To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

Morning all!  Today I have a vinyl project to share with you.  It's SUPER easy--my favorite kind of project!

I bought a soap dispenser at Wal-mart and cut out this cute little purple vinyl octopus using the Splish Splash Lite cartridge.  I set the width at 3.5", which made the height 2.81".  I used transfer tape to apply the vinyl, and then I then filled the container with purple liquid soap.

I love how this turned out!  I eventually want to do my bathroom using this cartridge.  Maybe some cute vinyl sea creatures on a shower curtain!

Please play along with us this week at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog!  Just make a project having anything to do with water and use at least ONE Cricut cut.  It can be a card, scrapbook layout, gift, home decor item--whatever floats your boat LOL!  Thanks for dropping by--have a wonderfully crafty week!

More Camping Pages

These are some traditional pages I made using the CTMH Timberline Scrapbooking paper and stickers, plus the Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.  I thought I'd posted these previously, but I can't find the post--maybe I deleted it by accident.

This page uses 4 x 6 Flip-Flaps from CTMH.  I thought I'd taken a pic of them flipped out, but I guess I didn't.  They're good for if you have a whole series of similar pix that you want to display.  The titles use the font from Artiste and are the negative cuts.

Thanks for taking a look!

More Pages From Our Missouri Trip

Here are some more pages from our Missouri trip using the Picture My Life cards from Close to My Heart.  This set is called Surf's Up.  The first 6 pages are from our trip to Bridal Cave, and I thought the colors went really well with the cave pix.

The first pic is the one that the cave operators take of every group to sell you at the end.  This is the cover page designed to go with the set.

This is the back of the cover page.  Haven't decided what I'm going to do with it yet...

Here are some pix of the inside of the cave and the formations.  I love caves!

I'm not sure why it's called Bridal Cave, but people actually do get married down here, in front of a lovely curtain-type formation.

It's right on the lake, and you can go down to the docks.  When you turn around, you see the big sign.

Here are some pix of us by the lake, and the last of the cave formation pix.  The one in the lower left is my favorite.  Those formations are called "soda straws", and they are so pretty and delicate.

These are some pix I got of a great blue heron at our campground.  He really showed off for us.

Random pix of our trip--just filling in slots!

The one in the lower left here is from a scenic overlook near Bridal Cave.  That gorgeous tree was right near our campsite.

Some of my favorite pix from our nature trail walk.  I'm probably going to do more with these, but for now they're in here.

I have to say, I like the Picture My Life system a lot more than I thought I would.  It's very fast, and kind of fun--like putting together a puzzle!  And I intersperse the PML pages with my traditional pages, which adds interest, in my opinion.  Most importantly, it gets the pix out there to be looked at, instead of hiding on the computer!

Thanks for dropping by today!  Have a great day!

CTMH Picture My Life--Camping at Lake of the Ozarks

Good morning all!  I took a lot of great photos on our camping trip to Lake of the Ozarks in June, and I've been working on scrapbooking them.  I've never really been too interested in the photopocket scrapbooking trend, but CTMH has a system called Picture My Life, and I thought I'd give it a try.  I ordered a set, and my friend ordered a set, and then we swapped out duplicates.  These two pages are made with the L8ter Sk8ter set.  I just love the bright blues and greens!

The cave we wanted to go to was flooded, so it was closed.  Luckily there was a really cool one-mile nature trail right there.  We got lots of great shots of wildflowers and cool fungi.

I have lots more pages that I'll save for later posts.   Thanks for dropping by today!  And if you like this set, you can order it from me--just click on the button in the upper right corner of this blog.

Happy crafting!

Summer Treats
Create a project that represents the tastes of summer

To qualify for the prize, be sure to use at least 1 Cricut cut on your project and if it's not obvious, let us know what cartridge you used.

Good morning all!  Today I have a project for you that represents a summer treat for me--strawberries!  I used the strawberry box on Spring Cottage and cut the two pieces at 4".  It makes a box big enough to hold a 2-3 pieces of candy.  You could make it fairly good-sized though--at 4" it only took up about a quarter of my mat.

The red polka dot paper is from PTI, and the green is Wild Wasabi from SU.  I embossed the leaves with a folder from QuickKutz.  The ribbon is from my stash.

The tag is die cut from the PTI Tiny Tags die, and the sentiment is stamped in SU's Pure Poppy with a stamp from My Time Made Easy by Lauren Meader.

What's your favorite summer treat?  There are so many good ones--I almost went with watermelon.  But there's ice cream, popsicles, blueberries, s'mores, cotton candy...the list goes on and on, and I'm getting hungry!  Please play along with us at FCCB--all you have to do is create a project focusing on your favorite summer treat and using at least one Cricut cut--that's all there is to it!  Then link it up to the Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog for your chance to win a fabulous stamp set from Mark's Finest Papers.  Thanks for dropping by today--have a great week!
