty and I don't have tools.  It's pretty fancy of me.

Enjoying the spoils.

Happy 2nd birthday to my sweet little Ruby Kaye.  Two year-olds are the best!  She is my shadow, my singer, my dainty-dresser upper, my purse-carrying, sunglass-wearing, shoe-loving, silly ham of a darling two-year old.

4th of July Festivus

Boise Parade. Can't miss it.

Yay!  My parents live here now!

Sam and Noelle's preschool teacher.
She coaches a little drill team.

Things In July

Cherry Festival in Emmett.
I have learned a "festival" is just a fancy name for "low-end carnie fare".

See any cherries at the cherry festival?

Sam was gone to visit Grandma Woolner in Oregon for nearly a month.  So, we had a lot of girl time.

Chad earned his blue belt in BJJ--it takes a year or two depending on how many days a week you put in.  He's awesome.
