May Build A Kit at STS

It's another month and another Build A Kit at Stuff to Scrap. Kat did a cute outdoor bug kit. Works well with both boy and girl pictures, but of course you know mine has a boy in it! lol Here is the preview of her mini kit and the word art.

March BAK at STS

We have a new month and a new Build a Kit at Stuff to Scrap! This month's kit is based on Games. And gaming, specifically, is what my house revolves around! ROFL! Well at least for Kevin and Tye. Here is the page I created with both portions of Kat's kit. The day after Thanksgiving our friends invited us over for a little game night. We mostly played Just Dance on the Wii. Tye had a great time and was pretty good at it. :-) We had a really fun time and there will be more pages down the road to go with this one.

New Things at STS

There are some fun new products at Stuff to Scrap to tell you about.

First is this month's mega kit is called Whimsical Wonders. It's got a great palette and is full of fun doodled elements. This month's contributors were AmyDane Designs, Digi-Designs by Nicole, Growing Pains Scrapped, Jensen Motley Crew Designs, Scraps 'N Pieces, and SAHM Scrapper.

There is a coordinating set of QPs that are available and there's a twist: When you purchase the Whimsical Wonders mega-collab during the first week of March, you get the QPs free.

There's also a great CU grab bag this month.

Be Mine by Shel Belle Scraps

Shel Belle Scraps has a new kit out for Valentine's called Be Mine. It isn't the totally traditional colors, so it is nice! While there are a few "traditional" pieces, the kit has some fun and different elements to it. Here is a preview of the entire kit.

And my layouts. The first one is of this past Valentine's Day. Tye was so excited to get a Car's book! I love that I {heart} U stamp!!! So cute!

This is using the template from the kit. Valentine's Day in 2010 was on Sunday. I didn't have anything red to wear and neither really did the guys so we wore brown instead! lol It actually worked quite well with this kit though! lol

Reel Em In by The Scrappy Kat

The Scrappy Kat has a new kit out called Reel Em In. A fishing themed kit with elements for both boys and girls, men and women plus there are real elements and cartoonish elements! Makes it fun for any and all fishing pictures! Here is a preview of the kit.
Here is the layout I made with this kit. At first I wasn't sure I liked how the page turned out, but the more I look at it the more I like it. :-)
Then I created a border freebie for all of you! :-) I think it would be a cute border for the bottom of a page. I had already decided on my layout before I decided on the freebie, so I haven't used it yet, but I will soon. :-) Hope you like it. Click on the preview to be directed to the download. Also if you go over to Kat's blog you will find other freebies that go with the kit.

Snow Much Fun by Shel Belle Scraps

Shel Belle Scraps has a couple of fun new items for sale this week. It all revolves around the snow! First she has two template packs. I have used both of them in my layouts below. And my little man, making and throwing snowballs with himself. I was too busy taking pictures to get too wet and cold! And no one else was there at the time! lol He had a great time, but he is definitely a Florida kid because he didn't stay out there very long at all! lol
