Our 2 year old

This is something I wrote back in April so it's really outdated. I guess i'll post it so I can remember some of these things!

So it's been a while, there isn't a whole lot going on here.... ha ha

We moved in with my parents this past weekend. Things here are cozy but it has been fun and there is always someone for Zack to follow around (mainly my little brother Matt) We are so grateful to my parents for helping us out at this time and we really are happy to be here. Even though we miss our friends and old ward terribly!

Zack will be turning 2 in a week and a half. Can't believe this little big boy was so teeny when he came to this earth!

Some things about Zack lately:

*He has picked up a few new phrases, I can't and I didn't. The other night I asked him if we should go get him ready for bed and he told me "I can't", a few days ago I asked him if he wanted macaroni for lunch and he said "no, I didn't"

*He is loving his big boy bed here at Grandma's house. He sleeps in it better than his crib (always been a good sleeper). He knows how to climb into it with a step stool but hasn't dared climb out of it yet. YES!

*Zack can count to 11 and knows his ABC's and all his colors. He is a smart little thing and when he decides he likes something he embraces it to the fullest extent!

*His favorite show to watch right now is Cars, it's the only movie that he will sit through the entire thing.

*As far as toys go anything with a motor and wheels he is fascinated with. His latest obsession is Backhoes, Bulldozers, Trains, and of course cars. They are building a fire station by our church in Herriman and we went quite often to see the backhoes and bulldozers. He didn't like to touch them but he loves looking and talks about how big they are.

*You wouldn't know it but this thick little boy is so picky about food! His diet pretty much consists of Juice, most fruit, chicken nuggets, yogurt and macaroni & cheese.

*A few weeks ago Zack saw his cousin going potty on the toilet and was really interested in it so I decided to try out potty training. He did really well the first day and each time he "went" we put a sticker on the potty, he would also get a jelly bean. A few days later he started telling me "no potty, no stickers, no candy" and now it's "I can't". I know it's a little early still so we will try again in a few months.

*Zack is still very mild mannered but has a lot of energy.

*The other day after church I picked him up and he grabbed a paper that I was holding and said "oh my gosh!". This boy is hilarious!

*He has figured out that everyone is watching him and knows how to put on a good show. Whether it be physical stunts or saying funny things.
