Saturday started early with the dawn service.
It was cold, wet and windy but nobody was complaining, you would be stoned in the street in South Australia if you were over heard complaining about the rain.
Then it was off to "Inspired Stitches" I stopped along the way to take a photo of this fellow having his breakfast.
It was perfect weather to sit and stitch and the venue was fantastic with lots of lovely windows for us to sit and watch the wild weather outside.
Then came the hard part choosing what project to start. Some started more than one but I started
Rosalie's bag I have enough started and not finished projects. It was a great project as it was stitched all in DMC 107 so no changing of thread I could just sit and stitch and TALK.
Janelle's project was a glasses case and a note book cover....... Janelle was lovely enough to name the project Adelaide's notemaker.
Here is the lovely
Amanda and Julie working hard........ look at those windows and the gray skies outside.
It is always hard to take a good shot of
Leanne as she is always moving or talking.
Not a great shot of
Melly and
Quilty Gal the windows were good for stitching but not so good for photos.
In all it was a good weekend full of chatting and stitching.
Thanks must go to
Sarah for her hard work and organisation.
