A Little Bit of Spring

The English weather is a law unto itself! On Friday here in the South it was so cloudy we missed the eclipse. This morning when I finished this card we had bright warm sunshine. Now at 4pm we have black skies with the threat of rain! I hope the weather is good wherever you are and this spring themed card will cheer you up if its not!

To create this card I used the latest set of stamps free with Creative Stamping Magazine. First I stamped the wreath and coloured it with Aquamarkers and coloured pencils. Before cutting out the shape I stamped the sentiment in the middle. I then stamped other elements and decoupaged them onto the wreath. The card base was created by appling Peeled Paint and Bundled Sage Distress inks through a mask.

I love to read your comments on my work and will always try to visit your pages too!

Spring Time

I hope you are looking forward to the weekend? I am looking forward to a rest having been busy with my Design Team samples for Serif CraftArtist this week. You may also have seen the beautiful new digikits by Victoria Nelson on Create and Craft today I will share those pictures later this weekend.

Today I would like to share a Spring time / Easter themed card I created with my new stamp set from InkyDoodles.

Using the Spring Applique set I stamped the two bunnies and coloured them with Promarkers. I then created the outside border using the small stamps in the set. Again these were coloured with Promarkers. I think it makes a very sweet Easter / Spring card and can't wait to use more of the set!

I am entering my card into the following blog challenges:

Service resumed!

I must apologise, I can't believe its such a long time since I posted!  I am so busy with projects at the moment my poor blog gets neglected!

One of projects I have been working on are cards for Serif CraftArtist, using their new Digital Quilling Kits.  I have never got the hang of quilling and have bad memories of sticky fingers and paper strips!! So these are a real asset!

This is a scrapbook page I created using the DigiQuill Kits and photographs from my garden last summer.

And here are some other examples:

I will be back later this week with some spring projects to share.
