Enjoy Your Special Day {SSSC213}

Hi there and welcome to Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch! LOVE this week's sketch. I hope you get a chance to play along.

I used the Lily Die-namics from My Favorite Things, along with the Wood Plank Background. The Lily's were cut from Smooth White card stock and were colored with Copic Markers. The Wood Plank background was stamped in Kraft ink on Smooth White card stock and Kraft card stock. The sentiment is from Doodle Garden Party Time and was stamped on a Dimensional Banner.

Thank You {SSSC212}

Hi there everyone! It's time for Karen's Sweet Sunday Sketch! We have another great sketch for you to play with this week so I hope you get a chance to play along!

My card was COMPLETELY inspired by Jennifer McGuire and what she did on this post for the MFT blog. I cut Smooth White card stock with my Lily Die-namics (this month's Free with $60) and colored them with Copics. The sentiment is from the new set Words of Inspiration. The large panel was dry embossed with the Scallops Stencil.

Happy Birthday {SSSC211}

Hi there! I'm REALLLLYYYY late with my Sweet Sunday Sketch but I'm here! Better late than never. I LOVE this week's sketch. I hope you get a chance to play along.

My card is fairly simple and pretty straight forward so I won't go into a lot of detail. It also uses scraps from cards gone wrong. Save your scraps, People! The flower is an extra from a card I recently made, as is the embossed white panel, so this card took me almost no time which is not the norm for me.

So enough of the chit chat. Let's get to the reason you're here:

MFT March Release Rewind

Hi there! MFT just had their March Release and today the design team is hosting part two our monthly Release Rewind. You can see all of the new stamps and Die-namics in the MFT Boutique. Head on over to the MFT Blog for a link to each participating designer.

 I have two cards to share today that use the new Chalkboard Greetings Too. I never got a chance to ink up this set during the release so I couldn't wait to use it for the Release Rewind. I paired it with the Wood Plank Background and the Plaid Background Builder. The color combo is Orange Fizz, Pink Lemonade, and white.

 You'll find a complete link list of all the MFT products at the end of this post.

 Here is the first of my two cards. I heat embossed the sentiment on both cards with Versamark Ink and white embossing powder.
