some (white trash) people

We've had a few people come look at our silly dog but nobody wants him because he barks like crazy any time strangers come over, and he bites them, so of course nobody is going to want him. But last night we got a call at around 10:30 at night, which is kinda strange, from some people who wanted to come look at him. So they came over and they were...... not the most clean or well dressed people, but that's okay! Anyway, the dog barked like crazy and even nipped at their son and they decided that they wanted him anyway. So they took the dog and I was majorly relieved. I thought we would have that dog forever. BUT... we get another call at midnight.....yes midnight...who does that, seriously?? And they said that the dog would not stop barking and every time they went near him he would bite them. So they wanted to bring the dog back......my first thought.....HECK NO! You have to sell him if you want to get rid of him! SERIOUSLY!!! He's your problem now!! But my husband is nicer that me I guess and said they could bring the dog back the next day. I was rather upset, number 1 because they called us at midnight to tell us they didn't want the dog anymore, that's just rude. Number 2, they didn't even give the dog a chance to warm up to them. And number 3 now I had to get that stupid dog back!! The best part of the story is that the next morning they called my husband like 10 times starting at 7 in the morning and then came and parked in front of our house waiting for us to call them! WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE!!! I was ticked!! You don't call some one early in the morning like that. Why couldn't they just wait until we got back to them? And the wife left really rude messages on my husbands voicemail saying that they were waiting for us outside and to answer our door immediately. These people just keep getting better and better! They knew what they were getting into because we TOLD them continually what kind of dog he was! And they have to freaking nerve to treat us like we were in the wrong. I was fired up. I wanted them to come up so I could give them a piece of my angry mind. But the guy just walked up to the door and let the dog run inside and waited at the door for his money back. I didn't say anything to him only because I was really shaking mad. I can't have confrontations with people when I'm that mad because I say really mean things. I juts think that the way they handled the situation was completely uncalled for and rude. They are white trash. I'm still so upset about the whole thing and that he got his money back. I regret not saying anything to him because they need to know that they can't treat people like that. So we're still stuck with this dog and I don't know what to do. No one is ever going to want him. I should have known from thier dirty selves and yucky clothes that they were going to be so terrible. Thats what I get for trying not to judge people!!

funny things

We were going up to park city while my parents were in town and I asked Rylie if she wanted to go see grandma and pop pop up in the mountains and she said "But....we don't have a rocket ship to get us up the mountain." she was so confused as to how we would get up a mountain. Makes sense.

We were swimming the other day and Davis told me "Go in spicy pool?" Meaning the hot tub. That is so funny because he was associating "hot" with "spicy". I love it.

Today in the car Davis was playing with the locks on the door and laughing to himself and then he said "I crack myself up!" and continued to laugh to himself. It was so funny to hear such a little boy say something like that especially because he is just learning how to talk, so to hear such a clear complete sentence, and that it was a pretty hilarious sentence, made me laugh.

Big boy

He's not so sure about this. My goal is to have him potty trained by the time the baby gets here. I absolutely HATE potty training. My personal hell would be stuck potty training children. It took me an entire year to potty train Rylie. She would do really good and then decide to pee on the floor for a week straight, and then do really good, and then pee on the floor. It was mind bogglingly frustrating because I knew she knew how to do it, she just chose not to and I hated that. I tried treats, charts, singing pottys, making her sit in it, you name it. I was talking to a friend and she said when she was potty training her 3 year old daughter and she would pee in her pants she would throw her in a cold shower with her clothes on and she learned pretty quick that she doesn't choose to pee in her pants. She only did that after months and months of trying to get her to stay dry. So the thought of potty training another child isn't very appealing to me. But neither is buying two boxes of diapers at a time. So I am starting to introduce the big boy potty. He is kinda scared of it but I do some bribing with some skittles. So I got him to sit on it but he didn't pee yet. So hopefully I can get him to want to use it. And Rylie gets a treat too if she helps him go so that should help a little. I really don't want to do this but it's just the next step in childhood so I have to get ready.

Chocolate Zucchini bread

We got some huge zucchinis from our garden so I had to make zucchini bread. And what's better that zucchini bread......chocolate zucchini bread! I got this amazing recipe from my neighbor and it rocks.

Chocolate Zucchini Bread
2 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate
3 eggs
2 cups white sugar
1 cup vegetable oil
2 cups grated zucchini
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease two 9x5 inch loaf pans. In a microwave-safe bowl, microwave chocolate until melted. Stir occasionally until chocolate is smooth.
In a large bowl, combine eggs, sugar, oil, grated zucchini, vanilla and chocolate; beat well. Stir in the flour baking soda, salt and cinnamon. Fold in the chocolate chips. Pour batter into prepared loaf pans.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 70 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a loaf comes out clean.

Just FYI I add the chocolate chips to the dry ingredients so that way they don't sink to the bottom of the bread :)
To make it even more moist, add a cup of sour cream!!

Make sure you grease the pans really well, mine stuck to the bottom even after I sprayed them with Pam.

Bad omen? I think so.

So I have finally had it with our little dog. He really wasn't so bad when we first got him. I didn't even really notice him. But it has now gotten to the point that I just don't have the energy to take care him. I can barely take care of my own kids, let alone a silly dog that shreds toilette paper, dryer sheets and paper towells all over my house every day. I just don't want to. He barks like crazy too, which drives me crazy. And he's not nice to anyone who comes over. I'm tired of yelling at to him behave and we have been trying to train him ever since we got him. So we posted him on KSL and we've had a few people call on him. Today we had a cute little family come and look at him and we took him out on a walk outside and the kids were playing on the playground in front of our house and one of the kids started screaming. We looked over and he was being attacked by wasps. Like 50 of them. Poor kid! He came over and his mom took off his shirt and he must have been stung 20 or more times. They were all over his face and chest and arms. Holy crap did I feel bad. Then his mom says "I have to get him to hospital, his dad is severely allergic to stings and so I have to get him checked out." So they all jumped into the car and took off. If that's not a bad omen for them I don't know what is. So they probably will not be calling us back. I feel really bad for that little kid! But I really want this dog gone! I really doubt anyone will buy him. He growls and barks and bites anyone who comes near him that isn't us and it's really hard to explain to people that he is only like that when he first meets people and he will get better. How are they suppose to believe that? He's just and awful dog. So we'll see if anyone actually wants him.

New bikes!!

My parents are in town and they are so much fun to be with. Not only is it fun to be with them, but my mom does a great job of spoiling the kids and me. We went shopping and she bought me thee cutest new maternity clothes! What? After two August babies I need winter maternity clothes. Then they went and bought the kids bikes for their birthdays. They were so excited. Rylie has never had a bike before and of course she had to get the pink sparkly princess bike. And Davis got a red motorcycle bike and a Spiderman helmet and pads. They looked so cute out there riding their new bikes!

He's howing me his knee pads

Pinkalicious Party

We decided to throw the kids a joint birthday party. And since Davis is pretty girly we figured he wouldn't really care if we made the theme "Pinkalicious". It's a really cute book about a girl who eats to many pink cupcakes and turns pink. So I tried to copy the cupcakes in the book. It was challenging but I think they turned out pretty cute. We invited some of our neighbors from our complex. Everyone had to wear pink.

The girls made Pinkalicious crowns

Everyone who wore pink. Jamie, Mike, Me, Paul, Christine, Isabelle, Mckenna, Audry, Rylie, Davis, Kristen, Ellie, Lothar

Davis got to make a visor, but he still looks a little fruity. :) He's wearing one of Rylies pink shirts turned inside out. Yes, we were that despirite.

todays thoughts

The sickness has really been getting bad this past week. I have found that Unisom, the sleep aid does wonders for knocking me out all night and helps with nausea. I just wish I could take it during the day and sleep all day so I wouldn't have to feel so yucky. My husband has been great helping out. It is very difficult to try and go grocery shopping and plan meals for the week when everything looks so incredibly disgusting. Today for lunch I ate two, yes two, cup of noodles. I know they will give me a heart attack, have absolutely no nutritional value, and each cup has 300% of your daily value of sodium, but it's the only thing I want. Sweet, noodly, heart attack inducing, cup of noodle goodness. It's the nectar of the gods. For now anyway. DON'T JUDGE ME!! It's so hard to find things that sound good to eat. The other night I couldn't, I mean COULDN'T cook anything for dinner and my family was starving, so my kids ate fruit cups and bread and my poor husband ate chips and salsa. When I suffer, they suffer. Luckily, a haven't gained any weight yet, thanks to the Wii Fit I think. It's really fun. We'll see, in a few weeks I'll take some pictures of the belly, I don't know why those are so fun to see. When else in your life will it be okay to take a picture of your fat belly and post it for other people to look at? Maybe it's a little weird, but whenever other people post pictures of their prego bellies, I always look at them. Why? Who knows. I guess it's just fun to see how fat someone else is getting. As long as it's not yourself it doesn't really matter. :) :) :)

baby's first picture

I know right...wow....it's so impressive. It looks like a blob of nothing. But thats my little baby! The nurse said (her) heart just started beating yesterday or today, which is kinda cool. So I got to hear it. I'm just glad there is only one baby in there. And it's nice and healthy. The nurse also said that it's measuring about a week larger than it should be, and she moved my due date up 3 days. Like I've said before, I have huge babies. Its crazy that they can already tell its going to be gigantor baby. The picture below is in one of my baby books and I just thought it was cool to see a more detailed picture of whats in the ultra sound. I'm 7 1/2 weeks so its a little bigger than the 7 week picture. But that's what your looking at. Pretty interesting.

Burping...Just like dad

My husband is an incredible burper. He has taught Rylie everything she knows. It's so glamorous. I took a while to get a decent video of of it because she kept burping her big ones when I wasn't ready. This one is one of her smaller ones, but still impressive.

Rylie turns 4!!

Yesterday we celebrated Rylie's 4th birthday. We took her out to dinner and to see Ice Age in the theaters. Both were firsts for her. She loved going out to eat with mom and dad and getting all the attention. She was especially excited to go to the movies. She had never been so all day she was asking if it was time to go yet. She loved the whole experience. I can't believe she's 4!

She kinda has a hard time smiling for pictures.....

Todays thoughts

I decided to make a roast today in my crock pot and that was a bad idea. I had to smell it cooking all day so when it came time to eat it, I wanted nothing to do with it. So I will not be eating roast for the rest of this pregnancy. Guaranteed. That's frustrating for me because I can't cook anything without smelling it, which makes me not want to eat it. The only thing that makes me feel better is ice cold water. But then I just have to pee all day. Last night I peed 6 times. I heard from a friend in my ward that I should try drinking pure molasses. It's suppose to have lots of iron which will help with being so tired. She also said to drink red raspberry leaf tea to help with morning sickness. I'll give them a try and see what happens. I'm willing to try anything, this is my third time around and I still haven't figured it out. One thing that cheered me up today was while we were at the park Davis came and sat by me and said "Mom, you drive me insane." I could not stop laughing. I say that to my kids jokingly all the time so he decided it was time for a little retaliation. I'm just trying to stay positive and think of all the fun new stuff I'm going to buy. I already have a list of things I want so I'm checking KSL for them everyday. I am trying to find all the "no bull crap" baby items that are truly the best, the highest rated and highest recommended things. I have used lots of good things and lots of not so good things. We can only learn from our mistakes right? Here are a couple of items on my wishlist.

This wonder is called the Fisher Price Papasan cradle swing, starlight edition. It is suppose to be the best swing out there. It swings side to side and front to back and has a cute starlight mobile that has little stars that go in circles. And it plugs into the wall, huge plus. So adorable.

And this is called the Rain Forrest jumperoo. One of my friends had one of these when Davis was a baby and he loved it! He was entertained for hours. I highly recommend it.

And this jewel is called the Sit N Stand stroller. I have a nice jogging double stroller, but this one takes the cake. My same friend had this stroller and I swore with the next kid I would buy one. Whats great about it is one kid, usually the younger kid sits in front while the other can sit or stand in the back on the platforms. Even two kids can fit in the back. And you can put a baby car seat in the front. Its great because its not so long like regular double strollers so its easier to steer. I just love it.

And this is called a co sleeper. It sets up right up against your bed like a continuation of your own bed so you don't have to reach over the sides like you would with a bassinet or pack and play. I personally think its way more practical than a bassinet because you don't have to get out of bed, or even sit up, to get the baby. Genius.

sharing the news

I always like to know how people tell their families they are expecting. I have even googled it before. This time was pretty fun. With my mom I have actually been setting it up for the past two years. I always text her "Guess what!!" whenever I have any news to share and she always thinks I'm pregnant....every single time. And when I share the news that doesn't have anything to do with being pregnant she always laughs. So this time I knew I had to do the text thing. I texted her "Guess what!!" And told her that we had just paid off another credit card, which was true, and she was so excited for us. Then I texted "And I'm pregnant" and waited for her to call me. I waited a half hour with no phone call and finally I called her and she totally seemed all normal. So we talked for a while and I finally said, "did you not get my second text?" and she said no so I told her to go check her phone and she did and then came the total freak out. She was so excited. She just didn't see that she had another text!!! So my two year set up totally failed miserably. But it turned out pretty funny. For my in laws we waited another week to tell them because we were trying to think of some funny way to do it. I was going to send flowers to Linda with a card saying "Looking forward to meeting you in April, love baby Tao." But I didn't want to wait that long. So we ended up making a shirt for Davis that said "I'm the big brother" and took a picture of him and sent it mixed in with some other pictures of the kids and ended with a picture of my positive pregnancy test and emailed it to my mother and sister in law and waited for them to get the hint. Michele got it right away and called that evening but we had to wait all the way til the next night to get a call from Linda. She said her computer wasn't working well and was taking forever loading the pictures but eventually she got it. They both thought it was weird that we told them through an e mail but I thought it was funny. So that's how we did it this time. I just wanted to write it down so I would remember.

I forgot to say....

...when I was due in my last post. I am currently about 6 weeks along and am due in late March, early April. I don't know my exact due date because the doctors always move it up when they see how big my babies are, plus I will definaletly be induced. Davis was induced 12 days early and he was 8 1/2 lbs. So we like to get those babies out as soon as possible. So we're looking at a window of at least two weeks of possible due dates. I am seeing a new doctor, Dr. Haskett, from Legacy OBGYN. I love him, he's the cute one, :) But seriously, he's a very good doctor and makes me feel very important. The whole clinic is good. There is never anyone in the waiting room and I get called back right away. I have had all my labs done and everything is normal. It sounds weird talking about all this now seeing as I have a very long way to go, but it is nice to know. Yay, I love talking about baby stuff! So please don't get annoyed if I write lots of posts about whats going on. I like to remember it all. Sorry Kelley! Love you!

two little pink lines

My name is Andrea Tao and I am the most fertile woman alive. YES! I'm expecting our 3rd baby! We are so excited and so blessed that we can get pregnant so easy. I am very very very lucky, and I am completely aware of that. The way we found out was pretty funny. I wasn't feeling all that great for a few days but our family was passing around a weird stomach bug so I just thought I was getting sick. When I started getting sick because of strong smells I knew something might be up. And then I couldn't even take a shower without covering "the girls". I took a test and the first pink line was so faint I could barely see it so I ran over to my neighbor/ really good friends house and asked her what she thought. She said she could see the line but that I should wait a few more days and take another one. Let me remind you that I'm still about 9 days away from missing my period.....I know, I'm really impatient! So I waited a few more days and while Mikey was out getting pizza I took another one (seen above) and the first pink line came up right away. I was in shock. I just stared at the 2 pink lines for about 10 minutes. Waves of different emotions came over me and ended on total excitement. So anyway, while Michael was still out getting pizza I hurried and crafted a little banner that said "Congrats Daddy!" and taped it to our headboard. When he got home I had to wait until he went in there, and he did, several times and didn't see the sign! So I finally stood in the doorway and waiting for him to look at it. He totally didn't get it. He's like "Congrats for what? What did I do?" I just started laughing until the light bulb finally turned on and he figured it out. He was so excited! We spent the rest of the evening talking about dues dates, maternity clothes and when to tell people. I also gave him a run down of how hard this is going to be. I reminded him how sick I will get and I will never want to cook and how I will be mean, and how I will really need his help. He could not have been more supportive. He reassured me that he is ready for this and will help out as much as possible. Always a good thing to hear. I really am very excited. I'm going to try and stay as positive as possible throughout this whole experience. I'm still so shocked that the test came up positive so soon. I must have really strong HCG hormones.....or I'm having twins! No, no, lets not joke like that. We were so surprised we got pregnant so fast with all the cycts going on and everything, we didn't know how easy it was going to be. So once again we embark on this 9 month journey. I'm more prepared than I've ever been so thats a plus. So bring it on. Here we go. '

After we took these pictures he told me "I tried to look as happy as a could!"

Ps. David and Lisa, you have 1 month!!
