September was full of Visitors and Visiting....

So alas my attempt to stay on top of blogging/journal has failed! So here is my 23th attempt to catch up on this before November!

My sister Brooke FINALLY graced us with her presence here in AZ only after 3 LONG years of persuasion! She brought Jaxon(3) and little Macee(5mo) and we had a blast! Because it was still over 100 we did a lot of indoor things! Who knew you could hang out at Cabellas for over 4 hours with 5 little kids! Having Brooke here was SO much fun and she helped me out SOOOOOO MUCH!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH BROOKE FOR EVERYTHING!!! I love ya! While she was here I took some pics of her little princess! She was so perfect!

The day Brooke left we packed our own bags to spend the weekend holiday in Pine Top with our friends the Fallers. We had an amazing time and realized how much we really do miss trees and mountains!!

I think Cooper was in awe when we got there because him and Stevie did a lot of this....

And of that! FREEDOM! So much land to run on!

Stevie was Cooper's age, Maddie was Sam's age, and then Tessa was Paxton's age so it worked out PERFECT!!!
The funny thing is at home our kids have toys coming out of their ears and yet I hear everyday how bored they are! Here at the cabin we had a wagon, hammers (which were the best and most entertaining toy there), and some forks and cups to play in the dirt with and I didn't even see the kids for 4 days!!

On Saturday we woke up and headed off to the Sweet Corn Days by Snowflake! I loved that it was just this small town feel! The kids had treats...

And so did Nick!!!
Why have just one stick of honey when you could have THREE???

The Faller's also introduced Crawdad fishing! (I'm guessing that I spelled that wrong!!:)
We grabbed two fishing poles, one stick pole, and one bat pole! It was awesome! We went down the street to this little street, tied lunch meat to a rock tied to the end of the fishing line and stuck it into the stream! Perfect fishing for kids!

Here is me taking pictures of everyone on the other side of the stream...

And here I am still sitting here taking picture of Pax who seems to have been forgotten and was looking a little too close at the crawdads and took a full somersault in! Not sure if it is the photographer in me but instead of jumping up to help him, I started clicking! :)

He is such a tuff kid! Don't know if it is because he is #3 or not but after 2 min he was fine! Being the manly man that he is!!

So these crawdads are CREEPY things and the dads invited the moms to hold some of them!Me and Lyndsey thought about it like this for about 10 minutes! Ewwwwww!!!

We finally gave in and it seriously almost pinched me! Don't like creepy, pinchy, slimy things!!!

Thank you Crawdads for letting us have our fun!! Now you can go back to your home... Until next time!!
When we got home it started raining and all the kids headed off to play!

I think Coop forgot how rain makes things slippery. Perhaps because he has only seen it rain once or twice here in AZ EVER!!

Pax giving me the "PEEESE CAN I GO TOO" face!
On the last day we had a treasure hunt in the back with the kids! (I say with the kids as if someone would think us adults did it if I left it off! Honestly:)
Anywho... the kids loved it and found their treasure!

All of them holding their loot! A bag full of marshmallows! Is there anything better than that??!!
THANK YOU THANK YOU FALLERS for this AMAZING trip! It was much needed! And the best part about it was that new best friends were made!!!
