Easter 2013 & Ezra's first haircut

I know, I've been gone a long time.
I got behind and my OCD got overwhelmed with playing catch-up.
So I'm just going to jump in to where we're at now.
Maybe I can fill in the gaps later (ha).

ANNNNNND I started this post the day after Easter.  Sigh.  I'm still posting it.  So there. :)

Warning: lots of pictures!

Though the weather around here has been all over the place, we had a beautiful day on Easter Sunday!

Joe preached his first Easter Sunday as a Senior Pastor (he prefers Lead Pastor :))!

Avery's friend Josie (and her family :)) visited from Colorado and needless to say, the girls were excited to see each other.

We then enjoyed lunch with friends and family at my sister's house after church.  We had a "Mexican Easter" this year with tacos, fajitas, taco soup, chips, salsa, guacamole, and the like. :) We like to go non-traditional sometimes.

For fun, see how much our kiddos changed from last year to this year... wow.

The kids napped (Ezra had a hard time - that boy likes his bed and only his bed... sigh), then they had an Easter egg hunt outside.

Avery and Malachi were SO good about finding the "hard" ones and leaving the "easy" ones for the younger two. :) Hello Kitty had to help.

Ezra loved getting the m&m's out of the eggs.  He would bust open the egg and drop the candy in the grass.  Good thing Daddy helped him.

I love watching my sister be a mom.  I think Jericho looks like her in this pic :)

Avery showing Gpa, Uncle Aaron, and Great Grandpa Herb the eggs she found.

I didn't get any of Malachi during the hunt that aren't blurry - he was so excited, running everywhere!

Yay for family pics!

Father and son. :)

My cute first nephew.

Ezra was cut off from m&m's... then I caught him chocolate-faced. :)

Everyone thinks Ezra is bald... but he's super blonde.  He had a bunch of random long pieces in the back, so he was ready for his first haircut.  Seemed appropriate since Jericho's first haircut was last Easter (at only 4 months old :)).

Thankful for Bubble Guppies on the iPad and a light-up ball in hand.

He did really well!

I didn't get a good "after" shot of Ezra, so I'll put the one that's good of my sister. :) Thanks, Aunt Tassy!

We had to get some Easter pictures of the 4 kiddos in the chair that we used last year.  Check out last year's pics here. :)

And now... this year!

I have to post my favorite from last year to compare... they have changed so much!

Happy belated Easter... good thing we continually celebrate that Jesus is alive! :)

Merry Christmas

As we celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the kiddos wanted to say...

September - 3

This just happened one day.  Now it's happened every day since.  My little climber.

Where's Ezra? :)

Waving at the camera...

Ezra emphatically waving and saying "hi" :)

It started to rain, so I ran outside to bring in the hammock... I turned around to see this.  HA!

My boys :)

Avery started gymnastics!  She LOVES it.  Thanks to some generous friends, she even has leotards to wear. :)

Both kids on my lap. :)

I told you he was a climber...

It's so hard to be inside when you want to be outside!

In September I had a garage sale (along with other friends and family).  We were setting up the night before and Avery got delirious and silly... :)

Bubba-Jericho talks.

Look at those cute cousins!  Can you tell how much they love garage sales? :)

I gave Avery and Malachi some silly string to play with...

Since Avery started preschool, I started running again - YAY!  I have a single jogging stroller, so my little man and I go for a run while she's at school (on the days we can).  The only thing is... it's during Ezra's nap time.  He naps great in the stroller... as long as I keep running.  He usually naps an hour and fifteen minutes in the morning.  Yeah... I am just beginning to run again - I can't run for that long!  It's proved to make things a bit tricky, but we're working on it. :)

Every now and then after nap, Ezra gives me snuggles!  It's rare... because he doesn't like hates to sit still. :) When he snuggles for a minute, I treasure it!  Good morning, Buster Blue!

I love how Avery makes Ezra laugh!!

Maybe Ezra will be a photographer someday...?  He could be my assistant.  Or perhaps I will be his. :)

This is Ezra's new favorite thing to do in the johnny-jump-up... he goes so fast!

My little baller. :)
