RPD open house

So there is NOTHING to do in this town, so a few weeks ago, we went to the Ridgecrest Police Department open house. They demonstrated the police dog and his attacks, there was a dunk tank where we saw the police chief get dunked by a 5ish year old kid, then there were a bunch of cop cars the kids could get in. That is about the only thing worth taking pictures of so here are a couple of the kids sitting in the cop cars.
In this picture, they are actually in what looks like a swat truck. I'm not sure how else to describe it.

Lasik

Remeber how I told you guys that Ty had lasik? Well I totally forgot I had taken pictures. So here are some pictures of him.
This is the last time Ty wore glasses. I'm not sure he knows that I took this picture. Well knew, because he'll see it now. :)
Here he is on the table just waiting for it to happen.
Here he is right after. Right after I took this picture, they put some awesome *note the sarcasm* goggles on him and then these even better sunglasses over that. He never would let me take a picture of him with those goggles. He had to wear them to bed at night for almost a week after the surgery to make sure he didn't rub his eyes or anything in his sleep.

He is now seeing 20/13 in his left eye and 20/15 in his right. Or maybe it's the other way around? I just know that now he has better than average eyesight. The halo's that he sees at night have even dramatically improved. His recommendation to anyone considering it, is to totally do it!
