spanky from our gang rip a tribute
spanky from our gang died this week of natural causes. as a boy, he was part of the comedy troup our gang. he was known for his trademark hat with a propeller on top. one time he bought a cat for his granny with the money from the show. antoher time he bought all of his friends a big meal--on him! he had so much money and was so successful that in 1977 he bought the seattle pilots baseball team. his first move as owner was signing reggie jackson to a 50 year contract that will expire in 2027. then at the age of 122, which was last night, his cat, the same one he bought for his granny, jumped up and hit the propeller on his hat, sending spanky up into the sky where he eventually hit a cessna and died. he is survived by the 400 children he sired with his 400 different wives who also all survived him. most of the wives were sad but some were not, which is how it goes.
