So what did you think of the Marc Jacobs show?

It was great to see that Marc's collection was full of color and optimism, I'm a little surprised that so many collections have been so dour.

So it makes me think, should a designer's collection be a reflection the times or an escape?

I love this look.
Tweedy herringbone, navy dots, leather, a touch of fur and a shock of color.
I love that she uses so many elements of design: color, pattern, texture, proportion.
I also love that a man can be just as inspired by this as a woman.
