Remembering a great man.
Warning picture overload!!!
September 15Th was a bitter sweet day, my sweet Grandpa Tolman passed away. I was so happy to think of him being reunited with my grandma but was sad that i wouldn't be able to spend time with him again for a long while. Grandpa lived to be 92 years old and lived a good life. He was a great example to me and I have many cherished memories of spending time with him as a child and an adult. Here are a few pics from his 92ND birthday and his funeral.
My dad and grandpa. My dad reminds me so much of him.
Grandpa hadn't know who we were for a long time but he was always so happy to see us. He took dads hat and put it on.
My girls adored him and he them.

Signature grandpa, he always held our hands and kissed them. He called us a his little pals.
Grandpa was a farmer and bought this tracter brand new in th 1950's. My uncle Glade restored it and it led the procession of cars to his grave.

My dad and aunts and uncle.
We sent white balloons to heaven for grandpa.
The amazing detail on his casket

I was privledged enough along with 3 of my cousins and my little sister to be able to sing 'Daddy's hands" as a tribute to grandpa and our parents. I'm not singer but felt very lucky to do that one last thing for my grandpa. I'm sure he was looking down with a smile on his face. I love you grandpa and will miss you dearly until we meet again.
Breckyn's First Day of Preschool.
My baby is old enough for preschool! He was so excited and looked forward to this all summer long. The morning he started he was so excited to wear his new clothes. He kept asking me if I was going to go with him, so I thought it might be fun trying to get him to stay. Once we got there he was fine and didn't shed one tear. ( Mom was a different story )
He looked like such a big handsome boy. Not the baby I want him to be.
Breckyn and his teacher Miss Angie. He adores her and she is such an amazing teacher.
First Day of School.
OK so now I know I'm behind on blogging. I'm just barely doing the first day of school.
Trey looking so very handsome and much older than a 5Th grader.
My beautiful Karli. She was so excited to get to go to school all day, have a desk and eat lunch.
My beautiful social butterfly Kassi. She just couldn't wait to catch up with all her friends after being away for 3 months.

These pictures are in no particular order. After a horribly long week is Aug Chris surprised us and took us to Bear Lake for the day! We packed a lunch and the swim suits and drove up for a day of playing and eating.
Breckyn got bored pretty quickly and sat in the car playing the DS.
Chelsea and Chris Love to torment each other and tried drowning each other all day. This is one of the few moments that they played nice.

No idea why this loaded sideways :)
I think this is one where she trying to get away from Chris.
They filled that entire jug with shells. We had a really nice fun day. The only down side was that Chris and Trey both got pretty burnt. I thought Chris had put sunblock on Trey and he thought I had so he didn't get any and Chris thought he'd be a tough guy and go without. BIG MISTAKE on his part. They were both pretty miserable for the next week.

Karli's lost her first tooth!
The day we went shooting Karli noticed how loose her tooth was. She wiggled it and wiggled it the whole time we were gone. She was kinda scared to pull it out. Dad said let me do it and yanked it out. She was so excited to lose it. She has waited so long for the first one to come out. That night the tooth fairy brought her a dollar!
Our shooting adventure!
A couple of weeks ago Chris decided he wanted to take the kids and teach them how to shoot and how to use a gun. Me being a little paranoid about guns wasn't quite sure but after some talking I gave in. I'm glad I did. We all had such a good time.
Chris helping Karli. The gun was a little big for her.
Kassi taking her turn
Chelsea shooting for the first time. She was a little nervous at first too but loved it once she got the hand of it. She shot every gun we had there.
