Our little puppies are getting so big! And now it's time to sell them off to new loving homes. So sad. (for us anyway) But such is the circle of life...err, something like that. It was my idea to put the bows on them as a marketing ploy to sell them. Who doesn't want a pure bread AKC registered mastiff puppy with a Christmas bow?? Ha ha. They sure are cute. I'm not even going to say how much they cost because its outrageous how much these guys go for. Keeping all 5 puppies on the blanket long enough to take a picture was quite the scene. It was almost like trying to keep children still long enough to take a picture...hmmmm....vaguely familiar. :)
PS. The puppy on the far right in the picture of all five pups, was my favorite. He is pictured above and he held this pathetic pose the entire time. Like he was the saddest thing alive. Cheer up little pup! You have a Christmas bow on!!!!!

Be Kind.
I have been thinking a lot about this thought provoking quote that says "Be kind for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle" I like how it says "EVERYONE you meet." not "SOME people you meet". I have been dwelling on this quote for the last week and decided to share my thoughts. It really makes you think about every ones different circumstances. Everyone has something going on in their lives that is difficult. Some more than others but who are we to judge what is difficult for someone? You meet and interact with people everyday, but have you ever thought to yourself, "I wonder what trials this person is facing today?" I know I rarely think about that. But if you do start to think about that more often it really helps you put things into perspective. It helps me try to be kind to everyone despite their mood or shortcomings. It also teaches me to not only be kind but not to judge. Having gone through major trials this last year and been blatantly judged and treated downright rudely, I have seen first hand how NOT to treat people despite what you THINK you know about them. Unfortunately sometimes it takes having been treated badly to see how you want to treat others. Even if you don't know someones story, which, lets be honest, we NEVER know someones story, always assume they are fighting a hard battle and be kind. It seems so simple, yet I need to be reminded of it often. You don't know how far your kindness can take people or what it means to them. I hope I can remember this everyday and treat people with kindness and understanding. I hope I can be an example to my children and teach them these important lessons. Those are my deeeeeep thoughts for the day. :)

Halloween
Heres the recap of our Halloween! Davis was pretty funny wearing dads costume. We carved pupmkins on Sunday night, Davis was so excited to do Toy Story pumpkins....but not so excited to actually have to poke all those holes and cut it out. So mom got to carve three pumpkins!! Yay for super sore elbows and fingers! In case you can't tell, thats Buzz, Woody and Ham
And here's my cute little chicken! We've called her "chicken" since she was born because she had such skinny chicken legs, and the name just stuck. So I thought the costume was fitting.
Davis was Spiderman of course. Grandma got him his costume and he was so excited, he asked if he could wear his costume every day until Halloween.
Rylie chose to be a butterfly
And I was a witch...super last minute costume. I wasn't plannign on dressing up since there were no parties or anything to go to. Until very last minute I found out our neighborhood was doing a trunk or treat. So we went to that.
Liv was eating her candy faster than she was getting it. HE white costume was pretty multicolored by the end of the night
And of course Mario.
The kids had more fun passing out candy than getting candy! They loved having people come to our door. It was a fun night! I love Halloween!

Yet another trip to the farm. This one was a preschool field trip that we tagged along for. We took a puppy out to show all our friends, thats the ball of fur in my lap.
