11/22/2010 - Northern Illinois Supercell

A late season severe weather environment generated a few supercells across northern Illinois on Monday. This quick "backyard" chase took place across northern LaSalle, southern DeKalb, and southwest Kane Counties and featured a rather lackluster-looking, tornado-warned supercell. On the way back to DeKalb via I-88, I found myself in traffic-standstill due to the supercell contributing to an accident.

An interesting feature under the wall - no confirmation of touchdown, though.
