Woodland Planter's Day Parade

Malia experienced her first parade on Saturday... yay! All of us from work particpated; the weather was hot and muggy, but it was lots of fun!

This is my friend Kristy (who is also a hygienist) and her little guy Tyler. He is one week older than Malia. Malia kept trying to steal his pacifier while he was busy checking her out! It was so much fun watching them interact. Malia is getting really good at reaching for things now and makes playing with her so much fun!

Daddy's Day!

Aaron thinks he should get to have a "Father's Week" instead of a "Father's Day." I told him too bad and fat chance! But, I did make him a fun candy graham and took him on a shopping spree on Saturday. I think it qualified as a good "Father's Weekend."

Too much craziness!

So... I know it has been a little bit since I have posted anything, but boy have we been busy like C-R-A-Z-Y!!! For starters, work has been keeping us quite occupied as it seems like the season for crappy drivers and yucky mouths. When it's not work that has us busy, we've been dealing with lots of wierd (and sometimes stinky) workers that have come to the house to take care of necessary repairs that are covered under our one-year home warranty. In our extra spare time, (after bath-times, diaper changes, feedings, and burps), Aaron has been busy with various projects around the house, which in turn, has left me very busy picking up his messes :) So... there you go... we are busy, busy, busy! But, with all that said... nothing takes away the pressures of life like a smile and giggle from our little sweetheart!
This isn't the most attractive picture of Malia... but I just can't get over how beautiful her eyes are. Oh! That reminds me! We just went and got her 4mo. pictures taken. Malia did so well and smiled a whole bunch! As soon as the photographer posts the pictures online, I will put a link up so that you can see them.

Aaron doesn' t like these adorable socks that look like Ballerina shoes, so to emphasize the fact, he had to make her look as silly as possible by pulling her pants up to her underarms! It's always a suprise what Malia will be wearing when I come home from work, but hey, at least she has clothes on and a diaper on the right way!

Malia just won't stop getting bigger! We decided that since she likes to look around so much, it was time to let her face "out" on our walks around the neighborhood. It was perfect though... since she spent so much time holding her head up, she was nice and tired and ready for a long nap when we got home!

To play, or not to play...

Today was the first day Malia tried out her Excer-Saucer! At first she didn't want to give up her favorite toy (her hand), but after a little bit, she warmed up and reached out for the toys. She hasn't quite learned how to grasp them, but she does give 'em a good wack or two!

Malia giggles!

This is not a great video of Malia, but her cute little giggle is priceless! Her laughs have been sporadic and random, and mostly just before she cries from tiredness. But, with each passing day, she suprises us with more big smiles and giggles!
