Today is the DH's birthday.  Yup, he's officially an OLD GOAT!  Bwah-ha-ha-ha!  No worries, he never reads my blog!  {snort!}  I mean, you have to admit, this card is GREAT, right?  OMG, I just love it.  I can just see his face when he reads it.  He'll purse his lips and do this "WHATEVER" look! Pffft!  I'm rollin' on the floor laughing just thinking about it. 

I used this circle sayings stamp set and I love how the sentiment frames the image.  However, I felt the circle needed something else.  So, I decided to stamp these background dots on it and BAM!  THAT WAS THE TICKET!  Now, the OLD GOAT looks right at home.  Love it!

Here's a close up.  I added a little Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to the cupcake and candle.  Ain't he cute??  Okee dokee, that's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a FABULOUS Friday!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY JAXON

Today is my grandson Jaxon's FIRST birthday!!  I can't believe it's been a year!  Lil' Chick gave him a birthday "PAWTY" on Saturday.  Everything was dog themed and it was a BLAST!  I made him this little card and of course, I had to use a dog to match his theme.   Tee-hee!

OMG, I LOVE THIS CARD!  I know I say that a lot, but there are some cards that just "get me".  I don't know why, but I could just sit and stare at it, I like it that much.  LOL!  I'm weird, what can I say.  Ok, so I stamped the word "happy" and the dog first.  Then after I masked both, as well as the bottom of the card below "happy", I applied the distress inks.  I started with the darker ink and used the lighter inks as I went up the card base.  Then the MAGIC happens with you remove the masks!  Ta-da!  Love that part!  Next, I colored the dog with my Copics and stamped the two sentiments on top and bottom of the word "happy".  Then I extended the tails of the word "happy" so it would go off the card on both edges which creates the separation from the top and bottom.  Love it!!

Welcome Baby Bear!

Mornin' hens! 

Here's a little card I made for an upcoming baby shower I'm attending.  Lil' Chick's bestie Alicia is having a boy and we're all SUPER excited for her.  Now, Jaxon will have a play buddy.  Yay!

Alicia hasn't told anyone the baby's name but she calls him "BEAR".  Isn't that cute?  Ok, so I dug through my stamps and found this cute little baby bear that I thought would be perfect.  I paired him with two other stamp sets to create this cute little tag.  I just LOVE it!  Behind the tag, I placed some sequins underneath the vellum panel and sewed the layer closed.  To finish, I tied seam binding to the tag and adhered it on top.  Okee dokee, that's it for me today.  I hope you hens have a FABULOUS Friday!  {{{hen hugs}}}
