Book Addicts, are you excited about this? The Mortal Instruments, City of Bones will be in theaters August 23, 2013!

Yes, we cannot wait either. Because of this we have not done yet a Mortal Instruments review yet. We do not want to spoil you, guys. Although we love to do spoilers.

For those who do not know what the big fuss is all about, we are gonna tell you what you need to know.

13 to Life is a YA paranormal romance novel that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This is the first book of 5 of the 13 to Life series. You know we really like books that involve love triangles…guess what? This book doesn’t have a love triangle, it has a “love square” YEY!! (We are gonna have so much going on here).

So now, let us introduce you the main characters of this amazing book of Shannon Delany.

Jessica is the female main character in this story; her mother has recently died in an awful car accident, caused by someone close to her. She has a crush for Derek, who is the popular guy and the running back for the football team of Junction High, Ohh!! and is dating (tan tan tan tan! *drum roll*) a cheerleader called Jenny (surprised? Not so much).

Pietr Rusakova is new in town; he is part Russian part American, very good looking and the new interest of all the girls in Junction high. Pietr has a secret, a big one, something's going on in his family, but he’s not willing to tell anyone.

At first, Jessica didn’t like Pietr, because of Derek, of course. Bzut then… something unexpected happens and she starts to have strong feeling for Pietr. Suddenly in a turn of events, she starts to date him in secret, because he is officially dating Sarah--Jessica’s friend who has recently recovered from an accident--. Don’t call her anything yet, Jessica forced Pietr to date Sarah because her almost best friend is in love with him and Jessica doesn’t want her to get hurt.

Every time Jessica is with Pietr--the hottie Russian guy--some strange things happen. And when she hears a Skype call she’s not suppose to (busybody alert!), she now can tell something in Pietr’s life is wrong and she’s determined to find out.

We liked reading 13 to Life part because it involved love-problem situations and part because we were anxious to know what is Pietr and what’s wrong with him (we didn’t notice anything wrong!), we had to read almost until the end to know for sure.

So, book addicts we encourage you to read one of the incredible novels of Shannon Delany. We assure you book addicts that you won’t regret it! And that's why we are going to give this book 4 gorjuss doll and a half!

Movie Trailers

Oh. My. God, Book Addicts! We feel the need to weep!!
When we saw the trailer of Catching Fire we were cheering, jumping and screaming.

But then we remembered the date and the cheering and the jump stopped and it was all about screaming. Then we cried and then we entered in a depression mode.

But when we were ourselves again (not entirely) we thought about the things that are gonna make this film awesome.

We appreciate the directors idea to preserve the essence of the book (insert big reverence here) and we are dying to see our beloved Jennifer Lawrence become the spirit of the rebellion. We just love this girl. We think is a cute, funny, approachable and normal. We think of actresses and we imagine someone that, if you have not seen before, you may as well think he or she does not exist. But we do not have this impression with our mockinjay. It is a girl you could be friends with or happen to study with. So for not being so actress-extraterrestrial you have our five gorjuss dolls, Jennifer! Thank you!

Leaving that issue that was burning in our chest for a long time now, we will se our little Prim becoming a woman. She becomes more adult and stops crying to become more wiser and a person you would, for sure, ask for advice. We are thrilled with her.

We were not wanting to see this scene, because we are team Peaniss for ever (Peeta + Katniss) but we have to talk about it. Our not so beloved Gale Hawthorne incarnated by our spunky Liam Hemsworth.

Although we do not like that Katniss flirts (a lot!) with this guy, it is also true that the scene where Gale is punish was heartbreaking. We were relieved to see Katniss standing up for him (phew!). As long as we do not see Liam Hemsworth cry, Katniss can do whatever she wants! Except kiss and do dirty things with him, of course.

However... Where the ****** were The 75th Hunger Games? we were expecting more action from that! This has only one word: Torture. But we are not going to scream more because we trust the director and know that he's gonna nail it.

Meet Theia Alderson, a normal teenage girl who lives in Serendipity Falls. We bet you cannot say that you have seen a burning man fall out of the sky, did you? Well, our main character did. At first she didn't believe what her eyes saw, but the next morning there's a huge scorch mark on her lawn when the man landed.

Since then, everything changes. There's a shift in the air announcing the unavoidable evil lurking Serendipity Falls. It all gets even weirder when Theia dreams with a beautiful boy at a skeletons party where they are serenaded by faceless musicians. However, the most shocking part of all is when she meets her beautiful dream-boy.

It is obvious that cannot be a coincidence, but what does this boy want?

Well, we can tell for sure how the boy is. Handsome and charming with girls (although not with our Theia) and Theia cannot make herself stop thinking about him.

We can assure you that there's going to be a lot of love-hate in this relationship. A thing we love!

First, we have to introduce Under, where Theia meets with our dream-boy called Haden. It's all so dark and twisted that we were crept a little bit, but it was stunning. Everything is perfectly detailed without leaving the sinister notes of Under. I mean, Theia was serenaded by faceless musicians and went to a party where all the guests were skeletons.

We have to underline the fact that is an easy read to deal with and it will capture you, book addicts, in a blink. And we are sorry, relieved, glad to say that you won't find a love triangle here. Although we like love triangles a lot, this book wouldn't be the same with it. We think that our beloved couple has enough problems without a third party interfering.

Although we totally fell for our main couple, we were a little bit disappointed in things like Haden calling Theia lamb like in Twlight or the fact that their attraction is kind of weird.

Why the last thing? Well, Theia is attracted to him based on a couple of emotions that she feels the first time she sees Haden. And we know that he was spying on her for a while and that he's a douchebag sometimes. Although it is cute that he was trying to protect her by pushing her away (surprise!). Furthermore, Theia is constantly a twirl of emotions and acts in consequence, although she barely knows him, because, of course, our hero lover is always being mysterious and cryptic.

About the love scenes we have to remark that are excellent and there is a lot of sexual tension going on there. So, maybe, you have to read this parts of the book really slow (wink).

To bring the last piece of negativity on this book, because we really like it, the final happened really quick. A lot of decision were made without thinking and we have to almost to a list to keep track of the changes that were happening.

Beside that, the end of the story provides a radical twist that gets things going and gives the author the opportunity of having a second book.

You would get hooked in this twisted and supernatural love story if you cannot live without hate-love stories!

And because we have spoke a little bit dirty about this book, we leave you know with a quote, selected for us, that we thing you are going to like:

"This isn't a crush; it's obsession. You are never not in my thoughts. Your scent carries across a room and paralyzes me with longing. I don't want to hold your hand. Part of me wants to set you on fire and hold you while the flame consumes us both, to eat your heart so I know that only I possess it entirely"

Creepy much? Yes, But hey, we are dealing with supernatural here. Maybe that is the sweetest thing ever!

We liked this book, but it has some  tiny stuff that didn't make the book as wonderful as it could have been, that's why we'd give it 3 Gorjuss doll and a half! But that does not mean it is not a wonderful book!
