A Mommy's Broken Heart
So, our nephew Spencer (on Nate's side) comes down from Couer D'Alene, Idaho to stay with Grama and Grampa for a week every summer. This is the week and so Aubree is staying over there or at Jade's a lot to play and take part in all the activities Grama has planned. Sunday night she stayed at Jade's and then last night she was going to Grama's with all the kids for a sleep over and then a movie day today. I was missing her so much last night but I didn't want to call to tell her goodnight, just in case she was going to do the "I want you" thing. But at 10:00 ring, ring went my phone and it was my little baby crying saying......yep, you guessed it "I want you". I was secretly kind of happy, (don't tell anybody though). Two nights in a row is hard for me. She has only stayed away from us for more than one night a handful of times and YES, I do know that she is seven and that I am not going to die. Anyway.....I tell her that I will come and get her so by now it is 10:30 and I am on may to Ogden to pick up my little baby that wants her Mom (I just love it!!!!). I am all the way to Roy and my phone rings again, I was fully expecting "How long Mom?" but no, it was Grama saying she is sound asleep. What a little stinker!!! She was asleep and I had to go back home and miss her.....I was sad. I did tell her a little white lie this morning though, I told her that I came to get her and in her sleep she said she wanted to stay and she said "No, I didn't, I still wanted you to take me". She will live and so will I.....I think.

Father's Day Weekend 2011
For some dumb reason I didn't take one single picture this whole weekend. So I guess this will just be a post. We had a fabulous whirlwind weekend. Aubree had her last baseball game of the season on Friday, at the game Shane decides we are having a BBQ at their house....fine by us. Heidi and I left the ball park and went to Wally World for all the fixin's. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, the kids played and ran wild, like they usually do at Aunt Heidi's. We really enjoyed ourselves. I am so lucky to have such an amazing friend, I am lucky that our husbands are friends and that our kids are as close as cousins...brother's and sister's sometimes. Family and Friends make the world go around. We brought Shadie home with us for a sleepover......
On to Saturday, I had ordered Bountiful Baskets that had to be picked up at 9:15 so there was no sleeping in for me! After getting the baskets I had to be home and ready by 11, my Mom was picking Aubree and me up for lunch and Mama Mia!!!!! It is so fun to carry on with Aubree what my Mom did with me as a little girl. The play is a little more "riskay" than the movie and that, I didn't know but I think a lot of it went over her head or she was embarrassed (thank goodness). The second the play was over we flew back to DJ's house for our Father's Day / June Birthday Celebration. We had hamburgers and hot dogs and kids played games, jumped on the tramp and everybody played some kind of basketball game....not sure what that was all about, I barely know the difference between basketballs and soccer balls. Well, maybe its not that bad but I certainly don't touch either.
Finally Sunday, Aubree and I slept in LATE and I loved every minute of it. When we finally got up we gave Nate his Father's Day cards and his super awesome present......Banana Creamies!!!! We weren't spending a lot this year since we are dumping ever spare cent into our yard and Aubree picked out the creamies for him, I thought it was pretty cute. Then Aubs and I went to church, running out the door the second it was over so we could get to Dustin and Jade's for Fathers Day with Nate's Dad. They made steaks, baked potatoes, pasta salad, corn on the cob, rolls and watermelon. I made a chocolate eclair cake, recipe compliments of my sister Stacy and it's always delish! Nate's parents met Brandon and Heidi in Montana on Saturday to pick up Spencer for his summer visit. So the cousins had fun running wild and hunting for snakes and coyotes (cringe cringe cringe). Jade and Dustin live up on the mountain in Willard and snakes and lizards and rabbits are a usual visitor to their yard (freaks me out!!!!!) Aubree stayed the night and so did Spencer so I am sure Jade is drinking heavily this morning.
Even though life is so busy and you complain about having no free time I can't imagine what my life would be without my family and friends. I am blessed beyond words, especially for Nate and Aubree. My biggest blessing is being married to a man that has the ability to make his wife and daughter feel like they are his sun, moon and stars. Everybody has issues and trials but I am so happy that I get to share mine with Nate and have the comfort at the end of everyday that he is there for me and loves me and absolutely worships his little girl.

Easter 2011
Easter 2011
The weekend before Easter we were lucky to get an official invite to the Autoliv Easter Egg Hunt, courtesy of Stacy and my Dad. They have both worked at Autoliv for a long time, in fact I think my Dad has retired 3 times....? Anyway, we were told it was quite an event, and that it was!!! It was at the Weber County Fairgrounds on the baseball diamonds. They had each field divided into age groups and the fields were covered in everything from eggs to chips to granola bars to Capri Suns. Aubree was really lucky and found a "prize" egg so she got to pick another prize from a table of lots of fun things. After, we went to Smith and Edwards (which I love) to aimless wander as my Dad would call it. And then off to Applebees for lunch, it was a great day.
Kamryn, Kade, Payton Aubree, Easter Bunny, Ryker, Madi, McKallan and Taryn.
I love these kids!!!
He is so cute and was just happy as could be.
Nice ears Stacy!
And now we are onto Easter weekend. Heidi, my BFF and her family go camping every Easter, just somewhere local. This year the went to Crystal Hot Springs. Why I agreed to go this year I don't really know because you know that me and water just don't mix. Thank goodness for Heidi and Shane for taking her swimming to the gross hot pools, there is no way I would put my big toe in there. Nate went down there too but wouldn't get it. I know, we are mean parents but I was thankful that Heidi needed to pay her friendship dues - hahahahah. The Roe's have lots of Easter traditions for the kids, they die Easter Eggs, play games, have a huge Easter Egg hunt and it is all finished up with the Easter Bunny coming into our trailers to leave the kids their baskets. It was really fun and we love Heidi's parents so much, we are lucky that they love us too!!!!!
I think Grama Vicki had one too many margarita's when she thought it was a good idea for the kids to die Easter Eggs in HER trailer! But who am I to argue? This is Aubree and Gage, he is Heidi's nephew.
Here is Miss Shadie Jo Rotten and her 3rd cast!!!
This is a picture of our automatic bed that goes up and down so that you can pull the 4 wheelers and stuff into the trailer. Sweet little Aubree was pulling on it and if fell. To tell you the truth I am surprised that it lasted as long as it did. Everything in trailers these days are made so cheap! Nate fixed it but I don't think I will be sleeping up there anymore, that would be one rude awakening!!!
This game was sooooo funny! There were a ton of hard boiled eggs it went kid by kid, they had to pick an egg and crack it on their head. Grama said that there was one egg that wasn't cooked..... So, each kid took forever to pick their special egg, cracked it on their head hoping not to get raw egg dripping down their face. It was hilarious, funny thing was when it ended up with the last kid cracking the last egg, the joke was on all of them because they were all cooked!!!!!
This was so awesome!! Heidi's dad Mike is a "Retired Teen Idol". He brought out the guitar and sang songs around the campfire. Aubree was in awe... She had just got a super cool purple Tinkerbell guitar for her birthday so she was loving every minute of being right by Grampa and his guitar. Grampa even fixed a string on her guitar and gave her one of his special guitar picks, you would have thought it was Christmas.
HE FOUND US, THE EASTER BUNNY FOUND US!!!!
Koda is still a little sleepy......
.....and so is his Dad. But how do you resist a game of "Head Banz" at 8:00 in the morning?
I sure love these two!!

Halloween 2010
We love Halloween!!! This was a trip to Black Island Farms in Syracuse. If you haven't been there...it is a must. There are a ton of things to do and watch, we love it.
Aubree, Braunson and Coco
Showing off their SUPER AWESOME face painting. Jade even sent a picture of Braunson's to her Mom and she freaked out and thought it was real.
This picture is at Frightmares at Lagoon. It was the very next day, I guess we had one busy weekend!!
Disney Nights
Aubree and Madi had their BIG show Monday night. It was called Disney Nights, it was a combo of Mulan, Aladdin and Little Mermaid. It was really cute and everybody seemed to enjoy it. Aubree looked scared half to death most of the time and when I asked her if she was nervous or scared, I got a big fat NO!!! I guess the smiling on stage is a technique we will work on for the winter show. We are really proud of her, she has been a busy little girl lately. She has had mock rehearsals, dance rehearsals, 2 performances all on top of 2 baseball games a week. ShowStoppers doesn't start up again until mid August and this week will be the end baseball, and then her summer fun will officially begin. Below are a few pictures from baseball and ShowStoppers (and one of Kyson just cuz he is so dang cute).

I am returning....for real this time!
I have decided to return to blogging. Somebody told me that you can print from your blog and make them into books. Sure enough, she was right!!! So.....I am going to return and be faithful and use blogging like scrap booking, (I don't do that either). And it has been so long that I may be the only one reading my own blogs but that's ok too. Much has happened in the last two years, I finally caved and opened a Face Book account. But I feel like this is a little more personal so I am going to stay with this for the most part. If I say it enough times I am sure I will be more compelled to do it.
Aubree is now 7, YES 7!!!! She is getting sassier and more independent every day. On Saturday I dropped her off at a friends "Justin Beiber" birthday party, I walked her to the door to make sure the mom knew that she was there, said I love you and went in for the usual kiss.....I got a big loud "MOOOOM" and her cheek for me to plant my kiss on. I was so sad, but we couldn't be more proud of the girl she is growing into to. She gets perfect grades, has lots of friends, she is kind and caring.
We don't have too big of plans for the summer, a few small camping trips is all. Aubree is going to bounce from house to house, keeps it interesting for her. My Mom has a pool so I am sure she will be spending a lot of long, wet summer days over there. I have so many memories of spending summer days at my Grandma Young's and her pool, I love that Aubree will have the chance to make some of the same memories.
I am going to get some updated pictures on here...I have missed posting her last few birthdays, Christmas's, you know all the important things in life.
