Emma had a play at school for second grade. She was a monarch butterfly. My mom took a pair of old fairy wings that had fallen apart, and made them into these beautiful wings. It's a good thing Emma has Grandma, because I can't sew! My Family came to see her at the play and supported her! Thanks Fam!

Daddy Daughter Dance

Emma had been looking forward to this since Zack went to the "It's great to be Eight!" presentation in January 2006!
She was listening to Sis. Butler talk about Activity Day girls and the fun things
they do together. That they always have a Daddy daughter date night and dance.
Since she started activity days in January of this year. She has been asking me daily when the Daddy daughter dance was. Luckily it was in February!
Emma looked so pretty. Our babysitter gave Emma some old dance costumes awhile ago. The skirt was a little long so I had my Mom alter it. She was SO excited!!

She wanted to dance all night!
Jason, literally,
dusted off his football Letterman's jacket and
he was a good Dad and he danced with his little girl!
She had a wonderful night and was so happy that her very first date
was with her first love, her Daddy!

Let's go fly a kite!

THe kids and Jason found two kites in the basement, and decided to go outside and fly them.

Emma , her future's so bright she's gotta wear shades.
Wow she really is flying high!

Zacks kite, he bought this one in honor of his hero, Steve Irwin, the "Crocodile Hunter"

Emma's Improv

This is what happens when you leave your camera lying around the house, and your kids are bored. We had no idea Emma did this. She is so quiet. It is too funny, when you know how timid Emma can be. I really don't know where she picked up the dance moves. But I will have to talk to her Dad about whacking my behind so much!

Easter - Walking the "enlightened" path.

So Zack has been "Enlightened" about things work. So this Easter, he was a little more subdued. It wasn't all about the basket for him. It was nice. He is a great kid!

Emma was very excited about Easter, we have maybe two more years of this, so we are enjoying it thoroughly!

Decorating Eggs at Aunt Boo-boo's house. ( My sister Becky) Kaden was being camera shy.

What a cheeser! My niece Kelsie is sooooo cute, maybe because she is my Blondie?!

The kids are having fun! It was a lot of fun to hang out and relax.
