Christmas Tree

We went to Jolly Lane Greenhouse on Saturday and picked out our live tree. I wish I had my camera for the picking out process but here are some pictures of decorating:

Kerstetters to South Dakota

Lindsay, Hal and Isabella came to see us last week and we were so excited for them to come. The girls had a ton of fun. We rented a minivan so we could all ride together. It was quite the adventure getting everyone bundled up, in the van, and buckled up. Here are some pictures from our weekend.

Loving the van

Uncle Hal made a fort for Hannah

Such a cutie

Isabella loves dogs but not up close. We finally got her close--feeding Maggie an animal cracker

Sweet cousins

Snow
My mom got shirts for the girls so we could take some pictures. Do you know how hard it is to capture 3 girls under the age of 3? I think we did pretty good. I put my camera on manual so some of mine are blurry.

Chris' Birthday and such

Last Friday we began the weekend celebration of Chris' birthday. Hannah had so much fun getting ready and helping to get his gifts and cards together. She even told him what one of his gifts was as he was unwrapping it. (Guess she won't be helping me wrap Christmas presents). Chris requested a cake from this great bakery called Jerry's and then I got him an ice cream cake from Coldstone to take to Bible Study Sunday night. We had fun celebrating all weekend.

I feel like Lucy is getting so big. I can't believe that she turned 6 weeks old this week. Everyone asks me how much she weighs and I really am not sure but if I had to guess I would say around 7 1/2 pounds maybe. We will know for sure when we go for her 8 week well-visit. She is such a happy baby. We are amazed at how she can just sit and be content for long periods of time. Hannah is really enjoying being a big sister. At times, she can be too much of a help but she likes to sing to Lucy when she is crying or help put the pacifier in. I can't wait for when they can really start playing together.

I was crazy and got braces put on 9 months ago and finally got them off this week. I am very proud of the results and it was worth all the pain and embarrassment. Now I just have to endure retainers (probably forever).

Fall Fun

Our "Abby" Fairy
Of course they both wouldn't look at the same time
We had a Trunk or Treat event at our church this year. Hannah dressed up as a fairy. She wanted to be Abby from Sesame Street and when she saw this costume she thought it would work.

Going to Trunk or Treat
Hannah waiting for the "treaters"
We didn't take Hannah out for the neighborhood trick or treating. We figured she would be pretty shy so we decided to stay in. She LOVED greeting the "treaters" at the door. I thought that the scary costumes would scare her but they did not. She had a great evening.

And of course, I must put in some Lucy pictures.

Chillin' with dad--never did this with Hannah
Check out the cheeks and crazy hair
