Baby P's goodies

I figured I wouldn't have much time to post the rest of this week because we are going to Nashville on Thursday for our National Sales Meeting and will not be back until Sunday. I wanted everyone to see some of the cute things we've got so far!

I got these from Cavender's as soon as we found out we were expecting a little boy. I love the Wrangler butt cover and the little boots! I also bought a Wrangler flannel blanket that is adorable!

I love this little onesie! It definitely goes a long with the Western/Cowboy theme I'm going for with his room. Every little boy wants to be a cowboy, right?!

This isn't the best picture but it shows some of the onesies that I've gotten. The one with the football says "my dad is my hero"..I thought it was pretty cute! The little stuffed horse is so soft!

Jenny Glenn was so sweet and surprised us with some presents for baby P! I love the little dog blankie!

Here are some signs I got to decorate P's room with! He's our little buckaroo!

These are some of the cute gifts that Trish got while we went on a girls' shopping expedition in Lubbock this past weekend! There were so many adorable outfits but I think my favorite by far was the cap with the bear ears!

Baby Bumps

Here are the pictures of the baby bump we have so far. Partially because we were so busy that we forgot and also because there wasn't really much of a bump to watch until now.
These pictures were taken today, 9/29/09. I am 22 weeks and 3 days along. I feel like I finally have the baby bump. So far I've gained a total of 12 pounds. I started off at 123 and now at 135. For the past couple of days my belly has been itching a little but it's not keeping me up at night. I really notice the most kicking from baby P is at night when I'm lying down. The first time I really knew it was him kicking was at 18 weeks. It is so strong now that Trevor can actually feel him and I've actually seen my belly move if he's really getting at it! Trev gets a big goofy grin everytime he feels it. Most of the time I don't feel him move during the day. From now on I will be taking pictures every week and will be posting them!

Week 19-I admit, I was sticking out my belly. I was a little sad that it wasn't popping on it's own. This was a couple of days before the big ultrasound and when we went in I made sure they measured to make sure that our baby was the right size. I just figured I would've been bigger by this point. Fortunately, he was actually measuring in the 75th percentile so he's actually larger than most babies at this point. When we did the ultrasound it was at 19 weeks and 3 days and he was measuring at 20 weeks. The due date is set for January 30, 2010!
Week 16-no baby bump yet but I was finally feeling better! Thank God!
For weeks 8 through week 15 I was so miserable! I would get sick about 2-3 times a day and it would last ALL day! I was so nauseated it was hard just to get out of bed. There were a couple of times I actually had to keep a cup/bag in my car "just in case"!!! (that was probably way too much information haha..sorry) But luckily we're past that stage and feeling much much better now!

Baby baby!

Here's where it all started! The first picture of our baby boy at 8 weeks. It's amazing to see how much our little guy has grown in the past 3 months!

These are the ultrasounds from week 19 on 9/8/09. We went in thinkin' it was gonna be a little girl and boy were we wrong! We can't wait to meet little Probandt. We think we are going to name him Pason Tate. But, I still like Tate _____...Trevor likes Pason Tate but he's open to either.

Little arm

Here's his little leg and foot. Notice that he has legs crossed and rested on the side...he must've tuckered himself out from all the kicking and punching at the sonographer. He was a wild one! I don't know where he would've got that from *note the sarcasm haha*

Confirmation of what we can see on the picture: it's a boy!

I told Trevor that he was going to be an Aggie because he's giving the gig 'em sign. He didn't think that was so funny :)

Little boy Probandt looks so peaceful here. I think he is gonna look a lot like his daddy!

In this one you can barely make out his eyes and nose. He wasn't too happy with the sonographer and this is one of the only pictures we could really get that he wasn't flailing around and covering his face.
Tomorrow I will post belly pictures! I've definitely got the baby belly now!

To my family and friends

I've decided to make a place for all of our family and friends to come and see how our little family is growing and give updates on daily life in our new home!

I'm truly blessed to have such an amazing husband and to be joined with another incredible family. I feel like God gave Trevor and myself such great examples of how parents should be. For example, my dad is my hero! I think he hung the moon and every star in the sky! I won't go into every detail, because we would be here for days, but he was the best dad I could've ever wished and prayed for. He was fun and silly but he was wise and knew how to instill his values and beliefs into me and my sister. My mom was amazing and she was always there for me and wanted what was best for us. Our happiness was her primary concern and that is a shining example of how a mother should love her child. I've always known how deep her love for me was and how it continues to grow everyday and that is where I see how special a mother's love really is. My grandma is another person that is extremely important to me and I was so blessed to have her around while I was growing up. She was such an influential part of who I am. She showed me that God is to be paramount in your life and to trust in him at all times. She's creative and fun and taught Courtnie and me so many things about life that I will be able to pass on to my sweet baby. Courtnie has been a great older sister and has been there to support me through the ups and downs of life and to teach and guide me. She will be an amazing aunt and I'm lucky to have her!

As for Trevor's family, I'm still new to the clan but I have to say I couldn't have asked for a better group of people to be in a family with! Victor and Trish are truly special and their love for their kids is evident and I thank them for raising Trevor to be the man of my dreams. They are always thoughtful and so much fun to be around. Trevor tells me all the time about things his parents did for him as he was growing up that he wants to do with our kids and I couldn't be happier to see him take cues from better examples. As for Cait and Eric, our baby will grow up with a fun and exciting aunt and uncle and will be so lucky to have them in his life. They will be able to teach our child so many things and I'm sure there will be a lot of good stories along with it! Trevor's grandmas have been amazing and will be fabulous great-grandmas to this lucky little fella!

So, all in all, we count our lucky stars and say thanks to the Man upstairs every night for allowing us to have so many wonderful people in our lives and soon to be in our baby boy's life! To each one of you, I hope I say it often, but I could never say it enough...I love you! You've filled my life with a tremendous amount of love and joy!
