A new job

I am in the middle of 2 weeks full time orientation for a new job. There is no room in my brain for anything.

I have been doing a bit of this at night.

It is all I can manage.

My trip to work is a delight 10 minutes ........ here are some of the views along the way.

While I was at Soverign Hill recently I bought myself this. I have a black bird which I have had for years but a cockie in a pie is perfect.

Some old bits and pieces I have found recently and some yummy fabric I bought at Mill Rose Cottage at Ballan Thru the red door....

This morning we were woken at 6:30am by the sounds of music. Knights was holding the Pro Body Board Competition and as we live 1 minute away it was hard to ignore.

Here are some photos taken on my few walks down to have a look at the action.

Crafty Hijinks ....... What a day

Yesterday was spent chatting with people who felt like old friends but who I had never met. That is what blogging is all about. These 2 gals did an amazing job organising a day that started out as a few and ended up with 49 crafty women getting together to sew and chat.

I have chatted to Annie Flower Garden for ages it was so nice to spend the day with her.

Here she is trying on one of Nicole's You SEW Girl lovely hats.

The girls had arranged lunch, tea, coffee, door prizes, a raffle, stalls so in all we didn't want for anything.

I had tried to bribe Jodie with this photo but in true Jodie Ric-Rac style she said there where far worse photos of her on the web. I like this snap because of Lizzie in the back ground taking a photo of the flowers on the table.

Lizzie A House in the Country is another lovely lady who I have chatted to for years but not met until this weekend. It was so good to meet these 2 ladies.

This photo sums up the day perfectly. Thank you girls for organising a great day.

To top the day off we went back to Annie's to wonder her lovely garden.

Brrrrrr is all I can say

We headed to Daylesford today, along the way we stopped at a Nursery with a maze.

To put 2 people in a maze who are never wrong could end up in divorce. I don't fear many things but being lost in a maze for ever is one, not sure why. As we wondered around ending back in the same place I was thinking we may have to sleep there(not really). When we entered we were given a sheet of questions and different things to find. My competitive nature clicked in and even if we did freeze because it was COLD I was going to answer all the questions. After an hour and my hands and feet were frozen we found the exit and fled.

Tony's hand in the back ground the wind kept blowing the flower urrrr.

Magnificent Magnolias

A lovely lunch in Daylesford and a couple of purchase from Threadneedle.com.au - Home we are now home and my feet are slowly thawing.
