Anthropologie entertains nature.....

My friend Vicki found these lovely bowls at Anthropologie

they are so lovely!

I have been so busy painting and Have to paint through the weekend

If Only......

 I love to buy a book for a great cover.....

 Do you think she's Swedish?

 This is one of those books...

 If only I could read it, 

what a sweet inscription or at least it must be.

 The illustrations are beautiful.

 I just know that its filled with great recipes...

 It was published in Sweden in 1940.

Shades of green....

 My next door neighbor lives on a beautiful lake

 The kids nicknamed this tree you can imagine....

he does have some junk

in the trunk!

 around the lake edge there are the prettiest bushes and

these sweet little flowers.

 she has such a lovely view.

 the Lupine are just starting to pop up here and there

soon our ditches will be filled with them.

I'll share a picture with you.

 whats so nice is Carol has a canoe that the boys can take out

this summer.

 right now she has this little dock on a rope that they like to

drift out on and pull each other back.

George loved it...

Carol is so nice to let the kids come over and play in her yard

and share her beautiful lake with them!

 they love to ride there bikes from our driveway

through hers and back.

I know one of my blog friends has a stinker for a neighbor...

but what about the rest of you?

I feel so blessed to have a lovely tea buddy so close but she has fallen in love

with Mexico and may not be there much longer......

it always makes you think who could your next neighbor be.

Hold on to your seat the best find ever........for me that is!

 I found this German spice chest 

at a yard sale today for $50

I was shaking caring it to the car.

I have wanted one of these forever.

I have seen more elaborate details on them

but I'm so Happy!

 each of the drawers are stamped.

 then Mimi and I found a Fisher and Price house

 one like I had as a little girl.

 in great condition for $2

 I had to have this I had one as a little girl and would pack it for all

my sleepovers......50 cents.

 I loved this picture for a $1

and last but not least this old metal stool

which I can't wait to change the top fabric out

for something with a little more color!

Just a few.....

 Our longest day is fast approaching it's so nice

to have all this daylight, It's amazing the energy you have 

with it..... 

 In Alaska the other wonderful thing is to have all the different

fruit choices in the summer at a more reasonable price.....

I bought a ton the other day and ended up with all the neighbor

kids I wanted to cry there went all my fruit, nectarines all over the yard with

one bite out of them........

 In this little pot is all my soaked seeds I want to plant

is it getting to late to plant??

 We can sure tell the difference in the house this summer

with all those trees down it's much warmer although maybe thats

just because were here also for the first time!

I just had to show you this dress I found at our local consignment store

I found a few other treasures but this was my favorite.....

I hope to finally get out and try and garage sale this Friday.
