Christmas at Grandmom and Grandad's...

So we headed to Grandmom and Grandad's house on Christmas day to spend the night one night there.  The kids all settled in for the night in 'the upper room,' watching The Nativity Story...

Grandmom (and Grandad of course) went to so much work to prepare LOTS of meals and food for us and shopping for so many gifts.  We had a wonderful time relaxing together and the kids played outside a lot.  We stayed until bedtime the next night!

Christmas Morning...

The kids were told to not wake us up before 7:00.  They came in right at 7 on the dot.

Mama was sooo tired. :)   After Geoff and I went down to get stuff turned on downstairs and we got the 'top of the stairs' picture, they got to come downstairs.  I will admit I was pretty excited this year because I knew they would all love their big gift a lot and I couldn't wait for them to see them.

 

Kendall wasn't quite sure what hers was supposed to do at first. :)

Zoe got some Fancy Feast.  She her wide open mouth?

Kendall was a sweet thing and shopped for everyone and bought each person something with her money.  She saves and saves and then spends on others, but never on herself.  She got Geoff a screwdriver set for his car...

The boys joined in and got Geoff this ipad pillow...

Kendall got me some fuzzy socks and two candles.  The darling was so smart and spotted a buy one get one free sale!  :)  Love it!

She picked this Spongebob art set for the twins.  And she got Luke and Will a big pack of baseball cards to share.

Will had seen this NC State hat at Omega sports and wanted it ever since.  He was very excited to get it.

 

We ate breakfast and hung around for a while before heading over to Grandmom and Grandad's house.

 

It was a fun Christmas morning!

Christmas Eve...

Christmas Eve was spent the way we do it every year.

 

We went to the service at our church (my mom joining us), then we ate Chinese takeout food, shared gifts with Geedi, took pictures, then the kids went to bed and we got busy working on getting everything ready for the morning.

My mom gave Bo and Noah a big popcorn tin.  It might be their best present ever.   Bo asked if they could keep it in their room.  Ha.  It would have been gone that first night for sure.

The kids all slept together in Luke and Will's room.  Will had the hardest time sleeping that night, poor guy was so excited. :)

The kids got some FUN outdoor toys to share and Luke got a new bat...

This Ezy Roller is the best.  It has not gone outside yet.  The kids love riding it around the house.  Would be awesome for an all hardwood floor downstairs.
