Kindergarten!

How the time flies!  I can't believe T-Mac started school this morning!  We are so excited that he has Ms. Schug -- the same Kindergarten teacher his father, Aunt Laura and cousin Lila all had!!  He was so excited to go this morning that he woke up EARLY!  After taking a few pictures we made it to school . . . then realized he had forgotten his backpack.  I dashed home to get it and took it back to the school.  Class had just started.  Can't wait to see him at the end of the day!!  We are praying for all the kids and teachers today.  T-Mac even has a little cross attached to his backpack from church yesterday.  As he starts back, I thought I would do a little homework myself and am going to attempt to update this blog and try to get a few pictures of Norah posted too :)

I'm a Big Brother!

Norah Kate joined our family on Thursday. She weighed one ounce more than her big brother at birth at 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 inches long (T-Mac was a half inch longer -- all in his feet!). She looks a bit like him with some very dark hair. Theron spent Wednesday night with Justin and Courtney (so Justin could make him waffles!) in anticipation of an induced labor. Apparently, little sister has ideas of her own because she decided to start her appearance into this world about 3:30 a.m. We got to the hospital around 4:30 a.m. and Norah was born at 12:44 p.m.! When asked what he thinks about having a sister, Theron says "I think it is fun! Her nose looks like me when I was a baby. I think we did look the same. Yeah, I think we do." We are so thankful she is here and healthy!!

We were able to come home on Friday after Theron got home from school. We were able to spend a quiet evening at home and everyone slept really well Friday night. Theron and Aaron had to make a quick trip to the doctor's office Saturday morning -- T-Mac has an ear infection, but everyone is doing much better today and we are excited to be HOME! The monkey outfit is the one big brother picked out for her to wear as her first outfit. Looks like this is the only time she will fit in it! At least she got to wear it once :)

Halloween 2011

We had a great time this Halloween season going to Pumpkin Hollow, attending the Fall Festival at SCBC and trick or treating. Here is our little Bumblebee (Transformer not insect!)

Fall is Here!

We are so excited to decorate our house for Halloween (T-Mac's shirt - thanks Amy B!).  We have also been enjoying karate (for Aaron and T-Mac) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.  Finally, the wonderful ladies at my book club gave me a baby shower for Norah.  T-Mac got to "open" all the presents again when I got home.
