After a long absence, I have decided to start posting again. I just couldn't stand looking at my awful blog without a fun background, honestly, it made me a bit depressed. So, if I some how fixed it, WOW, if someone else fixed it for me...THANK YOU!
My brother Peter, Madeleine and I were in Michigan last week for my dad's retirement party, which we surprised him for. We were to arrive Thursday night but since flying up there is always an adventure we of course missed our flight. It actually worked out well because Peter and I each were given our own room and $25 in food vouchers. Say what you will about the airlines these days, I was very thankful for what they did...especially with a 4 month old in tow.
It was such a great weekend! We of course made my dad cry then partied all night at his shin-dig...with 150 of his closest friends (you can see some pics from my cousin Holly's blog). The low temps for the weekend were 10 below and the high was roughly 10 above, although that may be pushing it.
It's amazing to see how much different Baby is these days, here hands are still the BEST things in the world, but her feet are a close second! And because we're bad parents and don't do "tummy time" it'd doubtful she'll roll from front to back, but she almost has back to front!! Oh, MarKey,
thank you; Macie, our nanny, has been trying your sleeping trick with Baby...night and day difference!!!!!!!
Mark and I started something new this week, "No TV Thursdays." We figured we were spending too much time staring at the TV and not enough time talking and playing with Baby and Kitty. It went really well this week! If you're wondering why Thursday was picked it secretly because there are no good shows on that night....how sad, I know:-/
Our family and the golf cart my mom bought my dad.
Madeleine and Renee, my Maid of Honor, in Las Vegas a couple weeks back.
Peter is so good with her now!!!
Madeleine and her tutu which Macie made.
