Happy 3rd Birthday, Kennedy!

Today we celebrate your 3rd birthday, Kennedy. We can not believe that you are now 3 years old. Seems like we were just welcoming you into this world. You have brought our lives more joy than you will ever know. Daddy and I love seeing you and your sister playing together. We know that God has blessed us with 2 precious children and we can not imagine our world without you. Kennedy, we love your sweet smile with your precious dimple. You are so funny and I see so much of your Daddy's humor in you. Some of your favorite things are baby dolls, singing, and doing anything your big sister does. You love to dance and will soon start dance classes. We know you will love it. You, however, do not like riding in the car. We hope this will soon change as you get older. I guess it is because you like to be so busy :) Kennedy, may you always be so happy and full of life. We look forward to what the future holds for you. Daddy and I love you! Happy Birthday!

Preschool Graduation

These pictures are long over due. All I can say is time does fly. We have been so busy this summer that I have failed to post lately. McKinlea graduated from Preschool in May and we are so excited about her starting Kindergarten in August. She will be attending the school that I am the librarian at. That will give us 30 minutes each way to talk and spend time with each other. Here are some pictures from her special day......

Lot of catching up to do!!!

Summertime is finally here. That means for our family lots of activities and trips. Since John and I are both educators we spend most of our summers visiting family and traveling. We have been to Colorado (trip #1) and Huntsville. We have visited Lufkin and will head on our second trip to Colorado at the end of July. I have been enjoying my summer with the girls. I taught "Princess Prep School" at Second Baptist Church and McKinlea got to attend. She learned about how she is a forever princess of God and that she is beautiful. It was precious and we ended the week with a precious performance. Here are some pictures from her days there. She got to dress up everyday like a princess. Finally, all those dress up clothes came in handy :)

John and I got to take a mini vacation at the beginning of the summer to Colorado to visit his sister and family. We got to go to Rockies baseball game and Estes Park. We are driving back at the end of July with the kids. We can hardly wait.

Our summer if flying by, but we are enjoying every minute of it. Stay tuned for tales of our upcoming adventures :)
