Good morning everyone, and yes, I know it's St. Patrick's Day, but that's never really been my kind of holiday, so I thought I'd get a head start on Easter instead. Spring is really the main thing--I think we're all ready for it! This week's sponsor is Mark's Finest Papers and Stamps!
I decided to make a shaped card using shapes from the Easter 2010 cartridge. I welded 2 5.5" scalloped egg shapes together to form the card base. For the glittery white frame, I used the same scalloped egg shape, with a slightly smaller egg shape centered inside (NOT welded) to cut out the hole in the frame. I resized the plain egg shape to be just a little larger but still smaller than the scalloped egg shape for my patterned layer. It's from SU's Watercolor Wonder DP in their Occasions Mini--isn't it the cutest? Perfect for an Easter egg!
Happy Easter is cut from the CTMH Artbooking cartridge. The bunny is 1.75" from Easter 2010, and the grass is punched with a MS border punch. The little flowers are punched with a SU punch and I added a touch of orange glitter to the centers. I put white flock on the bunny's tail, but you can hardly tell--should have done another layer!
Here's the open view. Colors are Wild Wasabi, Daffodil Delight, Pretty in Pink, Creamy Caramel, and Bashful Blue. I popped up the sentiment on foam tape. Thanks for dropping by today!
To win a fabulous stamp set from MFP, simply make a project using the color green and at least one Cricut image. If it isn't obvious, let us know what cartridge it's from! Then upload it to Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog--that's all there is to it!
Thanks for dropping by today, and I hope it's spring wherever you are!
