CPS sketch #104, SCA3A
This card is for CPS sketch challenge # 104 and SCA3A. I stamped the branch from Out On A Limb by PTI in Palette Burnt Umber (aka Perfect Match Dark Chocolate) on Sweet Blush CS, followed by the flower pattern from OOAL in Berry Sorbet. Centers of flowers are dots of pink Stickles. Small butterfly from Butterfly Kisses stamped in Sweet Blush on SB CS, outlined in Burnt Umber. Card base is Berry Sorbet, DP is Chocolate Remix 6 x 6, ribbon is Dark Chocolate Swiss Dot, buttons and eyelet border punch are from SU, sentiment is from OOAL Sentiments, Burnt Umber on Sweet Blush CS. I stacked 2 SU buttons and threaded the with DMC floss in a dark brown. All products except buttons, border punch and Stickles are from PTI. I enjoyed pulling out one of my favorite sets that I haven't used in a long time. Hope you enjoyed looking--Thanks for dropping by!

Birthday gift for Kate
I have been waiting to post this until the end of the PTI 2nd Anniversary madness is over, which is tonight. My daughter has a very good friend in her 1st grade class, Kate, who had her birthday party last weekend. I made her a gift ensemble built around this Doodlebug Design paper, which I absolutely love. Kate told me recently that blue is her fave color (I was originally going to do it in purple--I thought that was every little girl's fave color LOL!) so I used the blue, which turned out to go very well with SU's Ballet Blue. Other ink and CS is Green Galore and Summer Sun. Butterfly punch is Martha Stewart (and is there to cover a smudge--don't pretend you've never done that!) and covered with stickles. Oh, and I used my new eyelet border punch from SU. Set is Floral Frenzy by PTI.

PTI Friends to the End Challenge
This is what I came up with. I was totally inspired by Becky Oehler's card. I don't have any flower stamps like this, but I do have this DP from SU. It is double sided, and I like one side of this, but was frankly baffled by this side, until I saw Becky's card. All supplies by SU except sentiment from PTI's Floral Frenzy, PTI white CS for tag, and Spellbinders double ended tags also from PTI. This is for my stamping buddy in NC, Teresa! Hey girl!

PTI Sketch Challenge
Well, the fun over at Nichole's blog continues with a sketch challenge--Prize: PTI ribbon! Sign me up. I am getting so many cards done! Today I polished off Mother's Day and Father's Day cards!
This is the Father's Day card. Can't decide yet if it is for my husband or my dad. CS is Aqua Mist and Ocean Tides. Ink is OT and Palette Noir. I used the retired (a very long time ago) SU BG Old World Map for the BG, added pewter jumbo eyelets and hemp from SU.

Super Boy!
It's a bird, it's a plane...No, it's Super Boy and Friend! This is the Billy Set from Pink Cat Studio. I just love the little dog with his cape and mask! The CS is SU Blue Bayou (ret.), Tangerine Tango, Kiwi Kiss, and Baja Breeze, PTI Stamper's Select White. Ink is the same, plus Barely Banana and More Mustard (watercolored his hair), Blush Blossom (face) and Close to Cocoa for the dog. DP is Scenic Route. For the medallion at lower left I punched out a scallop circle using my SU punch and then (here's the trick) adhered a thin scrap to the back of my punched circle to use as a handle to put the punched piece back in the punch. You line the points up in the middle of the scallops and punch and you get a circle with points instead of scallops! My SU buddies here in Wichita taught me that! I thought it went well with this card. Brads are HL I think. I had fun making this card. Hope you enjoyed it. Have a great weekend!

FIESTA! PTI Color Challenge
Okay, okay, I know my usual battle cry is "SIESTA!" not "FIESTA!", but these colors really said "party" to me, so bring on the margaritas and the mariachis!
The colors we are to use are Pure Poppy, Summer Sunrise, Ripe Avocado, and Ocean Tides, or reasonable facsimilies. With these colors, I had to use It's a Celebration. To start I stamped the string for the pennants in Palette Noir. For the BG I used the confetti and inked up one side of it in one color, the other side in another color. Cool effect I think, just be sure to always ink up your yellow first, so you don't wreck your yellow pad. I stamped the pennant flags and used Simple Alphabet to spell out "fiesta" on the flags, cut out and popped up. Ribbon and a sentiment from Birthday Basics to finish--all products from PTI.
Then I thought how great Women of Life would look in this color combo, so I made this card too. All products except buttons (SU) are PTI. If you would like to play along with this challenge, please link to Nichole's blog and follow instructions. All entries will be eligible to win free CS for a year. Hope you enjoyed these cards. Thanks for stopping by!

It's in the Bag Challenge over on PTI
Hi, everyone, here is my entry for the challenge over on Nichole's blog. We were to make or alter any type of bag we wished. How easy is that? Everyone who links their entry to Nichole's blog is entered to win a cute tote and $100 PTI gift card--so get cracking! This is just a plain white gift bag from Michael's. I attached some of the 12 x 12 Bitty Baby Blessings DP to the front, then stamped and layered the rest. Stamp set is Bitty Baby Blessings, CS is Lavender Moon, Lemon Tart, and Stamper's Select White. I watercolored the images with SU inks and punched them out with Marvy punches. The little tag is made with the Spellbinders tag dies. Border is with SU scallop border punch, ribbon is Lemon Tart satin. This was easy and fun to do, and I do have a baby gift I need to give, so even if I don't win the contest, I still have accomplished something today!
