Gratitude from A-Z

We had an FHE on being thankful. All of us kids went on a scavenger hunt for things that we were thankful for that started with a certain letter of the alphabet.

A is for art

B is for babies

C is for candy

D is for daddy

E is for everyone

F is for frames

G is for games

H is for hats

I is for ice

J is for Jared and Jed

K is for keyboards

L is for lollipops

Oh. My. Emmy!

Life just would not be as sweet without our amazing four year old!  Emmy is a smarty pants, and she loves nothing more than her flower blankie!  In fact, our threats to take it away is one of the only ways to make her obey!!!

She is a little too clever.  She has really been struggling trying to learn how to do the first slanted line of a 'y.'  I told her that she should draw it like it was going down a slide.  Apparently, according to Emmy, that was not a good idea, because "some slides are curly, so that is why some of my lines are curvy!"

Watch out people;o). Emmy is going to take the world by storm!!!

 
 

 

We are so in love with this sweet boy!!!  Jared and I are basking in the joy of his vibrant, dynamic personality that is getting bigger and bigger each day!!!

Addie and Lexi worked hard practicing to be the best Vidia (Fairy) and Atina (Mermaid/Pirate) they could be:)!  This mommy's heart was bursting with pride while watching my two sweeties perform!  They are growing into such talented, lovely ladies!  

 
 
 

Kindergarten, Here Jed Comes!

When did he grow up this much?

This cute kindergartener, who had already stolen his mommy's heart, has already become a fave of his kindergarten teacher!

It was a pretty easy transition for him since he got to go with some of his best friends!

He also had a couple of the cutest kids sending him off and cheering him on:)

 

 ...and just like that... He was off on the bus just like the big boy he is:o)

He is Officially Part of the Family

Taj is getting bigger and is getting to be way more entertained and entertaining😘

Sadly, his papasan days are over, since he is getting too big and wiggly to have it be safe!

His eating rice cereal days are over, or really just postponed for a few weeks, too, since he cried as if he was being tortured when we tried feeding it to him.  I am talking the head thrown back with full on gator tears kind of crying😭😭😭😭😭.  

Poor boy;...how dare we try to feed you!!!
