a SpEcIaL HAPPY BDAY shout out to my sweet Hubby, RYAN

This is at the dinner table, licking our chops,
just waiting to dive into one of Dad's favorite
Birthday dinners.
We had London Broil, White corn and Baked
Potatoes. Oh, it was so good.
Ry turned 36 today, and had a great Birthday.
We all ran up to Sears, and separated away from
dad, so we could pick out some gifts for him.
I think it was the most fun for Dusty. He is very
particular about what he buys people lately. He
knew he wanted to get Ry something to do with
tools, and he found just the right gift after some
lengthy minutes of browsing. We also got him
some shorts, sunglasses and a small locking tool
chest. Happy Birthday, honey. We love you so much.
thanks for being a great guy, dad, husband and
friend. We hope you had an enjoyable day with all
of your favorite things.
Love, Care Bear, Bug-a-boo, Bud and Bubba

Just the 3 of Us

(Jaime, Jennie and Me)
We celebrated Mother's day the Friday before
at Chuck E. Cheese's, oddly enough without
any husbands and just our kids and Mom and
Nana. It was so much fun. I just absolutely love
my sisters, think that they are fabulous moms
and strive to be more like them all the time.
Isn't it great to have so many moms to look up
to, and they don't even have to be your Mom,
though I love you MOM, and totally look up to you.
I just love that I am surrounded by great women
and mothers.
Thanks to all of you that help me to be a better
Mom.

"God made dirt...

...and dirt don't hurt!"

it's doesn't taste good either. But,
don't I look so cute in it? After the
thunderstorm and HAIL(?what, in
May in So. Cal?) on Thursday,
our dirt became mud quickly, and boy
did the boys have so much fun.
until Toby decided he was hungry.
poor guy, maybe he learned his lesson?

Got my POCKETS full of sunshine!

I feel really blessed to have such a sweet family.
My kiddos are great kids. Last night Brynne and Dusty
played for almost 2 hours with not one fight.
It was amazing. I just love when they get along. It makes
our house so much happier when there is no fighting.
I love this song. Everytime I hear it, I think of all
my blessings...especially my loved ones.
Thanks for making me feel so filled up with love.
Love you all, especially my Ryan.

My Mom makes the best enchiladas!

I was shocked tonight when Toby ate all that was in his bowl,
and then asked for more. I knew he'd be hungry,
but he's never showed any interest in rice
or enchiladas before. He downed his food,
and as you can see, he even tried to
lick the bowl clean. Thanks for making
me feel so good, Toby.
It's good to know you like my cookin'.

Oh MY shoes!

Toby loves shoes. Not just his shoes,
though he does love his own shoes,
when he knows we're leaving, I tell
him to go get his shoes, and he always
brings me a matching pair with a SMILE.
But Toby loves everyones shoes.
Every morning he sits with Ryan
and helps him put on his shoes...
I just loved this picture of Toby in
Brynne's shoes. It was really fun
watching him try to balance on one
foot to put the shoes on.
Toby, we love you and your love for shoes.

Helpful Boys

Toby and his best friend, Jacob,
had a little snack of popcorn while
at Jacobs house, and after they
wanted to be BIG helpers.
Julie says it took about 30 minutes
to clean up the mess using 3 brooms.
FUN FUN FUN!
Aren't they soooo cute?

A SHOUT OUT to Papa Neil and to Cousin Hailey.

These pics are from our family cruise back in
June '07. Toby and Hailey were the only children
that went...Look at those cutie-patooties.
