Disneyland for Fall Break

We went to Disneyland for fall break. We rented a minivan (as to not put miles on our own) and headed down on Wednesday evening and came back on Sunday. Here are some photos!

As you can see we had a great time and the boys LOVED the rides. Star Tours was their favorite, followed closely by California Screamin.

Spring Break

For spring break this year our family went to Disneyland. Aaron and the boys drove down on Sunday, while I flew down on Monday evening. I didn't want to drive.....JUST KIDDING, I had to work. The boys kept me up to date with the fun they were having.

We had a great time even with Aaron getting his credit card number stolen (whole other story). The hotel was perfect, the boys nearly at them out of food every morning. We followed that up by full days of Disneyland. We had a great time meeting up with Jeana and Dane.

It was a great trip and we can't wait to go back!!

Birthday Party

Alex had his birthday party last night at the
Space Center.

It was a great party. His friends came over to our house first.
They played Kinect, ate pizza, and opened presents.
Then it was off to the Space Center
where they boarded the Phoenix
and participated in the Supernova mission.

It lasted 2 1/2 hours.
Each boy had a job - Captain, Science Officer,
Tacticle, Engineer, etc.
The boys loved it!
It was fun to hear the boys talk about the mission all the way home.

Happy Birthday Alex!

Sundance Skiing

It's always nice when you get back from work and a few hours later you're swooshing down the slopes! Its even better if where you've been working is a flat place like Missouri! Peyton, Drew, Kade and Uncle Ethan went to Sundance this afternoon for their "Twilight" pass. 2 hours of skiing, $32, litterly a dozen runs, there was no one there to get in the way or make us wait in a line! Also it was Kade's first time skiing! He was brave and is so good, he was skiing Blue's by the time the lifts shut down and the kicked us off the mountain! It was great!

The Canyons

We were finally able to go skiing today! (We have been home bound the last month due to sinus infections, colds, sore throats and kidney stones.) It was a beautiful day to ski. We went to The Canyons in Park City. It is an amazing resort. The runs were all challenging, but everyone did great. (No green runs for us and not because I didn't want to ski green. There just weren't any green runs!) The heated lift, gondola, and six pack were the favorite lifts.

The favorite run of the day was Rhapsody. We can't wait to go back!

Happy Birthday Alex!!

I can't believe Alex is 10. Yes, 10!!! That's a decade since he snuck into our lives in the middle of the night with what feels like a record setting birth. (We barely made it to the hospital) After a night of BYU Hockey and hotdogs, Alex decided he needed to see the world. We are very happy to have him in our lives!! We love the big guy!

The Schofield Pizza Challenge

The boys have been watching a lot of Man vs. Food on the Travel channel with Aaron. They decided they needed to have their own challenge, so the Schofield Pizza challenge was born. The rules were simple: Any large pizza from Little Ceasars or Dominos, 20 minutes to eat as much as possible, anything to drink, and no bathroom breaks. Prizes were awarded for number of pieces eaten! The boys all were excited with Peyton and Drew each choosing a Little Ceasars Peperoni, Alex with his more sophisticated palate choose a Dominos Pepperoni and Ethan with his love of steak, decided a Philly Cheese Steak from Dominos was in order.

Here are the pre-contest boys!

Each of them started off strong!!

The boys kept going strong!!

HOWEVER, even with their LOVE of Pizza they all soon became VERY FULL! At the 20 minute mark EVERY boy was STUFFED full of pizza!!!!

Grand Pizza Total:
Peyton - 2 Pieces
Drew - 5 Pieces
Alex - 5 Pieces
Ethan - 6 Pieces

Each boy is very proud and are preparing for the next challenge, bacon covered hotdogs!!
