My sweet grandpa passed away on May 5th. When I think of him I will always hear his voice saying, "think your bootiful."
Willard Snow Jensen "Bill" Willard Snow Jensen our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father surrounded by his loving family on May 5, 2010. Bill was born February 16, 1922 to Willard Clausen and May Grimshaw Jensen.Bill met Marjorie Beth Jensen, the love of his life, at Snelgrove's Ice Cream Parlor when they were in junior high school. Following their graduation from South High School they were married in the Salt Lake Temple on October 2, l942, just days before his deployment with the U. S. Coast Guard at the beginning of World War II. Bill was a protective and loving husband and father. He cherished and cared for his family always. He began his professional career at the age of 17 as a bank messenger and retired 50 years later as Executive Vice President of Continental Bank and Trust Company. Bill always enjoyed hunting, fishing and athletics. He played as a guard on the U.S. Coast Guard All-Star basketball team and as first baseman on an all church championship softball team. He especially enjoyed his time spent with family at their cabin in Island Park or frolicking in their pool at home. Bill was a dedicated and faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in many callings during his lifetime. He especially loved his time as Bishop of the Haven Ward. He had a strong testimony of his Savior Jesus Christ and looked forward to being reunited with his loved ones for eternity. Bill is survived by his wife Marjorie, four daughters, Jill (Roger) Tidwell, Jackie (Marty) Taylor, Julie (Kevin) Nourse, Jody (Gordy) Haycock, son-in-law Marshall Larson, 30 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his daughter Jan Larson, grandson Cody Haycock and sister Glenna Morris. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010, at noon in the Monument Park Stake Center, 1320 Wasatch Drive. Friends and family may visit at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350 East 1300 South, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 13, 2010, and at the stake center prior to the service, from 10:30 to 11:40. Interment at Larkin Sunset Garden, 1950 East 10600 South.

the balloon tradition got a little out of hand. we were losing balloons faster than we could write so Nanny Janny got a lot of partial messages this year:)
we did this once years ago and decided to recreate it. hopefully no one found us too irreverent spelling words with our bodies at the cemetery. we think its pretty funny.
