Girls!
We had my old college roommate, Suzie Graviet Hansen, visit us this past weekend! The air conditioning broke, Taylor threw-up all night and had a fever for two days, Kate(Suzie's daughter) had an allergic reaction to our dog Dixie, and we broke 2 bowls! Then, just to top everything off, Dixie ended up at the vet for a day with a swollen paw! When it rains it pours!!

I lost Avery today!
I lost Avery today and it freaked me OUT! Avery was in and out all day, just enjoying the perfect spring weather. I was inside doing small jobs and watching her through the window. All of a sudden, I couldn't hear her anymore so I went to investigate. I walked around outside and couldn't find her. Then, I walked around inside. Still no Avery. It had only been like a second and she was gone! I ran inside and yelled at Jamon the Avery was missing. He didn't believe me and started looking through the house while I grabbed some shoes. We decided he would check the front and I would get the back. I ran down the retaining wall of rocks, through our back neighbors yard yelling, "Avery!" No sign of her. I started running down the street yelling, "Avery" and panicing like crazy! Then from across the street, out of a fenced backyard, Dixie our Boston Terrier, came running to me. I ran straight to the house from where she had come. Through the gate to the backyard, I could hear Avery jiber-jabering. I opened the gate and there she was! No shoes and smiling!! I NEVER want to lose either of my kids again-

Taylor's starting T-Ball
It's a big day when your 4 year old daughter starts T-ball! And, it's a pretty good opportunity for some laughs!! In the beginning, I thought this little adventure would be a 20$ adventure. Right! We now own a pink and purple pleather mitt, 7 T-balls, a tee, a pink batt, pink and white cleats and a pink bag to carry all the afore mentioned articles.
Taylor has had two practices and it is apparent that she has no idea what is going on and it is hysterical! During the warm-up/catch part, she beaned her partner with her fast ball or threw it over his head! Then during the take turns batting while everyone fields the ball part, Taylor turned cirlces in the field, talked to her neighbor or, on occassion, ran with 6 other kids after the ball. I felt like I needed to be out there with her telling her every 5 seconds to watch the ball. But really, I was just so proud of her I couldn't stand it! I know that's how every mom must feel but I cannot believe that that cute, smart, coo-coo girl came from me!! She is awesome.

Moving?
A few people have asked me about our families plans for moving. Well the answer is...who knows! We do not know what the heck we are doing really. So, now ya know!! Just kidding. Basically, Jamon took this new consulting job last November so he could have a more flexible schedule and go back to school. We are sooo flexible that we actually could move back to Idaho and live near our families, which for me, has been on my wish list for awhile. BUT, now that we are in this position, we just haven't felt like we should move. Wierd, huh? I agree. We go back and forth, weighing pros and cons, talk about it and talk about it and still do nothing. Really it has become a little frusterating to be sitting in limbo for such a long and time still have no game plan. I normally don't like operating like this and so my nerves are a little shot. In english that means I'm grouchy alot! It stinks but I don't know what to do!! I love you all and appreciate your patience with me and us as we SLOWLY figure this out!

Great Grandma Rivera
Jamon's Grandma Rose, from Puerto Rico, is turning 99 years old this March. She is probably not 5 feet tall and only takes one blood pressure pill!! I think she is a little go getter who laughs hystarically all the time. Jamon swears she used to be a little mean, but I'm sure it has nothing to due with the fact the he punched her in the face when he was little.
Recently, Grandma has moved into a "facility" and we were able to visit her there over Christmas. She was so excited to see us, she was rambling on in Spanish and laughing a lot. Avery was a little freaked out but Taylor recited her whole "Christmas Poem" to every sitting the Activities Room and got a round of applause.
Jamon's sister Rori and his Aunt Margie are planning a 99th Birthday Party the first week in March and we decided we will drive over. I think it amazing that she a lived for 99 years. I can't really imagine living that long...but I think everyone should do it! Happy Birthday Grandma!

Play-Day
We have been having "play-days" for two days straight and we are having fun. Taylor has been non-existant, playing upstairs in her room with Kamille. Avery has been very clingy and wants to be held all the time. Today we had lunch across town at a McDonald's with an indoor play area. You would have thought that I had done something awesome for the girls by the looks on their faces! We stayed forever and the girls didn't even complain when I said it was time to go. They were exhausted!
